In one of the more unexpected Marvel drops this year, Marvel Entertainment has released a massive 8.5-hour YouTube video featuring none other than Hugh Jackman's Wolverine — simply breathing.
Titled a 'breathing exercise,' the video shows Jackman's Wolverine taking slow, gravelly breaths backed by tense Marvel music.
About halfway through the nearly nine-hour runtime, Wolverine suddenly strikes an iconic pose, offering a surprise moment for any fans who tough it out long enough to see it.
The unusual project arrives almost eight months after Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters, and around five months after its premiere on Disney+.
In a few short hours, the video has already attracted nearly 40,000 views, proving that fans are more than willing to tune in — even if just to hear Wolverine growl in their ears.
Many fans online have speculated that the lengthy breathing session was meant to be an April Fools' Day joke that got left behind.
However, Marvel insists the video serves a real purpose, releasing it just in time for National Stress Awareness Month.
As the video description explains:

Despite Marvel's stress-reduction claims, some viewers have pointed out that the suspenseful background music paired with Wolverine's intense breathing might not exactly be the most calming experience.
