Palak Tiwari shares her admiration for Salman Khan, reveals working for free on Antim, and talks about her unforgettable debut experience in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Palak Tiwari's entry into Bollywood might seem like a dream come true, but it began with pure love for the craft and no financial expectations. Before making her acting debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in 2023, Palak was part of Salman Khan's 2019 production Antim: The Final Truth, not as an actor—but as an assistant director.
In a recent chat with Mashable India, Palak revealed she didn't take any money for her role behind the scenes on Antim. 'Paisa kya hota hai? I'm in Salman sir's presence, you think I'll ask for money? Why, I've never asked for money, ever! You can, Salman sir would say, 'Sure.' But main kya bachchi, main kya hi contribute karungi ki wo mujhe paise de yaar."
Even after completing a full movie with Salman, she still finds herself in awe of the superstar. 'I've done a whole film with him, whenever I meet him till date, or even if I get a message from him, I get star struck. I usually don't get star struck, you can make anyone sit in front of me. But when he's in front of me, I stop speaking and start stuttering. He just changed my entire personality. Then he said, 'Aaram se bolo.'"
Palak didn't hold back about being a longtime fan. 'I'm a closeted Salman sir fan. I'm not keeping it a secret anymore. But everybody knows I'm a super fan." Talking about getting the offer for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, she added, 'I get paid to be around Salman sir for three months. Main toh kar rahi hu. It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot. I made very good friends. It was a very good introduction to the industry. It felt like a debutante ball."
She also looked back fondly at moments on the set, particularly when Salman was filming for Bigg Boss at Goregaon Film City. 'We used to chill there. He used to make us gym there and feed us sweets." According to Palak, Salman's home-cooked food is unmatched. 'He doesn't restrain himself. He doesn't believe in diets. That's why his body is so good."
Palak shared how working with Salman shaped her thinking about fitness and well-being. 'He's my favourite person ever! He's my idol." While she isn't in constant touch with him, his presence in her life still feels significant. 'Salman sir is Salman sir! If he has something to say to you, he'll say it to you. Salman sir is like this omnipresent deity, he takes care of everyone. He's just a very kind man. He has a sense of what you're going through, so he'll ask you, 'You're doing good?' Whenever he asks you that, just know he's there for you."
From admiration to mentorship, Palak's experience with Salman Khan has clearly left a lasting impact—one that shaped both her debut and her personal growth.

Aamir Khan said that he also wanted a joint narration for his 1994 film Andaz Apna Apna. The 60-year-old shared screen space with Salman Khan in this Rajkumar Santoshi directorial. Aamir Khan said, 'Like in Andaz Apna Apna, when Rajkumar Santoshi was narrating for the first time, Salman cancelled the meeting thrice. We got there, but he was not present. His secretary said, 'Salman will listen to it later, you guys carry on, he is doing the film'. I said I will not listen to it either. I will only listen to it when Salman is present. He cancelled thrice, but we finally listened to it together.' Shah Rukh Khan played the role of an obsessive stalker, Rahul Mehra, in Darr. He makes it his mission to woo Juhi Chawla's Kiran, despite her being in love with another man (Sunny Deol). At present, Aamir Khan is awaiting the release of Sitaare Zameen Par. The film, which is the sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, will premiere on June 20, 2025.

Amidst the unfortunate incident of Air India Flight AI171 crashing shortly after taking off, actor Salman Khan decided to cancel a work event. Salman, who is the new face of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), was supposed to attend a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday, along with ISRL's co-founders, Veer Patel and Ishan Lokhande. However, as the event commenced, at the same time, the horrific news of the plane crash surfaced. Showing their support for the families of victims of the plane crash, the organisers announced that the event has been called off. They said, 'As you all know, a tragic incident occurred earlier in the day. It's a sad time for everybody. ISRL and Mr Salman Khan stand by united with the nation in these tough times." 'We have taken a responsible joint decision to reschedule this event as it's not a time for celebration. We stand by the nation united. All our condolences and prayers with the families of the dead. Stay strong, India," they added. The organisers further shared a press note that read, 'As we all have just heard the tragic incident that has taken place today. Indian Supercross Racing League and Mr. Salman Khan stand by the Nation United in this tough time. All our condolences and prayers are with the affected families. Boeing 787 Dreamliner (VT-ANB) which was headed towards London's Gatwick Airport had 242 people on board, counting both passengers and crew. An Air India plane going towards London carrying 230 passengers which had taken off at 1:38 pm from Ahmedabad had a crash. Air India flight was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner twin jet had 12 crew members. As this tragic event took place, several celebrities came out in support and expressed their grief towards those who lost their lives. As this incident took place, Salman Khan cancelled his appearance at an event which was to take place in Mumbai today. It was a brand event which was supposed to take place with Salman. But the organisers along with the actor cancelled the event in solidarity towards the tragic plane crash.
