All Hollyoaks spoilers for next week as two major legends return

Metro2 days ago

Hollyoaks serves the drama next week, as confirmed in my new spoilers, as the aftermath of the exploitation story sends shockwaves through the village – with the mother of all comebacks at the centre of it all.
After a decade of wishing, hoping and praying, fans get their wish in the form of a comeback for Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix), who returns from the dead in must-see scenes.
The incomparable soap schemer has somehow evaded death once more and boy are we glad she has.
Estranged sibling Grace Black (Tamara Wall), like the viewers, wants answers about how her sister is – you know – alive. Patience, Grace. Patience. Answers are on their way!
Another twist to the tale is that Clare is the secret wife of DI Banks (Drew Cain), who was leading the child exploitation operation in the village and in the wake of the operation in question having been exposed, villagers want answers, which provides for high-octane scenes aplenty.
And Clare isn't the only comeback on the cards next week, with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) back for more – and this time he and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) manage to cross paths.
Talk about jam-packed! For a full breakdown of what's to come, I've got you covered.
Reunions, confessions and tears are aplenty in the wake of the events which unfolded on screens this week.
Grace is left reeling in the aftermath of her reunion with Clare, who had been presumed dead for over a decade.
The estranged siblings get up to speed over a catch up and a dangerous alliance is forged between the two.
Clare asks Grace for help in accomplishing her one goal, which is getting her hands on cash – cash which is currently in Diane's possession – and fleeing the country with her family.
Over at the police station, a number of villagers are demanding answers in the wake of discovering the exploitation plot and what Frankie, Dillon and Vicky have been subjected to.
Donny is on the case and, with a fatality now confirmed, there are questions aplenty. Nancy, meanwhile, is shell-shocked in the wake of the devastating events.
And she's not the only one, with Sienna getting wind of the fact that granddaughter Tori was in the custody of DI Banks.
At the hospital, Ste receives urgent news from Misbah about Lucas, who has just undergone brain surgery.
Elsewhere, one resident saves himself with a selfless act while a previous client has unfinished business.
It's business as usual for some of our villagers but for others moving forward is much more difficult.
Mercedes is worried about Freddie and, while searching his memory box, she locates the letter Warren wrote for her previously – the one Freddie intercepted. Wanting answers, the former pub landlady resolves to confront her beau.
Later, she waits on the city walls as she reunites with Warren Fox. But just how will this long-awaited reunion go down?
Elsewhere, Sienna is determined to find out the truth, vowing to locate her granddaughter.
A murder probe gets fully underway as the police investigate the shock death. More Trending
Warren is left reeling to discover Mercedes' bowel cancer diagnosis as he desperately tries to remind her of their past.
Sienna, meanwhile, is hopeful that she can find out more about Victoria and thus heads to see Donny at the station. But while there, she makes a chilling discovery.
One resident regains consciousness in hospital but his condition is overshadowed by anger.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Katja on the long-running soap, went public with her relationship six years ago and has now walked down the aisle with her closest friends and family attending the ceremony. According to reports, the gorgeous couple tied the knot in the countryside at a ceremony attended by their family and friends including former Hollyoaks co-star Rory Douglas Speed, who is known for his role as Joel Dexter in the Channel 4 series. Caroline and Rory became close friends on the set of Hollyoaks. ‌ ‌ As per The Sun, Caroline reportedly met her now-husband Phil on the plane and quickly fell for him. As their plan unfolded, Felix - dressed as a policeman - directed her into a garage but she soon became weary of him when she noticed he wasn't wearing a proper stab vest. ‌ Felix panicked about what to do and tied her up before placing her in the back of the van. During the chaos, Katja managed to escape from him. While escaping in her van, she accidentally hit Maxine Minniver. Meanwhile, outside of Hollyoaks, Caroline appeared as Mariana in Line of Duty in 2019. ‌ Not only has she appeared in over 20 Bollywood films, she also received a nomination for Best Actress at the Los Angeles Film Festival for her role in the short film, Dream Catcher. The actress also has almost 200,000 followers on TikTok and entertains fans with her endless, unique sketches and posts. Speaking about content creation, she previously said: "My followers give me so much, and I've built a community with them. I read every comment, and I'm incredibly grateful for the support I receive. ‌ "However, it wasn't easy to start with. I tried to succeed on TikTok for the past two years, but none of my channels were successful. I kept posting every day for nine months, and through consistent effort, I finally managed to build an audience. "I found it tricky at the beginning because my videos barely got any views, but I read that consistency is key, so I decided to keep going."

Nikki Sanderson looked more loved-up than ever as she shared a sweet snap with her boyfriend, Anthony Quinlan, to Instagram on Wednesday. The former Hollyoaks star, 41, who has been in a relationship with the former Emmerdale actor since 2022, cut a casual figure in an all-black ensemble. She cut a sporty figure in skintight leggings and a casual jumper as she attended what appeared to be a sporting event. In the sweet snapshot, Nikki wrapped her arms around her partner's waist and looked adoringly up at him as they posed for the cameras. Meanwhile, Anthony, 40, sported a casual black hoody and matching shorts as he cuddled up to her and pulled a silly grin for the cameras. Nikki captioned the loved-up post: 'Don't look for someone to grow old with, find someone to stay young with.' Nikki revealed in March that she had quit Hollyoaks after starring as Maxine Minniver for 13 years. Before filming her final scenes in April, the actress told The Mirror that the decision to walk away was an 'incredibly difficult' one. She told the publication: 'Deciding to leave was an incredibly difficult decision for me because Maxine is a huge, huge part of my life – and a part of my life that I've loved. 'It's difficult to think, "It's time", and it wasn't an instant or overnight decision, it took me a long time to make it and it was something I genuinely fought with myself about, but I'm lucky that I could talk to people around me and get people's opinions. 'I'm grateful that I've had the stability for so long, now I've just got to embrace the instability of not knowing what's next.' She confirmed that she is not done with the soap world and would jump to Coronation Street, where she previously played Candice Stowe, if given the chance. Nikki joined the cast of Hollyoaks in 2012 and has become a huge fan favourite over the years. But she's decided to step back from her role as Maxine and explore other opportunities, with her final scenes yet to air. A source told The Sun: 'She met with bosses and told them of her plans to leave, she'd just turned 40 and felt the time was right to say goodbye to Maxine. 'She's keen to explore other opportunities and is excited to get back out there. 'Bosses have been plotting Maxine's exit storyline for months and have promised it will be a fitting tribute to the character, and viewers can expect a lot of drama before she goes.' Hollyoaks isn't the only TV show that Nikki has appeared on. Between 1999 and 2005, the star took on the role of Candice Stowe in ITV's Coronation Street. In 2006, she appeared in Holby City as Monica Southworth. Between 2008 and 2009 Nikki played Dawn Bellamy in Heartbeat and In 2012 she also landed the role of Amy Harris in Casualty.
