His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved an additional amount of Dhs100 million in compensation for owners of old houses in Al Madam area who had previously been granted new houses.
His Highness had earlier approved an amount of Dhs250,000 per house as compensation for the owners of 200 old houses that were replaced with new houses.
With the approval of the new additional amount, the total compensation for each house now rises to Dhs750,000, an added support from His Highness to families who have moved into their new houses.

Comparisons were drawn between the first and second editions of the social risk register. Presentations and future planning Detailed presentations were delivered by participating entities to introduce their services, activities, and operational mechanisms for 2024, along with plans for 2025. The importance of continuously updating the social risk register data and reporting new developments was emphasised. Project goals and societal impact The project seeks early intervention to address social phenomena, develop scientifically grounded preventive and remedial plans for family problems, clarify roles, and submit recommendations to relevant authorities for decision-making and policy and legislation formulation related to the family. Additionally, it strives to enhance cooperation between various government departments and unify their efforts to support family stability, cohesion, and the wellbeing of its members, aiming towards a cohesive and sustainable society.
