Paulina Porizkova Shows the Reality of Her Body With a Candid Bikini Photo: ‘This Is 60'
In a July 28 Instagram post, the 60-year-old fashionista showed two snapshots that emphasized how lighting and what we are going through in life can make a difference. The first photo was gorgeously lit as Porizkova hit all the right angles in a tiny white bikini as the sun set in the background — she looked natural and pretty. The second image features her in a flesh-tone bra and panties set with overhead fluorescent lighting that is flattering to absolutely no one. She's proving we can all be both images at the same time. At 60, Paulina Porizkova Is Done Dimming Her Light for Love & Her Fiancé Is All for It
As always, her caption provided the wisdom we all needed to hear.
'This is me,' Porizkova wrote. 'Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot. This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing. This is 60.'
She continued, 'This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things, followed by doing the wrong things, and over again and again. It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't. And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes, and I have to start again.'
Porizkova then summed up with a quote we should keep nearby anytime self-doubts creep in. She added, 'The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam.'
She has had one of the most successful modeling careers, but Porizkova is also experiencing changes in her body — and she's learned to artfully accept the beauty of what she's accomplished. From walking down the runway around the world to birthing two sons, Porizkova is honoring the body she was given.
Porizkova also offered Harper's Bazaar sage advice in April for anyone who is fearing the aging process because in the end, it's the intangible things that 'matter' the most.
'The best part is that you finally turn into the person that you were meant to be all along,' she said. 'And perhaps that's not always a happy finding. But I think if you try to live your life with an understanding that other people matter, that connections matter, and that love matters, then you won't be disappointed with who that person is that you truly are.'Best of SheKnows

After Their 'Incredibly Difficult' Divorce, We Have A New Report On How Kelly Clarkson Responded To Finding Out Brandon Blackstock Was 'Sick'
On Thursday, Aug. 7, People confirmed that Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband and former talent manager, Brandon Blackstock, has died from cancer at age 48. 'It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away,' a representative for his family told the outlet, revealing that he 'bravely battled cancer for more than three years.' 'He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time.' Related: For context, Brandon's cancer diagnosis was kept private until now. The first time we heard he was 'ill' was on Wednesday, Aug. 6, when Kelly announced that she was postponing the remaining August dates of her Las Vegas residency in order to be with her family. In a statement via Instagram, she told fans: 'This past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.' Kelly and Brandon were married from 2013 to 2020, and share two children: 11-year-old River Rose and 9-year-old Remington Alexander. Brandon also has two older kids, Seth and Savannah, from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth. Related: Now, following the news of Brandon's death, a source has shared more insight into how Kelly privately navigated her ex's cancer battle in the years after their acrimonious divorce. 'When she found out that he was sick, she remained protective of him for their sake,' the insider told People in a new report, adding that 'Kelly has always tried to keep things classy.' 'It became clear earlier this year that Brandon was not doing well. She's been devastated for the kids,' they added. Related: As you may remember, Kelly and Brandon's divorce, which was finalized in 2022, involved a messy legal battle centered around a financial dispute stemming from Kelly's time being managed by Brandon under his family's talent agency, Starstruck Management Group. The exes settled their cases in May 2024. In the new People report, the insider reflected on Kelly and Brandon's 'incredibly difficult' divorce, describing it as 'messy, painful and something she felt terrible about.' And in spite of the legal drama, they said it was important to Kelly to keep things positive for their shared family, saying: 'She always wanted her kids to have the best relationship possible with their dad. She never spoke poorly about Brandon to the kids.' Related: At the time of writing, Kelly has not publicly addressed Brandon's death. But we'll be sure to keep you updated if she does. In the meantime, we're sending our well-wishes to the entire family.
