Oasis' plans for Cardiff just hours before doors open at Principality Stadium
The wait is almost over – Oasis is back and Cardiff is ready for it. The reunion tour that seemed half the world away last year is about to kick off, and over 74,000 people will pile into the Welsh city's Principality Stadium on Friday night.
Such is the anticipation ahead of Noel and Liam Gallagher's arrival back on the main stage together that fans have already started to camp out. It marks the first of 17 nights across the UK, with fans set to flock to London, Manchester and Edinburgh too.
There will also be a set in Dublin before the band takes the show on the road to North America, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Chile and Argentina.
But the here and now sees Wales ready for action. And there are big plans already in place. Here is what we know so far...
Arriving and exiting Cardiff
Preparations have gotten underway in Cardiff ahead of tomorrow's first show. With over 74,000 fans expected to descend on the Welsh capital, officials have started preparing.
With many expected to arrive by train, the stunning area outside the station has been fitted with metal railings, ensuring that there is no shoving and fighting to get into the station first. Instead, those hoping to arrive or leave by train will form an orderly queue and probably belt out a few tunes while they wait.

Stage times for Oasis in Cardiff
With the band set to play for over two hours on Friday, fans will be eager to know times to try to plan their evening. With doors for the stadium opening at 5pm, fans can treat themselves to some brilliant warm-up acts.
The first support act Cast warm up the crowd at 6pm, shortly followed by Verve frontman and friend of the Gallaghers, Richard Ashcroft will then take to the stage at 7pm. Then, as the anticipation reaches fever pitch the time Oasis reunite live has now been confirmed as 8.15pm.
They are set to play for just over two hours before they will end the set for a 22.30pm curfew. It's thought there will be 24 songs for the crowd to enjoy.
Full set list revealed
It's thought the epic set list has been leaked online ahead of the opener. According to one fan, they have claimed they heard the full rehearsal setlist after staying for the duration of the playback. They said the tracks to be belted out by 74,500 in attendance will be as follows:

When pressed further on how the feuding brothers might hold it together for a full tour, Kensit shut the topic down altogether. 'I think I've said enough now about that. I send only love and light," she said firmly. Last year, as rumors of a reunion swirled, Kensit posted a message on Instagram, distancing herself from the narrative. 'I will say no more than this I am really happy for Liam and Noel. I'm sure the tour is going to be thrilling and I send nothing but love and light to them both… No more questions it was 25 years ago.' Her reluctance to revisit the past likely stems from her tumultuous history with the Oasis frontman. In a previous interview with the Mirror, she opened up about the highs and lows of their relationship. At the time, she said: 'We just clicked on every level. He was protective and loving. When we were together there were fireworks, and a chemistry that lasted to the end." However, the reality behind the scenes was far less romantic for the actress. 'I cried every day for three and a half years… The first week we were living together he went AWOL. I'm just realising now that isn't normal… I gave the most I'll ever give. I'm gutted it didn't work out.' As for the band itself, tensions may still be simmering. A source close to the tour revealed that as rehearsals began, they didn't go smoothly as hoped. 'Liam barely even stayed for the first eight songs before leaving the rehearsals early, and Noel continued on his own," a source revealed. Oasis's long-awaited reunion tour, Oasis Live '25, storms back into stadiums tonight debuting on July 4–5 in Cardiff, then heating up Manchester's Heaton Park with four nights in July. They will then play London's Wembley for another four dates in late July and early August, before performing at Edinburgh's Murrayfield for three mid-August shows. Liam and Noel will wrap up the UK & Ireland leg at Dublin's Croke Park across two nights. After that, the brothers take their iconic Britpop anthems worldwide, touching down in arenas across North America, Asia, Australia, and South America through November.

'We've spent thousands on Oasis tickets - exactly what to expect from reunion'
Three Oasis superfans reveal how their lives have been changed forever by the Mancunian megastars and share some of their most magical memories and funny anecdotes with The Mirror 'Some Might Say' 1994 was a great year - TV show Friends premiered on NBS, Nelson Mandela was sworn in as South Africa's first Black president and here in the UK a band called Oasis became instant icons after releasing their first single Supersonic. Over the decades that followed, the Britpop band had eight UK Number 1 singles and eight UK Number 1 albums - not to mention 22 consecutive UK top 10 hits between 1994 and 2008. While songs like Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger provided the soundtrack to many young people's lives, Liam and Noel Gallagher were just as famous for their brotherly brawls that stole the headlines, as they were for their catchy, chart-topping anthems. But public spats aside - and ahead of the band's reunion shows kicking off in Cardiff today (July 4) - their fans have been sharing some of their best memories with The Mirror. The construction industry director says: "I first listened to Oasis when I was eight years old – it was the Definitely Maybe album – in the car, with my family, very loudly, and from that moment I was hooked. "Since then I've seen the brothers play more times than I can count, but this tour marks something very different for me. It's a chance to relive the nostalgia I had during my childhood, but this time with my wife and friends – which will create even more incredible memories that I will cherish. "I managed to get tickets to the opening night of the tour, in Cardiff, as I wanted to make sure I could experience the buzzing atmosphere of the start of a tour that will make history. I've also splashed out on more tickets for two back-to-back nights at Wembley. When I go to an Oasis gig, I'm surrounded by others that love the same thing as me. It's other-worldly." Katy Georgiou, 42, a music therapist told The Mirror she's seen Oasis play 16 times and gave Liam Gallagher a birthday present that he still treasured eight years later. "I've met them a few times and in 1998 I gave Liam a gift for his birthday and to say thank you as a fan. It was a tiny, white, tasselled tambourine that I'd bought from a music shop in Camden market, along with a black and white print of John Lennon, because every fan knows he loves John Lennon. 'Years later in 2005 when I was in my final year of university, I was sitting in my room one morning writing an essay when I got a phone call from my mum. She told me that she'd gone out shopping and that I'd never guess who'd just walked in: Liam Gallagher!' Unbeknown to Katy's mum, Liam spotted her talking on the phone and strolled over to ask if he knew her because he thought he recognised her. She told him she was on the phone to her daughter - a huge fan of theirs. 'The next thing I know, he's taken the phone off her hands and says hello to me!' Katy recalls. 'I said hello back and we had a quick little chat. I was in shock. That wasn't even the best bit. I then said 'Liam, I have no idea if you remember me, but I've met you a few times in the past and I once gave you a tambourine as a present.'' 'He then proceeded to describe the very tambourine back to me! 'Did it have a white skin on?' he asked. 'Yes!' I replied. 'Did it have tassels?' he said. 'Yes!' I replied. He said he remembered it and that he still had it. t really made my day and made me realise how he makes an effort to remember people.' And Sian Downes, 36, a mum of two from Scotland, says she could also be a contender for the World's number one Oasis fan because she met her hubby through a shared love of the band. 'I met my hubby on Tinder, we both had Oasis in our profile, and we both feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who is such a fan,' she told The Mirror. The couple bonded after hubby Mark asked her if she preferred Liam or Noel after reading her declaration of love for the band on her profile. Sian wrote him an essay in response and was surprised to find that, not only did Mark not run a mile, but he was also in a Noel Gallagher cover band. When they got married six years later, they had an Oasis-themed wedding and decorated their house in the band's merchandise. Sian even tracked down an exclusive replica of Noel's Riviera guitar as a wedding present for her new hubby. And she has even named her business Strawberry Lemonade after falling in love with the lyrics from Oasis song Talk Tonight - the B-side of Some Might Say. I was probably about nine when I got into them,' she recalls. 'I had the greatest hits of 1998 album, they featured on that, and I was hooked. "I love the great music and the songs you can lose your mind and your voice to. It's the perfect balance of rock 'n' roll along with beautiful lyrics. I've been to see them around 20 times - separately and together - but this reunion gig will be special because it just never ever seemed like it could happen. I am actually emotional about the whole thing and am beside myself with excitement." Meanwhile, Barclays research shows the Oasis reunion tour will give the UK economy an incredible boost. Oasis fans are set to spend a combined total of £1.06bn, with attendees each planning to splash out an average of £766.22 to see the Gallagher brothers reunite at one of the 17 UK concert dates. This exceeds the £997m that Barclays estimated would be spent on the UK legs of Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour in 2024, largely due to Oasis playing two more UK tour dates. And it's good news for local businesses - with the tills at barbers and vintage clothes shops pinging in delight. Jacob Knight, Owner of Knight Vintage said:" Since the Oasis comeback tour was announced, we've seen a real spike in sales, and there's no doubt it's because of the band. Stone Island, CP Company, Fred Perry, Adidas - all the key labels from that era are suddenly top of the list. We'd already been building up our collection in anticipation, but demand is through the roof. Synonymous with 1990s Britpop, they embodied working-class swagger, rebellion, and raw confidence, which translated effortlessly into fashion. From Liam Gallagher's signature parkas and bucket hats to Noel's mod-inspired tailoring, their style was as influential as their music. "They revived British streetwear, made Adidas track tops cool again, and helped re-popularise the casual look with a rockstar edge. People are buying into Oasis' iconic style. And they're looking for the real thing, not just high-street copies. For shops like ours, it's a chance to bring out archive pieces and have proper conversations with customers who know exactly what they're looking for.' Andreas Lazarou, owner of Lazarou Hair Group said they have also benefitted from the Oasis reunion. "Ten mod haircuts a week is a real shift from where we were just a few months ago - we weren't getting any at the start of the year. You can see how fan culture drives real change. When a band like Oasis is back in the spotlight, people want to look the part. It's not just about the music - it filters down into fashion, grooming, the whole lot. "And when that happens, we feel it in the chairs straight away. It's actually great for business - gives stylists something different to work with, and clients are very excited to look a little more like their icons. Oasis fans to be charged jaw-dropping price for pint at reunion gig
Oasis fans are expected to neck thousands of pints in the Principality Stadium as Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite on-stage for the first time in 16 years – but they won't be cheap The shocking price of a pint for the Oasis tour kicking off in Cardiff has been revealed - with fans expected to spend a fortune on cigarettes and alcohol over the weekend. Based on the prices at the Principality Stadium at recent gigs and rugby matches, Oasis fans will shell out a whopping £7.80 for a pint of lager when the long-awaited tour kicks off tonight and on the second night on Saturday. Or they can opt for a four-pint jug for £31 when Noel and Liam play two nights at the venue in the Welsh capital – which will make each pint just 5p cheaper. There are pubs around the stadium which will offer cheaper drinks before fans head inside when gates open at 5pm. The Prince Of Wales is a Weatherspoon's pub within walking distance of the stadium. There is also a row of bars opposite Gate 4 of the venue which includes a Brewdog pub and Queens Vaults which both have high ratings on Google. Some fans have been queuing to go into see Oasis overnight, and they have been rewarded with ticket upgrades to VIP status. They had their tickets checked earlier and will now have to wait until 5pm before they are allowed in. Once inside support act Cast will play first at 6pm following by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm and Oasis taking to the stage at 8.15pm. Oasis fans have been forecasted to buy 8,667,600 pints during the tour, with 2,219,458 of those pints getting chucked in the air in celebration. The Oasis reunion was initially so secret that Liam and Noel told just eight people, with friends and family not in the loop. That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August last year. The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band's long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: "The great wait is over." Ticket sales then led to chaos as millions of fans around the world scrambled to get them. The band will finally take to the stage tonight, having split in August 2009. In a video to promote the comeback last year, Liam was heard saying: "When we both come together, you have greatness." Noel then says: "I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening." Oasis are also bringing out deluxe formats of their iconic album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? to celebrate the era-defining album's landmark 30-year anniversary. The new version of their second LP will feature new unplugged versions of five classic recordings Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory, Wonderwall, Acquiesce and Champagne Supernova. Released on October 3 on Big Brother Recordings, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) is available for pre-order on limited edition 2CD and 3LP formats as well as digital formats. This special anniversary format follows last summer's release of the 30th Anniversary Edition of Definitely Maybe which reached number 1 in the Official UK Album Chart for the second time in that album's history.
