
SCCI celebrate 26 partakers graduating from 'Business Leadership'

draft strategic plans and innovative solutions in work environments, and cultivate future-oriented organisational cultures.
The ceremony was attended by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI; Mohammad Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI;
and
Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for the Support Services Sector at SCCI, along with representatives from the participating government entities.
The second edition of the programme attracted high-potential talents from both government and private sectors. Its training modules covered key areas, including business psychology, artificial intelligence (AI) in
next-generation institutional leadership, design thinking in challenge management, innovative strategy development,
risk management techniques, creative institution design, and organisational innovation.
In his remarks, Abdallah Sultan Al Owais
said that the Strategic Business Leadership Programme aims to produce a new cadre of qualified leaders, reflecting the fundamental shifts in institutional leadership concepts.
'Digital technologies require unconventional leadership capabilities. Accordingly, the Sharjah Chamber adopts an advanced leadership development framework focused on adaptability and continuous growth, equipping leaders to merge practical experience with contemporary management knowledge,' he added.

oted that the programme was designed to offer a comprehensive educational experience combining theoretical content with applied practice. It featured workshops led by accredited international experts and practical capstone projects.
She added that the programme concluded with a field study tour to Spain in collaboration with the University of Salamance, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore global best practices and gain hands-on experience and global insights that will enhance their careers and strengthen their leadership skills.
The graduation ceremony featured a visual presentation outlining the programme's milestones and the comprehensive training offered to participants.
The programme integrated academic insights from renowned global institutions with hands-on learning through workshops and project work. This approach underscored the programme's value in equipping participants with both theoretical expertise and practical leadership competencies.
The ceremony concluded with Abdallah Sultan Al Owais and Maryam Saif Al Shamsi honouring the programme's participants, representing the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) and other government and private entities operating in Sharjah.
Participants were awarded the 'Certified Internal Consultant' certificate, formally recognising their entry into Sharjah's distinguished community of business leaders and strategic decision-makers.

The figure, which is derived from a count of digital artefacts discovered during scans of servers running vulnerable versions of Microsoft's SharePoint software, compares to 100 organisations catalogued over the Security says the figure is likely an undercount. "There are many more, because not all attack vectors have left artefacts that we could scan for," said Vaisha Bernard, the chief hacker for Eye Security, which was among the first organisations to flag the spy campaign kicked off after Microsoft failed to fully patch a security hole in its SharePoint server software, kicking off a scramble to fix the vulnerability when it was discovered. The details of most of the victim organisations have not yet been fully disclosed. Bernard declined to identify them.

Bain & Company announces senior leadership appointments in its Enterprise Technology practice
Bain & Company today announced senior leadership changes within its global Enterprise Technology (ET) practice, which supports the firm's clients worldwide in delivering accelerated business transformations by leveraging the most advanced technology platforms and solutions. With the rapidly evolving role of AI and fundamental technology innovations fueling tech-driven change across industries, Bain is continuing to see strong growth in client demand for its deep technology expertise. Tech- and AI-enabled revenue already accounts for more than 30% of the firm's business and is expected to reach half of revenues in coming years. The firm's new Enterprise Technology practice leadership team will play a pivotal role in the continuing development of its ET capabilities and its broader tech-related support for clients. Bain announced today that Pascal Gautheron will take over as the global leader of its Enterprise Technology practice, succeeding Stephen Phillips, who has headed the firm's global ET team for the past seven years.
