Six months after teaching the world the definition of 'soft-swinging,' Hulu's breakout #MomTok-ers are back for more.
Season 2 of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' is streaming exclusively on Hulu as of today, and the aftermath of the swinging scandal heard around the web is still unfolding.
For the uninitiated, this story goes back to 2022 when unorthodox Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul (now a star of the reality series) revealed online that she and her then-husband Tate took part in 'soft-swinging' with other couples in their Mormon community — essentially, that means they were swinging, but not going 'too far' with it.

Some members of the #MomTok community distanced themselves from Paul, and the initial fallout of that was explored in Season 1 of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.'
Miranda McWhorter, who previously denied any involvement in the soft-swinging, is now a full-time cast member in Season 2 following her own divorce.

Teyana Taylor Talks Aaron Pierre And Health Issues As Instyle's Latest Cover Star

Source: Kristina Bumphrey / Getty Teyana Taylor is booked and busy, but she took a little of her limited downtime to talk to InStyle and appear as one of their Imagemakers covers. Taylor revealed recently that she's has to have vocal cord surgery, which happened just about the time she was scheduled to drop her album Escape Room on Aug. 22. 'I've been quietly dealing with some vocal challenges for a while now,' Taylor posted on her Instagram Stories. 'And after a lot of back and forth with my doctors, I've been told I need vocal surgery immediately. They found a noncancerous growth on one of my cords that's been messing with my voice and causing real discomfort. Thankfully, we caught it & it's treatable—but it does mean I need to pause and give myself time to fully heal.' Taylor, 34, is on a generational run with a slate of five movie and TV projects on the way with co-stars like Leonard DiCaprio and collaborators like Ryan Murphy, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Kim Kardashian. The first, One Battle After Another with DiCaprio and Sean Penn, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, comes out Sept. 26. All's Fair, a Ryan Murphy legal drama series with Kardashian, Niecy Nash and Sarah Paulson, is headed to Hulu this fall. Escape Room is her first musical project in five years, and the 'visual album's' single, 'Bed of Roses,' included some provocative shots with her rumored boyfriend, British actor Aaron Pierre whose breakthrough role in Netflix's Ruby Ridge propelled him to stardom. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. She told InStyle that she didn't want to talk much about it, but did say, 'I just go with the flow, and I'm trying things a little differently' this time. 'Just protecting my peace and privacy.' She did say that none of the crumbs dropped about their relationship, including photos from a post-Oscar party or footage from his birthday party in June, were an attempt at a 'hard launch' of their relationship. She is a little more forthcoming with Nessa Diab, the Hot 97 personality who is also (as she recently confirmed) Colin Kaepernick's wife. When asked directly if she was dating Pierre, Taylor said again that she wanted to try 'something different.' 'People are praying on your downfall,' she said. 'People are praying on the health that you are building. What me and Aaron have is very healthy. It's very gentle, and it's very soft, and it's very kind, and it's very sweet, and it's very warm, and it's one of the best feelings that I've ever had. And most importantly, it's so safe. And I don't want us to be robbed of that. He's so special to me.' Escape Room is expected to come out on schedule. One of the unique features of the release is spoken word interludes from actors including Taraji P. Henson, Paulson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Kerry Washington. Taylor says that while surgery came just as she was heavily promoting the album's release, sometimes life hands you the break you need. 'It's always easier to go to work when it's with people that you love, cherish, and appreciate, and when it's with people that don't play about you,' she told InStyle. 'I've had a lot of ups and downs within this music industry, like my love-hate relationship with music, different things like that. Escape Room is for people to escape anything .' She added, 'There are a million things that could and will break your heart. Whether it's a relationship, whether it's a business 'ship, whether it's leaving a company, anything that does not serve you, does not see you, appreciate you, value you, you must escape—sometimes even including ourselves. Sometimes we go through these stages where we're just not us. Sometimes you gotta escape back to yourself. Escape back to the best version of you.' Pair Autumn Jeans With Your Summer Dress For A Cool Girl Outfit Recipe

Heatwave or no heatwave, summer is coming to a close and you're going to have to start thinking about your autumn wardrobe soon enough. Thankfully, the girlies at Copenhagen Fashion Week have come up with a genius, albeit a little lazy, fashion solution: adding a pair of jeans or jorts underneath your summer dress. This combination is nothing new, Katie Holmes gave everyone quite the fright rocking the combination back in 2022, while everyone from Ashley Tisdale to Sienna Miller had this ensemble on repeat during the Y2K years. Like the distant rumble of leggings under dresses coming back, we understand the pairing might be a little triggering for the millennials and gen X-ers among us, but don't be intimidated to try the trend again with these easy steps. A mini dress with a free or empire waist is your most failsafe bet when it comes to trying the ensemble for yourself, while a midi or maxi dress works, a nightie or prairie-style mini contrasts well with denim. Plus, this is the way you can extend the life of your much-loved summer dresses. It's also a great way to wear your fanciest pieces in a more casual setting; Cecilie Bahnsen and Molly Goddard dresses do well over some worn out, vintage Levi's. Speaking of denim, opting for a straight-leg style is wise; skinny jeans are going to take your straight back to the Indie Sleaze years, while baggy jeans might add too much volume. The style stars of Copenhagen Fashion Week largely wore the look with flip flops, but ballet flats and trainers with a slim profile would also work well. Still not sure how to wear it? Here's where to shop the pieces you'd need now: ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers. Grammy-nominated singer forced to cancel tour over poor ticket sales. ‘I'm extremely embarrassed.'

Grammy-nominated singer JP Saxe continued to pull the curtain back and let fans in on his decision to cancel his upcoming North American Fall tour. On July 28, the singer best known for his 2019 collaboration with Julia Michaels, 'If the World Was Ending," posted an urgent message on his TikTok account. He told fans that he had exactly 48 hours to sell 20,000 tickets to improve the prospects of Saxe's tour coming into fruition. Although fans tried to rally and bought a few thousand tickets in conjunction with Saxe working to keep prices low at around $50, it was not to be. On Aug. 1, Saxe posted that he made the decision to cancel the tour despite his fans' best efforts. As Saxe explained to The Canadian Press, he was on the verge of concluding his three-album deal with his record label. So, the label itself wasn't going to cover the costs for his slate of North American shows in the fall. Saxe tried to get creative, looking into booking bigger capacity venues to offset potential losses he couldn't afford to have this time around. Saxe then published an op-ed in Variety to detail the reasons why he was so transparent in how his process went for him. 'As a general rule, I'm always trying to practice sincerity in failure rather than the facade of success,' he wrote. 'I think it's really tempting as an artist, or as anyone, to always be projecting that everything is great at all times. And I find that uninteresting and disingenuous.' He thanked fans for their support and explained that those who attended would be promptly refunded. 'Even though a few thousand more people showed up in just a few days — which was emotional and the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me on the internet — it still wasn't enough to save the tour, and I will be humbly refunding every ticket,' Saxe said. Even if it was not meant to be this time around, Saxe still holds on to the belief that he will sell out an entire tour one day.
