ITV Confirms Stellar Supporting Cast For Thrilling Heist Drama, Frauds, Starring Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker

ITV News15-05-2025

ITV announced today the impressive supporting cast joining the highly anticipated six-part heist drama, Frauds, which includes Talisa García (Baptiste, Blurred), Christian Cooke (Rematch, Plainclothes, Point Blank) Elizabeth Berrington (Lost Boys and Fairies, Good Omens, Stella) and Karan Gill (The Decameron, Brian And Margaret, I May Destroy You).
Frauds is led by BAFTA and RTS award-winning actresses Suranne Jones (Maryland, Vigil) and Jodie Whittaker (Time, Doctor Who) as the complex duo, Bert and Sam, whose intertwined past resurfaces in the setting of Southern Spain after a decade of separation.
As Sam has sought a low-key life, Bert's release from a Spanish prison for compassionate reasons reignites her ambition for one final, significant score. On the pretext of one final, multi-million-pound art heist, Bert attempts to lure Sam out of retirement, but at what cost? Can Sam stay one step ahead of her former friend, who is clearly capable of treachery? Or will the push and pull of their toxic friendship see them both ruined before they are able to pull off the job?
The compelling supporting cast includes Talisa García (Baptiste, Blurred) as Miss Take, a smart, funny, and acerbic Spanish trans woman in her fifties who hosts drag bingo at the club on the Costa del Sol. Miss Take doesn't see the club or drag as her salvation, it's something that served her once and has now become the thing that is holding her back in life. She wants more. And Bert and Sam, despite their thorny history, might just be able to offer her that.
Elizabeth Berrington (Lost Boys and Fairies, Good Omens, Stella) stars as Jackie Diamond, a sharp-witted and sharp-mouthed magician's assistant to her husband The Great Diavolo. But it's Jackie who is the real talent, the master illusionist who invents their tricks and puts together all their elaborate shows and who met Bert and Sam years ago when they were petty criminals. When they come back into her life, she'll be left questioning whether she really is happy in the wings or whether there's still time to take centre stage.
Christian Cooke (Rematch, Love, Rosie) takes the role of Deegs, a Bradford money lender who tracks Bilal to Spain, creating conflict with Bert and Sam and Nansi Nsue (Past Lies, The Mallorca Files) as Amaya, a determined Spanish cop and working mum investigating a bizarre series of thefts.
Lee Boardman (Enola Holmes, Andor, The Crow Girl) takes on the role of Jackie's husband, Craig - a gaslighting, narcissistic mid level magician.
Abdul Salis (F1, The Wheel of Time, Mufasa: The Lion King) plays Mateo - a kind man, considered he is Miss Take's husband and greatest champion.
Karan Gill (The Decameron, Brian And Margaret, I May Destroy You) stars as Bilal, an idiosyncratic Bradford loner with an unusual secret – he's the world's greatest forger. Bilal is the key to them pulling off the greatest art heist of the century, but might also be their downfall.
Thais Martin (Coolie) stars as Caitlin, Sam's long-lost daughter, a petty criminal with her eye on the prize who is not going to let Sam's wish to take care of her trump her need to get in on the heist of the decade.
Kate Fleetwood (The Wheel of Time, Harlots, Fate: The Winx Club Saga) takes on the role of Celine, a no-nonsense East London ex-pat art dealer with a children's soft play centre as a front for her dealings. She has her own moral compass, and it's one Bert and Sam will need to be wary of.
Javier Taboada (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Las chicas del cable, Alta Mar) stars as Blas, a charismatic Spanish prison guard who had a relationship of sorts with Bert while she was inside. Blas has plenty of charisma, and he's not afraid to use it to get what he wants. What makes him dangerous and untrustworthy also makes him the ideal candidate to help Bert and Sam.
Frauds will air on ITV and STV and will be available for streaming on ITVX and STV Player later this year.
Leading independent production company Monumental Television (The Marlow Murder Club, Maryland, Harlots, Ghosts, Murder in Provence), will produce Frauds in association with ITV Studios. Frauds is a co-production with TeamAkers, the production company founded by Suranne Jones and Laurence Akers.
The drama will be executive produced by Alison Owen (Maryland, Ghosts, Harlots) and Katie Kelly (Maryland, Harlots) on behalf of Monumental Television, part of ITV Studios. Debra Hayward, Alison Carpenter, Jill Forbes and Pat Tookey-Dickson also executive produce for Monumental Television. Writer and Co-Creator Anne-Marie O'Connor also Executive Produces as does Suranne Jones on behalf of TeamAkers.
Frauds has been created for ITV by Suranne Jones and Anne-Marie O'Connor and is written by Anne-Marie O'Connor (Maryland, Hullraisers, Trollied). The drama is directed by Giulia Gandini (My Time, Shetland) and Brian O'Malley (Nine Bodies In A Mexican Morgue, Alex Rider).

"Gangs put their differences aside. 'Officers are delighted when it starts, as it makes their lives easier and they get some respite. "Prisoners all discuss which girls they fancy — and which boys give them the hump.' The source added: 'The boys at Feltham aren't usually scared of punishments — the only thing that makes them behave is the fear of losing their TV during Love Island. 'They are all banged up by 9pm when it starts and it's the only time you will be able to hear a pin drop on a prison wing. Coronation Street star welcomes second baby with unique and 'beautiful' name

Rebecca Ryan, who played Lydia Chambers on the cobbles, has given birth to her second child with husband Dan. Coronation Street's Rebecca Ryan has given birth to her second child. The former cobbles star, known for her role as Lydia Chambers, shared the delightful arrival of her newest daughter with husband Dan Acram. The soap actress announced the heartwarming news on Instagram, two years after their first child Aurora was born. She introduced her bundle of joy to her followers with a sweet reveal - and an even sweeter, stand-out moniker. ‌ "Introducing the newest member of my little girl gang, the adorable Oriana," Rebecca, 34, wrote. The name Oriana shares a Latin root with Aurora and is linked to the Latin meaning for gold, 'aurum', and dawn or sunrise, 'oriens'. ‌ Her brother Jack, who also appeared in the ITV soap as Jacob Hay, raced to share his delight in the comment section, gushing: "Proof that the first time wasn't a fluke, you make the most beautiful babies." Congratulatory messages poured in from Rebecca's Corrie colleagues, including Sally Carman who raved: "She's beautiful! Congratulations to you both!" and Elle Mulvaney who added: "congratulations she is beautiful." The mum-of-two also shared an adorable Instagram snap of Dan and Aurora carrying Oriana out of hospital in a car seat with the caption: "Family," followed by a pink love heart. Van Morrison's 'Days Like This' played over the Story. Rebecca has showcased her talent across various popular series such as Waterloo Road, Casualty, and Shameless. Prior to giving birth, she documented her pregnancy journey online with snapshots depicting her growing bump. ‌ "Sleeps overrated anyway, here comes baby No.2," she wrote in her latest pregnancy announcement. The touching post was followed by a red heart emoji. ‌ Rebecca and her husband have been eagerly showing off their firstborn daughter on social media since she arrived in 2023. Last year, Rebecca delighted followers with charming snaps of her darling girl celebrating her first birthday. Taking to Instagram, Rebecca wrote: "My darling girl Aurora, where has this year gone? "The immeasurable joy and love you have brought into my life is something I will be forever thankful for. ‌ "Your cheeky smile lights up every room, and I just love watching you grow and change every single day. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Happy 1st birthday my girl." The arrival of a second child will add another member to Rebecca's expanding clan, which features her accomplished sibling, also known for his soap work. ‌ Audiences were surprised to hear that Rebecca and Jack were siblings when she joined the cast of the beloved British soap shortly after Jack began playing Jacob. Even the showrunners were taken aback when they discovered that the two were related upon casting them as principal stars. Reflecting on the reaction, Rebecca told The Mirror: "Nobody at 'Coronation Street' had any idea. "When I joined, I'd be talking to people and say, 'Oh, yeah, my brother works here'. And they'd go, 'Really, who's your brother? What? Jack!' "It's a dream come true to be working on the show at the same time, but it's a total coincidence." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Princess Andre reunites with 'gorgeous' mum Katie Price during her Pride performance amid claims the glamour model won't feature in daughter's new reality show

Princess Andre reunited with her mum Katie Price on Saturday night as she shared behind-the-scenes clips from her headline performance at Portsmouth Pride. The influencer, 17, posted a sweet backstage selfie with her former glamour model mum, 46, on Snapchat as she supported her at the event. Princess kept casual in a grey hoodie while Katie wowed in a pink dazzling fringe jacket which she wore over a black minidress and donned a sparkling hat. The oldest daughter of Katie and ex husband Peter Andre filmed from the side of stage as her mum performed, she wrote: 'She's such a baddie'. In another selfie on Snapchat, Katie beamed in a more low-key look while Princess pouted to the camera. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Despite Katie making her name, and her millions, as a reality television star it was recently reported that daughter Princess isn't quite so impressed by her mother's star quality because she will not feature on her forthcoming ITV show. MailOnline revealed that Katie will not appear on the fly-on-the-wall programme which will see influencer Princess, who turns 18 next month, become a celebrity in her own right but her dad Peter, step-mum Emily and older brother Junior are all to have parts in the series. The programme will follow her work and home life as she prepares to reach the milestone age and last month, the popular teenager was spotted with a camera crew outside the London offices of hair styling brand GHD. A television insider told MailOnline: 'Katie will not be in Princess's show, the decision has been made and it's final. 'Princess loves her mum, and they have a great relationship, but the show is all about her work and home life. 'Television bosses were adamant that nothing was to be 'staged' to include Katie as it would not be a real and truthful insight into her life.' Princess has already signed big money deals with clothing and beauty brands including being an ambassador for high street chain Superdrug, Studio London, Morphe and Revolution. Cameras will be following her around as she continues to make waves in the highly lucrative influencer world up until she turns 18 at the end of June. Despite Katie making her name, and her millions, as a reality television star it seems that Princess isn't quite so impressed by her mother's star quality But television executives have been so impressed with the teenager that it looks set to be the start of her television career and clearly don't want her controversial mother to muddy her chances at becoming a household name. Back in 2020 dad Peter launched the family's YouTube channel, The Andres, which gave viewers a glimpse into their lives. The source added: 'Princess is a complete natural, which isn't surprising considering she grew up on her parents' reality TV shows. 'Everyone working on the show has been really impressed with her attitude and professionalism. She's got a lot going on so there's plenty of great stuff for them to film. 'It's a really exciting time for Princess.' She hopes the series will help launch her catwalk career. Peter, who shot to fame in the noughties with his hit Mysterious Girl, has brought Junior and Princess up along with wife Emily, 35, with whom he has three children, Amelia, 11, eight-year-old Theo and daughter Arabella, who was born in April 2025. Meanwhile, Katie has son Harvey from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke as well as Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, from her marriage to Kieran Hayler. Katie and Peter, 52, started their relationship in 2004 after getting together on I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! but their relationship fell apart in 2009 and they divorced.
