Man who led police on 155mph chase jailed
A man who led police on a chase through Warwickshire and Leicestershire while driving at times over 155mph (250kph) has been jailed. Patrick Connors, from Queensferry, in Flintshire, led officers on a pursuit along the M1 and M69 after failing to stop in February, Warwickshire Police said. They had tried to pull him over for failing to appear in court in 2024 for fraud offences in 45-year-old was jailed for three years and was banned from driving for 60 months at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday. Motorcyclist (40s) dies after collision with truck in Kerry
A motorcyclist in his 40s has died following a collision with a truck in Co Kerry. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N69 on the Listowel side of Tarbert village, Tieraclea, Co Kerry, on Friday morning at approximately 10am.
