Taylor Swift has only released a tracklist for her upcoming album, but already the masses are searching for meaning behind the titles of the 12 songs that will be featured on 'The Life of a Showgirl.'
A brief glance at Google trends on Thursday will show you that in the less than 24 hours since she revealed details about the album on boyfriend Travis Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast, Swift has piqued interest in 'The Lion King,' based on Shakespeare's 'Hamlet,' and 'what is the fate of Ophelia?' It will also show you that Kelce is not the only one who Swift may have inspired to learn the definition of words such as 'engulfed' or 'esoteric,' at least according to his brother and pod cohost, Jason Kelce.
People are also curious about 'opalite,' a man-made opal-reminiscent glass that, according to an AI overview, is said by some to promote all manner of healing and transformative powers. The word serves as the title to the third track on her upcoming record.
Other popular search terms in the last day include the Eras Tour, the Kelce brothers' 'New Heights' podcast (no surprise), her album producers, and for reasons not entirely clear, Swift's friend, Blake Lively.
The full tracklist for 'The Life of a Showgirl' follows below:
'The Fate of Ophelia'
'Elizabeth Taylor'
'Opalite'
'Father Figure'
'Eldest Daughter'
'Ruin the Friendship'

Cornwall house where Oasis recorded their debut album now up for sale for £1.95m

An historic home with a recording studio where Oasis made their debut album in Cornwall has been put up for sale for nearly £2 million. The Old Sawmills is a secluded studio where Oasis recorded their landmark 1994 release Definitely Maybe. This remarkable property nestled in Golant, near Fowey, is now for sale through estate agents Stags with a guide price of £1,950,000. Established as one of the UK's first residential recording studios in 1974, the property occupies the site of a 17th-century water mill with roots dating back to the 11th century. SUPERMAN Concept Art and Photos Reveal First Look At Kal-El's Suit Without The Divisive Red Trunks — GeekTyrant

We have our first look at what Superman might have looked like without one of his most recognizable wardrobe choices. Newly revealed concept art gives fans a glimpse of an alternate version of the suit designed for Superman, one that skips the red trunks entirely. Graphic and surface designer Maybelle Pineda shared the behind-the-scenes concept on social media, offering a peek at an early take on the Man of Steel's costume. And yes, the red trunks were nowhere to be seen. Without them, the design feels oddly incomplete, almost like something you'd find on a knock-off toy version of the character. There's a strange nakedness to it, even if everything else about the design remains the same. There was a serious debate behind the scenes about whether or not the red trunks should make a return in the DCU. It echoes the earlier decision made by Zack Snyder to ditch the trunks in his interpretation with Henry Cavill, a move that sparked plenty of controversy back in the day. Initially, Superman director James Gunn was leaning in the same direction. "We were trying on all these different versions, and we screened tested with trunks and no trunks," Gunn explained to io9 during an on-set interview last year. "And one of the things David said is that Superman wants kids to not be afraid of him. 'He's an alien. He's got these incredible powers. He shoots beams out of his eyes… He's this incredibly powerful, could be considered scary, individual and he wants people to like him. He wants to be a symbol of hope and positivity. So he dresses like a professional wrestler. He dresses in a way that makes people unafraid of him, that shows that hope that shows that positivity. And that really clicked in for me. 'And I think trying to pretend that Superman's costume doesn't have some frivolity to it at its base, trying to make it look serious, is silly because he is a superhero. He's the first one, brightly colored and that's who he is." It turns out we have David Corenswet to thank for standing up for the red trunks. His argument wasn't just about tradition, it was about what Superman represents to the world. That visual cue, however campy it may seem to some, carries weight. It's about tone and symbolism. Corenswet pushed for the classic look, and thankfully, he got through to Gunn. So while this trunk-less concept may never see the light of day on screen, it's an interesting glimpse into the creative process behind one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. And it shows just how close we came to another red-trunkless Superman in the DC Universe.

‘Sex and the City' Universe Will End With ‘And Just Like That' Season 3

And Just Like That… It's over. On Friday, director Michael Patrick King announced that the Sex and the City revival show that started airing its third season recently will end with a two-part finale, releasing on Aug. 14. 'The ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end,' King opened his statement. 'When I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.' More from Rolling Stone Sarah Jessica Parker on Talking Politics Online: 'FDR Was Elected Without Social Media' 'And Just Like That' Season 3: How to Watch the 'Sex and the City' Reboot Online Carrie Bradshaw Not Over Aidan, Possibly Writing Romantasy in 'And Just Like That' Trailer King says he made the decision with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys, and Sarah Aubrey to expand the season from 10 to 12 episodes (with a two-part finale) to give a proper send-off to the series that revived the fan-favorite characters on HBO Max. 'SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season,' King wrote. 'It's with great gratitude that we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.' And Just Like That brought back Sex and the City, which originally aired from 1998 to 2004. The original show ran for six seasons and spawned two films. The new show relaunched the series in 2021, airing with SJP's Carrie Bradshaw reconnecting with Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). Kim Cattrall didn't return as Samantha, but made a cameo in the second season. And Just Like That Season Three premiered on May 29, 2025 on HBO Max with episode lengths running between 42-44 minutes. Along with Parker, Davis, and Nixon, And Just Like That also stars Sarita Choudhury (Seema), Nicole Ari Parker (Lisa), John Corbett (Aidan), Mario Cantone (Anthony), and new faces this season, including Rosie O'Donnell and Logan Marshall-Green.
