Normalcy is returning in Manipur, says Sunil Ambekar
Addressing the media in Delhi, the RSS's national publicity in-charge Mr. Ambekar said it took a lot of time for the situation to become normal when such disturbances erupt in any region.
'But compared with last year, normalcy has definitely started returning to the State. This happens due to the dialogue between the two communities,' said Mr Ambekar.
Emphasising how RSS workers tirelessly worked in riot-hit areas of Manipur, Mr. Ambekar said the Sangh had also attempted to speak with both groups and owing to this, positive changes can be seen on the ground.
Speaking on the issues discussed over the three days of the 'Prant Pracharak' (regional heads) meeting that concluded in Delhi on July 6, Mr. Ambekar said senior organisation members shared recent developments in their areas and burning issues of the country were discussed.
'Our volunteers from bordering States shared their experience and the present condition of their region. The Pracharaks also shared the public's opinion on Operation Sindoor and other recent events of national importance,' he said.
Sharing the Sangh's plan to mark its centenary, Mr. Ambekar said that the organisation was looking to reach out to every village and every house.
'As part of our centenary year, we will be organising Hindu Sammelans [meetings] in 58,964 mandals and 44,055 bastis across the country. There will be discussion on social festivals, social unity and harmony, and Panch Parivartan (five transformations). Similarly, Samajik Sadbhav Baithaks [Social harmony meetings] will be organised in 11,360 blocks and towns to promote social harmony in the society,' Mr Ambekar informed.
He also shared the RSS's plans for door-to-door outreach and said efforts will be made to reach maximum number of houses in every village. The main goal in the RSS's centenary year is inclusive outreach across professions, geographies, and communities to foster holistic social integration, Mr. Ambekar remarked.

World recognises 2 infinite powers of India — demography and democracy: PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India's two strengths are its demography and democracy, with the country being the most populous and the largest democracy in the world. In a virtual address during Rozgar Mela, after distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to youths, the PM said his government's welfare schemes, be it building over four crore houses for the poor, distributing over 10 crore new LPG connections or the rooftop solar programme, have created lakhs of new employment opportunities, and so have a host of other initiatives that led to growth in manufacturing sector. Exhorting the youth to work hard for the nation, he said the motto should be 'citizens first', and underlined that their careers would be the most important phase of 'Amrit Kaal' for the country. 'The world acknowledges today that India possesses two infinite powers. One is demography, the other is democracy. In other words, the largest youth population and the largest democracy,' he said. Asserting that the country has progressed in every field in the past 11 years, PM Modi said electronic manufacturing had risen over five times and mobile manufacturing units have increased to nearly 300 from two to four earlier. Noting that over 25 crore people were lifted out of poverty in the past 10 years, the PM said it would not have happened but for the employment and sources of income generated for them. Citing an International Labour Organization report, Modi said over 90 crore people were covered under the ambit of welfare schemes in the last decade. The worth of defence production has gone beyond `1.25 lakh crore, he said, adding that India is now on the way to becoming the third-largest economy. Defence manufacturing is being discussed proudly after Operation Sindoor, he said in an apparent reference to the display of India's indigenous military capability during the conflict with Pakistan. The government, he said, was focusing on creating new employment opportunities through the Employment Linked Incentive Scheme, under which people in their first job in the private sector would be given `15,000 by the government. He added that this is expected to help create about 3.5 crore new jobs.

Doval also held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and underlined the urgency of addressing terrorism in all its forms. He emphasized the need to counter terrorism in all its forms and manifestations to maintain overall peace and stability in the region. India had launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, conducting precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. During the meeting, Doval and Wang Yi reviewed recent developments in India-China relations and stressed the need to promote overall bilateral ties, including greater people-to-people contact. Rajnath Singh also briefed his counterparts on the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor launched by India aimed at dismantling the terrorist networks in Pakistan. According to government sources, the declaration had references to incidents in Pakistan but omitted any mention of the April 22 Pahalgam attack. Maa Kali has always had special blessings over the Indian Army: Rajnath Singh
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 12 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said that the Indian Army continues to receive the special blessings of Maa Kali, as he stated that Indian forces successfully destroyed nine terror camps located in Pakistan during a recent operation named Operation Sindoor. He added that the operation saw active participation from both male and female personnel, including women soldiers and pilots. Addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony of a new block at the Badi Kaliji Temple complex in Lucknow, Minister Singh said, 'Maa Kali has always had special blessings over the Indian Army. Recently, during Operation Sindoor, Indian forces were able to destroy nine terror camps in Pakistan. Women soldiers and pilots also participated in this operation, not just male soldiers. That one form of Mahakali defeated the enemies.' Referring to the month of July, Singh underscored its historical significance for the Indian Armed Forces. 'Twenty-six years ago, in 1999, a military conflict took place between India and Pakistan in the Kargil hills. Pakistan had made a desperate attempt to capture Indian territory. At that time, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Member of Parliament from Lucknow and the Prime Minister of the country, led the nation with a firm resolve that not even an inch of India's land would be surrendered, and he succeeded. Such was our revered leader, Atal Bihari Vajpayee,' he said. Defence Minister also recalled the bravery of Captain Manoj Pandey, who was part of the Gorkha Rifles regiment. 'The battle cry of the Gorkha Rifles is 'Jai Mahakali, Aayo Gurkhali'. Mahakali is considered the force behind bravery in this country. This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Kargil War, and on this occasion, we must remember all brave soldiers, including Captain Manoj Pandey, who laid down their lives for Mother India,' he added. Singh also reflected on India's historical legacy, saying, 'India has been an example of economic prosperity and material development for centuries. We have set models of progress and wealth, yet have never used it to fuel geographical expansion or exploitation. This is one of India's greatest strengths.' 'Today, however, India has changed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Alongside development, our country is preserving its heritage. The reconstruction of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Mahakal Corridor, the Somnath Temple, and the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya are clear examples,' Singh asserted. Speaking about the Badi Kali temple, he urged collective efforts to enhance the grandeur and divinity of the site. 'I assure you of all possible support as your public representative,' he said. The Defence Minister also acknowledged the efforts made for the reconstruction of the temple and noted that a decision has been taken to build a Satsang Bhawan at the site. 'Our Tourism Minister, Jaiveer Singh, has announced the construction of a grand Satsang building here. It will allow the people of Lucknow to participate in spiritual gatherings and rituals. Additionally, a yoga centre will also be built here,' he added. (ANI)
