Top 2026 basketball prospect reportedly schedules visit to Alabama
That prospect is Ikenna Alozie, who, according to Rivals' Joe Tipton, has reportedly scheduled an upcoming official visit to Alabama for the weekend of Sept. 6, the same weekend as the Crimson Tide's game vs. UL Monroe.
Alozie also previously narrowed down his list of finalists to eight back in June, with the Crimson Tide making the cut alongside Arizona, Gonzaga, Houston, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, and Washington.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Alozie is currently ranked as the nation's No. 10 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class, as well as the No. 5 combo guard nationally. A five-star prospect, Alozie is also ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Arizona where he attends Dream City Christian.
Alabama does not currently have a player committed in their 2026 recruiting class.

A returning starter along Alabama's offensive line, Brailsford is back for year two in Tuscaloosa this fall, entering the campaign as one of the top centers in all of college football. One of the players who followed Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer from Washington, Brailsford also returns to Alabama after turning down the NFL draft this past offseason, and as a result, is likely now set for an even better 2025 campaign compared to what was already a strong season a year ago.
