William to cheer on Lionesses at Euro 2025 final
It comes after football fan William congratulated the reigning champions on their thrilling comeback to reach the final in a last-gasp victory over Italy in extra time in Switzerland on Tuesday.

They will play the winners of the semi-final between Germany and Spain, which takes place later on Wednesday.
Chloe Kelly had 'no doubt in her mind' about taking the pressure-cooker extra-time penalty that sent England into the final, according to defender Alex Greenwood.
The Lionesses were on the brink of elimination by Italy when 19-year-old substitute Michelle Agyemang forced extra time, drawing the sides level with an equaliser in the sixth minute of stoppage time to cancel out Barbara Bonansea's 33rd-minute opener.
Then, with another shootout minutes away, Beth Mead was brought down and Kelly stepped up to the spot, where she was initially denied by Laura Giuliani, but buried the rebound to complete England's second successive stunning comeback.
'That takes a lot of courage to step up to take that,' Greenwood said.
'I asked her, she had no doubt in her mind, she was confident enough to take it.
Support has been flooding in from some of England's top sport stars.
Former England skipper Sir David Beckham and seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton both posted an image on Instagram stories with the full-time 2-1 scoreline and the jubilant team in celebration after the nailbiting finish.
The messages read 'Well done @lionesses, never a doubt'.
Sir Lewis added three handclapping emoji's to a shot he posted of Agyemang sprinting in delight after her vital goal.

England's men's captain Harry Kane also said 'Congratulations @lionesses!! One to go!' Instagram stories post set against a photograph of the players.
There was also support from two key Lionesses from the Euro 2022-winning squad who pulled out ahead of this year's tournament.
In posts on their Instagram stories, England defender Millie Bright described reaching that final as 'sensational' while former goalkeeper Mary Earps showed a clip of the frenzied reaction of England's Red Roses rugby squad as Agyemang levelled up the scoreline.
Earps added a note saying 'women supporting women'.
Bright made herself unavailable for selection for the Euros, saying she was unable to 'give 100% mentally or physically' while Earps retired from international football five weeks before the Euro defence campaign in Switzerland.

On Wednesday, defender Lucy Bronze said: 'I think the fight, the talent, the hard work we have in this England team is unbelievable and to get back-to-back European finals is not an easy feat.
'Not many teams have done that.'
The Lionesses have now reached three top flight finals in a row, including a loss at the World Cup.
Kelly described it as an 'unbelievable feeling'.
She said: 'It's unbelievable. Such a great feeling. This team deserve nothing but that.
'Three finals on the bounce and we want more.
'This is an unbelievable feeling.'

England Lionesses return home after partying until 4am to celebrate Euro 2025 win
England are bringing football home again as the Lionesses begin their journey back from Euro 2025 with the trophy in hand. Sarina Wiegman's side made history by becoming the first senior England team in the men's or women's game to win a major tournament on foreign soil, and the first to successfully defend a title following their Euros triumph in 2022. The Lionesses did it the hard way, too, coming from behind in all three of their knockout matches. They were the comeback queens in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and Sunday's emotionally draining final against Spain. England were 1-0 down at half-time against the world champions following Mariona Caldentey's well-taken header. But Alessia Russo emphatically replied with a header of her own soon after the break to draw Wiegman's team level in Basel, Switzerland. After a tense ending to the 90 minutes, the Lionesses had to dig in during extra-time and take the game to penalties. Hannah Hampton's goalkeeping heroics allowed Chloe Kelly to once again score the decisive spot-kick and get the party started. England's players and staff partied long into the night, with some staying out until 4am. Champagne was gleefully guzzled until the early hours and the players had a go on karaoke. Now the Lionesses have left their hotel in Zurich and are heading back to London ahead of Tuesday's parade. Princess Charlotte was on hand to cheer on the Lionesses as they roared to victory in the final of Euro 2025 - and she was captured in a series of behind-the-scenes shots with dad Prince William before the big match Princess Charlotte went through a rollercoaster of emotions as she watched the Lionesses roar to victory in the Euro 2025 final. The 10-year-old was pictured in the stands alongside her dad, Prince William, as they faced the agony of seeing England go 1-0 down to Spain before the ecstasy of them bringing it back level and then winning a nail-biting penalty shoot-out. But it seems it wasn't just Charlotte's facial expressions as she watched the match that sparked a frenzy - so did snaps showing her behind-the-scenes with William before the game. Before they made their way out to the stands, the father-daughter duo were introduced to members of the Spanish Royal Family, Princess Leonor and Princess Sofia. The sisters were also in Switzerland to cheer on their country, and pictures shared on social media by the Spanish Royal Family show the princess all meeting for the first time. Like William, Leonor is heir to the throne, while Sofia is the second daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain. Tyson Fury's dad John urges son to stay retired following major U-turn
Tyson Fury has been training recently and has confirmed he will be coming out of retirement to face Oleksandr Usyk for a third time next year and his dad John has had his say John Fury would prefer to see his son Tyson stay retired following the boxing legend's recent change of heart. Back in January, Tyson Fury declared his surprising retirement from boxing after suffering consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. Nevertheless, he has since hinted at a possible comeback by sharing numerous videos of himself running and working out in the gym. This month, Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh confirmed Fury will return to competition. "The 'Gypsy King' will be back!!! I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026. We have a rabbit to hunt!" he posted. Fury subsequently revealed that he will face Usyk for a third encounter - with the bout scheduled to take place next April. The 36-year-old took to Instagram and shared a fight poster featuring both himself and the Ukrainian, accompanied by the caption: "April 18, 2026 Wembley Stadium. The trilogy! UK. contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets." Whilst the 'Gypsy King' appears to be preparing for a boxing return, his father wishes his son would remain retired. Speaking to The Stomping Ground, he said: "People want to see the Gypsy King, but I would rather him stay retired. He's done his bit for the boxing world. He still loves his fans and he thanks them all very much for what they've done, but it's only my opinion only I'd like to see him stay retired," reports All Out Fighting. Fury Sr recognises that fans are eager to witness the Brit return to action, but the 60-year-old remains firm in his stance. "Health, and he's got a family, he's other commitments apart from boxing," he continued. "He's done what he has to do in boxing, as far as I'm concerned, and he's got a lot of young children he wants to be a father to, and he wants to be a healthy father, not somebody that's ended up an imitation or one, you know. "So it's health before wealth. He's got the wealth, he's got everything else, he just needs to calm down and concentrate on what's important." Regarding his return, Fury informed supporters at a BoxFest event prior to Daniel Dubois ' clash with Usyk that he is anticipating his comeback. "For sure. I am open to offers at the moment. I am not going to do any comebacks this year. That is a fact. I have been busy. As you can see, I have got Netflix here. I am filming 'At Home With The Furys! Season 2," he said. "And next year, the big 'G K' is going to make a f****** comeback. The takeover! I am going to be 37 in about three weeks so I am going to be the oldest swinger in town. With all these young boys coming up, it is going to be difficult, but I believe I can put on some very good nights still." As for who he wishes to fight, despite being open to offers, he will not face both Agit Kabayel and Joseph Parker. The two-time heavyweight champion has trained with both men in the past and shares a close bond with Parker. "They are my two brothers," Fury expressed. "They are both lovely guys and they are both future world heavyweight champions. Agit Kabayel and Joseph Parker... he has been a champion before so he knows what it is about. I wish them all the very best in the world and I won't fight either man for any amount of money because some things ain't worth fighting for." When will Tyson Fury step into the ring next? Fury is expected to make his comeback next year, despite rumours of a clash with Usyk. Alalshikh is keen to arrange a bout between the 'Gypsy King' and Anthony Joshua. During a recent stint on 'The Boxing Voice,' Alalshikh disclosed that both fighters would need to participate in tune-up fights first before facing each other. "Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury next year, we are trying to do it and we are thinking about it," he stated. "Why? Because they are both coming off losses. It's to build it up." Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, recently gave an update on his star client's future and revealed that the Brit has reversed his decision to retire. In a chat with talkSPORT, he shared: "He's been talking about it a little bit. Some calls took place and there's an agreement made, that's all I can tell you at the moment." The 73-year-old added: "He has retired, up until he said he was coming back. Look, Frank Sinatra retired a lot. Like I've said to you before if that's how [Tyson] feels in the moment, that's how he feels. We'll see what happens, but he feels he wants it fight Usyk again."
