Britain's Got Talent star reveals he underwent life-saving surgery just days before performing in semi-finals
Britain's Got Talent star CJ Emmons shared a heartbreaking admission just days before performing in tonight's semi-finals.
The performer left the audience in tears after sharing he was in hospital receiving life-threatening surgery this week.
Judge guest KSI made his comeback for the fifth and last semi-final, with hosts Ant and Dec announcing he'd been given his own Golden Buzzer, which he used to send through magician Harry Moulding.
For his return, KSI, 31, joined Simon Cowell, 65, Amanda Holden, 54, Alesha Dixon, 46 and Bruno Tonioli, 69, as eight acts battled it out for a chance to win the £250,000 prize and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
After CJ's incredible performance, the audience were left begging the YouTuber to press the Golden Buzzer.

He explained: 'Two weeks ago I was in the hospital receiving life-threatening surgery, and I fought for that, and I'm fighting for this.'
'I want this so bad,' he added.
Fans thought that CJ should have got the Golden Buzzer - but he missed out.
Taking to X, people shared their thoughts on the performance.
One wrote: 'One of the best singers I have ever seen on the show if not the best! This is why the show annoys me. A brilliant act left hoping for a public vote.'
Another penned: 'CJ Emmons that was an epic performance!!! How on earth was he not given the Golden Buzzer?'
A third added: '@CJ_Emmons absolutely PHENOMENAL on BGT tonight ….. you should have won.'
For his performance, Harry appeared to pull a couple from the audience for his illusion.
And it took an emotional turn as a lucky woman named Jess received a surprise proposal from her partner during Harry's act.
While the live audience were left in tears, viewers were quick to question the authenticity of the proposal, as both Jess and her partner already boast a large following on TikTok.
For his performance, Harry appeared to pull Jess from the audience for his illustion, before playing a clip that he'd recorded in Paris, that showed her boyfriend being asked where he would like to get married.
He then replied: 'Here, in Paris,' before making his way onto the stage and getting down on one knee to pop the question.
Quickly accepting the proposal, Jess placed her hands over her mouth in pure shock, with the judging panel so in awe, that Harry received a Golden Buzzer, giving him a spot in the semi-final.
However viewers watching from home weren't quite convinced, with some taking to X to share their thoughts, with others noting Jess already has a large online following.
Posts included: 'Jess has 77k followers on TikTok; And now a 'surprise proposal' from the partner of Jess he randomly met in Paris. Total fix #bgt;'
'#BGT #BritainsGotTalent. F**k right off, do they think the viewers are some sort of mugs or what? Harry, gets 11 minutes for his "Act".. Then gets the f**ing Golden buzzer.. Complete fix, they are all in on it.. Not Magic at all, all completely rehearsed.. And bad acting by Jess.'
But some defended the act, writing: 'Everyone saying that Harry's act was a fix, staged, a set up and that Jess and her boyfriend are actors etc. - you have absolutely *no idea* how illusions work. Just enjoy it for what it is and be happy for the talented guy who delivered it. #bgt;'
'She was amazing, my family knew she would win, plus harry was amazing bless jess for getting proposed to, can't wait to see them in the final.'

Addressing the lack of job security, Lisa revealed in an interview that she's well aware her position on the soap can change at any moment, noting that producer's treat the cast 'like chess pieces' when it comes to the control of their fate. She told The Mirror: 'We are all jobbing actors on the soap and there is never a day where we come in and go: "Oh we are safe". We are a chess piece on the producer's board. Whatever they bring to us, we bring it to the screen. 'And there is always going to be a day when a new producer might come in and need a big wipe out. That is what keeps the audience involved too and so we have to keep up with the climate of what people expect.' Despite sometimes facing job uncertainty, Lisa told how she loves being on the soap as she praised just how hard soap operas work in comparison to other dramas. She added: 'Whenever I am out and about, people tell me: "We love Emmerdale". The fact that I get to be part of it is wonderful. ITV make some big dramas that can be five episodes long. We do five parts in a week. The hamster wheel never stops.' Lisa's talk about episodes comes amid a huge shake-up for both Coronation Street and Emmerdale as episodes have been slashed as ITV budget cuts rage on. During this time, Emmerdale aired six episodes weekly, Monday to Friday with a double bill on Thursdays. Meanwhile, Coronation Street also aired six episodes per week, with two episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Now, only five 30-minute episodes of each show air - a real terms cut to soap broadcast time of 17%. Bosses introduced a soaps power hour from Monday to Friday with 30-minute Emmerdale episodes airing at 8pm and 30-minute Coronation Street episodes airing at 8:30pm. However, each episode will continue to drop at 7am on ITVX before transmission that same evening.
