Nia Jax has revealed the extent of the injury she suffered during her showdown with Tiffany Stratton on Friday night.
On this week's WWE SmackDown in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jax set her sights on ending Stratton's reign as WWE Women's Champion.
The highly anticipated match had fans on edge, with Jax determined to dethrone the rising star and claim the title for herself.
Unfortunately for for the 40-year-old, her bid for the title ended in disappointment - and she left with a gruesome face injury.
Late in the match, Jax tried to use a chair while the referee was distracted, but Stratton dropkicked it into her face with full force, then pinned her for the win.
Jax revealed the extent of her injuries in an Instagram post following the show, where a deep gash above her eye - caused by the chair impact - was clearly visible.
Jax had set her sights on ending Stratton's reign as WWE Women's Champion on Friday
Alongside the photo, she captioned it with, 'Nobody makes me bleed my own blood!'
And Stratton didn't hold back in the comments, swiftly replying with a smirking emoji and the cheeky remark, 'I did.'
The match marked another chapter in the ongoing rivalry between Jax and Stratton, which began on January 3 when the latter cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and dethroned Jax to kick off her championship reign.
For a moment on Friday's show, it seemed as though Jax was on the verge of reclaiming the WWE Women's Championship after making history.
She became the first woman on the main roster to kick out of Tiffany Stratton's Prettiest Moonsault Ever, shifting the momentum in her favor and putting her in a strong position to seal the win.
Just as the match reached its peak, chaos erupted as former champion Naomi charged down the ramp, appearing to target Stratton, but was quickly cut off by Jade Cargill.
The two brawled out of view, leaving the ring action to continue. Jax capitalized on the distraction, crashing down on Stratton in the corner for a close pinfall.
However, Stratton managed to grab the bottom rope at the last second, narrowly keeping her title hopes alive before eventually retaining her title.

Nick Gonzales' walk-off sac fly lifts Pirates past Phillies

June 7 - Nick Gonzales' sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth scored Adam Frazier and lifted the host Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-4 comeback win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night in a game that began late following a one-hour, 23-minute rain delay. Gonzales' walk-off RBI secured the Pirates their first win over Philadelphia this season. The Phillies played without Bryce Harper, who was not in the lineup due to a sore right wrist. The Pirates loaded the bases with no outs in the ninth on a single by Frazier, a bloop single to center by Jared Triolo and a perfectly executed bunt single by Isiah Kiner-Falefa that rolled up the third base line slowly and stopped. Phillies reliever Jordan Romano (0-3) struck out Oneil Cruz, but Gonzales lifted a fly ball that landed in the glove of Max Kepler on the warning track, allowing Frazier to walk home with the Pirates' second win in the past three games. Frazier led the Pirates at the plate with three hits while Bryan Reynolds and Henry Davis each had two hits, a home run and two RBIs. Trea Turner led the Phillies with three hits and two RBIs. The Pirates and Phillies matched each other to a 4-4 stalemate after four innings. Turner singled and then came around to score two batters later on a Nick Castellanos groundout to give the Phillies a 1-0 lead. Pittsburgh answered in the bottom half when Gonzales tripled and scored on an RBI single by Reynolds. Tied at 2 in the top of the fourth, Turner drove in two more runs on a single off reliever Chase Shugart, which scored J.T. Realmuto and Edmundo Sosa. Shugart had just relieved Pirates starter Bailey Falter, who matched his shortest outing of the season, pitching 3 2/3 innings. Falter allowed four runs on five hits and two walks and struck out two on 65 pitches. But the Pirates picked up their starter, scoring two in the bottom half of the fourth inning on Davis' two-run home run. Davis entered the game in the third inning after Endy Rodriguez left the game with right elbow discomfort. Pirates reliever David Bednar (1-4) struck out the side in the ninth to keep the game tied. --Field Level Media

'It's been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it's been a ride.' Garcelle also explained that one of the reasons for her leaving RHOBH was to be able to spend more time with her children Oliver, Jax and Jaid. 'And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting, and I can't tell you anything right now, but you'll know soon.' The TV personality then teased that there was always the possibility of her return and that she 'might pop back in some time.' Zoe is no stranger to the world of reality television and appeared in her own show called The Rachel Zoe Project - which followed both her personal life and career as a fashion designer. In conclusion, the star added, 'With love and gratitude - Rachel & Rodger.' Despite being in the spotlight to attend events in the industry, working with celebrities in the past and preparing for her Bravo return - Rachel has admitted to being an 'introvert.' While talking to Who What Wea r back in 2023, the star explained, 'Although I have built my career as an extrovert who thrives off meeting interesting, dynamic people and constantly being in large social gatherings, one thing that I think people might not know about me is that I am an introvert.' She added, that she is 'very much a homebody' and 'always prefers to be at home' with her family. In regards to what Rachel wants her 'legacy' to be, the designer said, 'If I could leave behind the notion of living a glamorous life, whatever that means to you, then I think that is a win for me. 'Trying to help women live their absolute best lives - whether that is how to entertain or how you walk out the door, approaching your life in the best manner. 'And helping them live their best lives in the most glamorous way - is what I want people to take from my work.'
