I went to see Oasis on the opening night of the reunion and this electric moment stood out

I went to see Oasis on the opening night of the reunion and this electric moment stood out The Oasis gig saw Liam and Noel Gallagher back on stage together performing for two hours The once warring brothers are back and better than ever (Image: Samir Hussein/WireImage ) If anyone went to see Oasis' opening night at the Principality Stadium then a huge number of them will come away buzzing. Not just their ears, but the Live '25 reunion tour left many of those who went with a sense of fan fulfillment they waited 16 years, or even their whole life, for. Liam Gallagher promised they'd blow the roof off the Cardiff venue and his promise more or less came true during a stand out moment. Their new live rendition of Rock n Roll Star was an absolute beast of a live track and you could feel the whole stadium pumping. The middle tier was bouncing and the entire venue felt like it was about to take off. Yes, The Masterplan and Live Forever were magical to say the least, Don't Look Back in Anger - a true seminal rock moment of British history, but Liam cracking out his Rock 'N' Roll Star lyrics with the kraaangy guitars bounced off every steel surface it could find, Liam's vocal, breathless and it was just a pounding, baying live version of a song that made you feel dehydrated and dizzy joining in. The rest of the 23-strong song set saw other classics like Wonderwall, Roll With It, Talk Tonight - you can find the full set here. Find out how Liam and Noel got on, here. Still looking for tickets for Oasis Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. Article continues below Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly. Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.

Red Dwarf star Chris Barrie cancels string of public appearances due to 'medical situation'

Red Dwarf icon Chris Barrie has pulled out of multiple public appearances due to a mystery 'medical situation'. The TV star, 65, best known for playing uptight hologram Arnold Rimmer in the cult sci-fi sitcom, was expected to reunite with his castmates at London Comic Con over the weekend, but dropped out at the last minute, citing worrying health issues. In a statement posted on his website, Chris told fans: 'Hello everyone. 'I'm going to be brief, but over the last week I have been dealing with a medical situation which I am only just beginning to get my head around. He added that all planned appearances 'over the summer and into the autumn' have now been scrapped, leaving followers concerned for his well-being. 'Updates on all this will be issued as and when,' he added. The beloved actor was due to join Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules, Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge for a long-awaited Red Dwarf reunion that had fans buzzing. While Chris didn't go into detail about the nature of his condition, he did confirm he's still hoping to keep one date in the diary, a comedy appearance at Scarborough Unleashed on November 9. He said: 'In the meantime I shall leave Scarborough on the itinerary for now and will look forward to returning there in the early winter.' Apologising for missing the London event, Chris added: 'Obviously I shall miss not being with the posse in London this Sunday but I'm afraid that is the way it is. Enjoy!' Red Dwarf, which first launched on BBC Two in 1988, became a sci-fi sensation with its bonkers tale of last-man-alive Dave Lister floating through deep space with a hologram, an android, a humanoid cat and a sarcastic spaceship computer. At the height of its fame, it pulled in over 8million viewers, racked up global sales of more than 11.5million DVDs and videos, and aired in around 25 countries. The sci-fi comedy also scooped prestigious honours, including an International Emmy and multiple British Comedy Awards. The series ran until 1999 before being revived on digital channel Dave, with its final episode airing in 2020. As well as Red Dwarf, Chris also starred as Hilary, Angelina Jolie's butler in Tomb Raider. He also plated Gordon Brittas, the most irritating manager in The Brittas Empire which aired on BBC One as one of the principal male voice artists on Spitting Image. At the beginning of 2004 Chris also presented on Discovery Channel's Massive Engines. Chris Barrie's Massive Machines followed in late '04 and Massive Speed was completed in 2006.
