EuroMillions £185,000,000 winning jackpot numbers revealed
Friday night's National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are: 18,28,42,46 and 48. The lucky star numbers are three and nine.
Lottery winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their winnings.
Several lucky winners have claimed their prizes in recent weeks, including best friends Carly Wiggett and Becky Witt who put their faith in a horoscope to win £168,000 each.
The pair from Dartford, Kent, bought a EuroMillions ticket after Carly's mum, Tracy, read that a Pisces and Taurus would win the lottery if they entered together.
Other winners include a family from Cork, Ireland who won £216,000,000 and revealed they plan to stay in their home city, with no 'outrageous plans to spend the cash yet – except maybe a Rolex'. More Trending
However, other lucky winners have not been so fortunate after bagging their winnings, as assassination, abduction or substance abuse all form part of a curse following lottery winners.
History has countless examples of winners whose lives took a turn for the worse after scooping a large sum of money.
To win the full estimated £185 million jackpot, winners must have five winning numbers, and the two EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers.

BBC Breakfast viewers switch off after 'creepy' interview with national treasure
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video It was more a red face than a red sofa on BBC Breakfast this morning, thanks to Only Fools and Horses star Sir David Jason. The 85-year-old sat down with Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt to discuss his illustrious comedy career, during which he couldn't help but get distracted by Naga. Indeed, the legendary actor left a blushing Naga in fits of laughter, with the star clearly finding the TV presenter 'lovely jubbly'.Just as he was about to share an anecdote from his illustrious career, Sir David remarked, 'It's Naga, I just can't keep my eyes off her!' A red-faced Naga then asked the star 'Do you always do as you're told?' After he refused to spill any details about his latest project, saying he was under strict orders to keep it under wraps. Smiling, David said, 'Oh, Naga! Yes, I will, for certain people. Not you, Charlie!' Viewers at home wasted no time sharing their reactions on social media after the interview aired. Some commented that they found the interaction 'creepy' with Gary Robinson writing on X that David was 'nothing short of creepy on @BBCBreakfast this morning – national treasure of not'.One viewer went as far as to post 'Poor old sod…time for a nap I think!' with another referring to Sir David as a 'randy old goat', with a fourth person commenting that 'That piece with David Jason was way too long'. X user Ruth Green commented that 'I enjoy David Jason's work, but I had to switch off the interview as it was so embarrassing. Well done to Naga for being dignified.' However, there was some praise for Sir David, 85, with one X user writing, 'Lovely to see Sir David Jason, a great example of decency, hard work and hilarious TV for decades. A bright spot in this programme today.' Others added that 'Sir David Jason is a legend' and that he was an 'absolute delight' The comedy star clearly only had eyes for Naga, issuing a jaunty 'See you later!' as she was left giggling, leaving her co-star Charlie to wrap up proceedings. As well as entertaining with anecdotes from his 60 years in show business, he was also promoting his forthcoming tour, An Evening With Sir David Jason. More Trending This event will see Sir David reflect on his long career, and he'll be joined by special guests. Sir David made quite the impression from the start on the segment, with Charlie commenting that: 'Can I just describe for the viewers who are watching this morning, you make an entrance. 'I was quite impressed. As you came into our studio a moment ago, you were saying hello to everyone. You know how to make an entrance, would that be fair to say?' View More » It was clear to see that the actor was equally impressed with his co-stars, but he only had eyes for one of the presenting duo. Got a story? Today's horoscope for August 14 as Virgo could uncover something interesting
Today's horoscope for August 14 sees one star sign will have a fantastic day for social, family and business communications, while another is told to offer strength and support to those around them It's Thursday, August 14th, and one star sign could uncover something interesting after some quiet delving. There are 12 zodiac signs - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces - and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more. These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From Aries through to Pisces, here's what today could bring for your horoscope - and what you can do to be prepared. Aries (Mar 21 - Apr 20) Ongoing arguments make life difficult. The situation won't change unless someone does something about it. Whether it means ending a commitment and walking away or persuading a colleague to take on additional responsibilities, you need to look at how to bring this matter to an end, once and for all. Taurus (Apr 21 - May 21) You're annoyed because you haven't the time to fit in everything you had planned to do. If you don't complete all that you intended, don't be hard on yourself. You will keep at it tomorrow and the day after until the work gets done. There's no doubt about that. Gemini (May 22 - June 21) You are ready to get started on new plans. These will relate to finances, your job and your current assets. You will also get a chance to be involved in a group project that's focused on children in the community. You have some great ideas and when you feel so enthusiastic you can be very convincing and persuasive. Cancer (June 22 - July 23) You could find yourself talking with someone who is creative, skilful and yet also quite eccentric. Ideas are shared that you will want to consider more fully when you are on your own. A neighbour is drawn to you due to your interest in unusual topics. Leo (July 24 - Aug 23) You will find out something new during a casual conversation. Although someone who loves to gossip will want to prolong a discussion, you will be keen to break away in order to make a few more enquiries about something they happened to say that intrigues you. Virgo (Aug 24 - Sept 23) After some quiet delving you could uncover something interesting. Whereas some people around you are being too open about their intentions, you will take a step back to do some quiet research or discreet learning. It may even be just some online browsing that brings you the answer you are looking for. Libra (Sept 24 - Oct 23) You're listening attentively to what other people are saying, suggesting and planning but you aren't going to reveal your own thoughts. You might need more time to come to a decision or you may already have some hidden plans in the works and you will continue to keep these a secret. Scorpio (Oct 24 - Nov 22) A chat with a woman in a position of authority, either a senior colleague or older relative, could turn out to be quite interesting or unexpected. At least one thing they tell you will take you by surprise. If you are getting involved in a friend's plans later, at least ensure this suits your interests too. Sagittarius (Nov 23 - Dec 21) If you aren't making travel plans you could be looking to start something new in the areas of publishing, law, medicine or higher education. Once you have decided on this, you won't be distracted from your aims. Conversations about shared property and other people's resources are likely to go smoothly. Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 20) You can't complain about being bored when there is so much happening around you. It is your choice as to whether or not to get involved. Even just watching what is going on can be entertaining. It's a good time for learning something new. Talking with an influential person will leave a lasting impression on you. Aquarius (Jan 21 - Feb 19) Discussions and interactions with others will be interesting, insightful and uplifting. People will react positively to your ideas and suggestions. You will want to share more due to their favourable responses. It's a fantastic day for social, family and business communications. Pisces (Feb 20 - Mar 20) Your attention is turning towards the needs of your family and other loved ones. If someone close needs help in organising their finances, health needs or basic routines, you will be happy to assist. Your children and loved ones need your strength and support and you intend to be there for them.
