Love Island's Dejon breaks silence on ‘Surviving Dejon' book written by step-sister who branded him a ‘narcissist'
During his time in the villa on the ITV2 reality dating show, Dejon came under fire for his controversial behaviour and now his step-sister has added to the chorus of criticism.

His step-sister Niah, who is not biologically related to Dejon but shares a brother with him, has released a book named 'Surviving Dejon,' where she accused him "gaslighting" and "abusive."
But Dejon has now broken his silence the ordeal and said Niah's book was full of "untruths" and he planned to take action.
The footballer was dumped on day 56 of this year's Love Island, alongside his girlfriend, Meg Moore, whom he said knows him well despite what Niah had to say about him.
"There's a lot of untruths and unfair stories that I am challenging at the moment, the most important thing is Meg knows who I am, my family know who I am," Dejon said during an interview on Capital X radio.
Dejo then even gave a "shoutout" to previously dumped Islanders Andrada and Billykiss, who were quick to support him once he and Meg left the villa.
"They told me, 'Dejon there's a lot of things being said about you, we know that's not you, we know that's not how you are as a person'," he revealed.
"So shoutout to them they didn't need to do that."
Prior to releasing her book, Niah had posted a series of scathing videos to TikTok where she tore shreds off Dejon's character.
In the six minute video, Niah claims that what viewers have seen on TV is an accurate reflection of how Dejon behaves in real life, she began: " So I've decided to speak out because I've been silent for way too long and I know that I will be receiving probably alot of backlash from my family for this.
"You guys are all clearly very traumatised from seeing Dejon on TV and seeing everything that he's doing and watching everything play out it seems as though no one is holding him accountable.
Love Island's Dejon responds to step-sister's claims that he's a 'narcissist' and 'manipulative' as he insists it's 'false'
She went on to say: 'Dejon is a narcissist, he's manipulative. I've been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me. And it's just crazy now that the whole of the UK can see what I've been trying to explain to people for so long."
Niah also revealed in a later video that four family members had messaged her asking her to take her video down.
"So, yeah, that clearly isn't a coincidence," Niah said speaking on the family messages: "At first, I did consider taking it down, but then I realised why would I take something down when I strongly believe in everything that I said."

Love Island star Shaughna Phillips reveals holiday nightmare as she shares travel advice
Love Island star Shaughna Phillip recently returned from Alicante, Spain, but had a horrible experience at the airport on her way back to the UK Shaughna Phillips detailed her travelling nightmare while on the way back from Alicante Airport this week. The Love Island star was on holiday with her family when the incident unfolded, prompting her to take to her Instagram Stories to share travel advice with her many followers. The TV personality revealed there was an abnormal number of travellers at the airport, with 'snaking queues' reaching the back of the airport. However, she soon discovered a travel hack that got her entire family through the line without having to wait for hours. "I've had loads of messages asking me about Alicante Airport and what happened because they're going to be using it. So, I thought I would jump on here quickly and tell you all because I did have a solid bit of advice," she said. It comes after a Brit abroad slams all-inclusive hotel food asking 'what on earth is this?' She had a flight at 11:20am and arrived at the airport at 9am, but still had to 'run to the gates'. The reality star said they were sat by the gate for only five minutes before the flight started boarding. "So we had no time, no shops, no wee breaks," the TV personality revealed. "When we got there it was like I've never see it before. "It was like Selfridge's on Christmas morning with people queueing everywhere and you couldn't even tell where the queue started that you needed to be in. "The queue for the EasyJet desk was about 30-35 minutes queue and it snaked like it was way out the barriers to where it was supposed to be. And that wasn't just EasyJet either." The star said every single check-in and baggage drop desk was busy "apart from Jet2 because nothing beats a Jet2 holiday". The star went on to reveal there was another long queue that went "all the way back to the end of the airport". She left her father-in-law in the queue to walk around with her baby and noticed there was a VIP fast track that bypassed the whole queue if travellers paid 10 euros to get through. Shaughna said there was a black sign with a QR code at the front of the queue that has the information on the VIP queue. Shaughna returned from her holiday this week and told fans she was "ready for an exciting few weeks/months". She said: "I feel like my life has somewhat been put on hold for the last few years, and it's finally coming to an end, only good times ahead." The star later returned to her page to share her reality check moment. She wrote: "One minute you're laying by the pool and the next minute you're in Kennington getting a blood test, life comes at you fast."

Lewis Hamilton hints he is taking a break with cryptic two-word tweet after Ferrari star's F1 struggles
LEWIS HAMILTON has put fans on alert after making a curt and cryptic post to his social media accounts. The seven-time world champion hinted that he is taking a break from social media in a two-word post uploaded to his 8.6 million followers on X. 4 4 4 The F1 legend has had a tough run of things in recent weeks as he continues his struggle to find his feet with new team Ferrari this season. Hamilton's message to fans was simply "back soon," implying the British sporting icon is stepping away from social media for a spell. This ties in with his earlier posts from this afternoon, when he posted a scenic picture of him and his bulldog Roscoe with the caption "Outta office." He posted similar sentiments to his Instagram account, captioning the same images "DND" - Do Not Disturb. When one fan replied with "touching grass, literally" - a reference to a phrase meaning to get out of your house or place of work and go outside, he replied in agreement. "Exactly," the 40-year-old said, suggesting he is taking the time away from social media to reconnect with other areas of his life. It is no surprise that the racing champion is keen to get away from it all, considering the brutal few weeks he has been through recently on the track. Hamilton did not land with the splash he was hoping for since making the switch from Mercedes to Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season and has failed to make any real headway in the championship race. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS He is yet to register a podium finish this season, and sits 42 points behind teammate and five-time podium holder Charles Leclerc in the drivers' standings. But it was in the most recent races in Belgium and Hungary that things really escalated for the Stevenage native. Hamilton had a nightmare start to the Belgian Grand Prix weekend at Spa in late July, qualifying in 16th after a shocking knockout in Q1. But things went from bad to worse as he was slapped with a 60-place grid penalty and forced to start from 18th after taking on a new power unit. He was keen to right his wrongs at the Hungarian GP the following week, but things were only going to get more dire. Hamilton only managed to make it to Q2 at the Hungaroring, prompting an outburst in a post-qualifying interview in which he labelled himself "absolutely useless." "It's me every time. I'm useless, absolutely useless," he said following his 12th place qualifying finish. 4 "The team have no problem. You've seen the car's on pole so we probably need to change driver." Former team boss Toto Wolff came out in defence of Hamilton following his comments, and suggested that he could still come back and challenge at the very top of the sport. F1 icon Bernie Ecclestone was perhaps the Brit's harshest critic, suggesting Hamilton should retire before his legacy suffers at the hands of his declining performances. Whether it be his conduct on or off the track, or the comments of those around him in F1, it is becoming increasingly clear that the pressure is mounting on the shoulders of one of the best to ever do it. His next chance to turn things around will be at the Dutch GP at Zandvoort in two weeks.
