Fans of Naslen and Mamitha Baiju-starrer 'Premalu', one of Malayalam cinema's most beloved romantic comedies in recent years, will have to wait a little longer for the sequel. Actor-director and co-producer of the film, Dileesh Pothan, confirmed in a recent interview that the follow-up to the 2024 blockbuster has been delayed.While the sequel had been announced in April last year after the film's dream run at the box office, Pothan revealed that the team has not yet resumed work on the second part. During an interview with The Cue, Dileesh Pothan said, 'Our next immediate project won't be 'Premalu 2', it's another directorial venture of Girish AD.'
