Brits run to buy 'scrumptious' Yorkshire Tea bags inspired by beloved dessert
If there is one thing us Brits will never get enough of, it's a good cup of tea. While a classic cuppa never goes amiss, sometimes it can be fun to change it up and try something new. While you might opt for a herbal tea like camomile, peppermint or green, you can also enjoy some more fun flavours too.
Recently, Yorkshire Tea launched an exciting new tea bag flavour, inspired by a beloved dessert. It comes after the company's Jam on Toast tea bags were a hit. Unlike the classic green box with a red banner on it, the new tea bag flavour comes in a bright pink box - and your brew will taste like cherry Bakewell.
Taylors of Harrogate, the maker of Yorkshire Tea, says the new tea offers sweet, jammy, and almondy loveliness. A pack of 40 is available at Morrisons now for £2.50, or you can get two packs for £4.50 up until July 22.
The description of the product states: "Here's a scrumptious tea that tastes like a Cherry Bakewell. Why? Because tea and cake were born to be together - so when you taste them both at the same time, you know it's something special. A Yorkshire Brew with that sweet, jammy, almondy loveliness is just the ticket."
People have rushed to shared their thoughts on the new tea. It comes after a picture of the product was shared on popular food page, New Foods UK, recently. The post, which was shared both on Instagram and Facebook, said: "New Cherry Bakewell tea bags spotted at Morrisons."
One individual who approves of the tea bags, said: "I got some of these on Tuesday - they're so good! I really miss @yorkshiretea Toast and Jam tea but these are a delicious replacement."
"Why the hell not," said another on Instagram. "You'd like this I bet," added another as they tagged a friend. "I need to try," insisted one other.
"I miss the Jam on Toast but I'm sure these will be as good," said one other who loves trying the different flavoured teas.
"Yes, can't wait to try," insisted one other. "I'm going to try them," added one other.
This is not the first time that Yorkshire Tea has experimented with its flavours after previously launching Caramelised Biscuit Brew flavoured tea, which can be purchased from Sainsbury's and Morrisons for £2.50. Yorkshire Tea also sells a Bedtime Brew with vanilla and nutmeg for the same price.

Stacey Solomon shares emotional family update after heartbreaking news
Stacey Solomon shared an emotional update with her fans after a tough few months for her family as they struggled to help one member get through a devastating health development Stacey Solomon shared an emotional update with her followers after a heartbreaking health condition struck one of her family. The TV host previously revealed in April that her dog Teddy had to have surgery after discovering he has a "predisposed condition". She shared with her followers on Instagram at the time that he had become "suddenly unwell" prior to the procedure. Then in May Stacey, 35, confirmed that Spaniel, Teddy, had returned home but he had suffered a burst disc and "lost the use of his back legs". Then last month she updated her fans further confirming that it was "likely" that he will "never get the feeling back" in his legs. She added that he will also need help emptying his bladder and walking. Now in her latest update Stacey has debuted Teddy's new way of getting around since developing the devastating condition. Posting a video of him with his assisted wheels she shared her delight at seeing him able too run and play again. She wrote, "Our Darling Teddy has his wheels. We have spent the last few days trying to teach teddy a new way of getting around & he's finally learning to love his wheels. He was very nervous at first but seeing him today walking around with peanut again was so special. "We have spoken to our vet & have bought teddy some wheels. If we are doing anything wrong please be kind. This is a totally new journey for us & we are doing our best to give teddy the best life he can possibly have so just let us know if you have any tips." She continued, "Teddy you've been such an amazing boy. We know your whole world has turned upside down but you've been so calm and patient and we hope we are giving you the second chance that you deserve. To the moon & back Teddy." Stacey and husband Joe Swash originally rescued Teddy as a companion for their other dog, Peanut. When they first learned of his condition she told fans at the time: "Our darling Teddy. Teddy became suddenly unwell on Thursday. It turns out he has a predisposed condition we had no idea about as he was a rescue." Stacey continued: "He has been operated on by incredible vets and the next 3-4 days are crucial for him to get through, even then, he might not ever fully recover. We are praying and hoping so hard that he pulls through & that we can care for him in the best way we possibly can to give him the best life he can have." She concluded the original post by sharing her family's devastation over the situation. She wrote: "We are all truly devastated. He is the sweetest, most protective, loving dog. He's our family. And far too young to be going through this." In a message to Teddy, she said: "We love you Ted. So so much. Pickle cottage is far too quiet without you. I miss my toilet buddy. Peanut is so sad without his best friend."

Lisa Stelly was married to Ozzy 's son Jack from 2012 to 2019, and is mother to their children Pearl, Andy and Minnie. The 39-year-old food decorating business owner shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, in which she posted a number of rare family snaps of her kids with their grandad; The Prince of Darkness. The massive show took place at Villa Park, in the band's hometown of Birmingham on Saturday, July 5. Ozzy, who had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, had been struggling to deal with his health issues in the months leading up to the 42,000 capacity event. But long term friend Steve Jones, of the Sex Pistols, said he was determined to make his farewell appearance a show to remember. He described his pal as a "pioneer", recalling his humour and how important his final gig was to him. Reflecting on his death, he said: 'I knew Oz, he was a legend and he was brilliant. Ozzy, I think I would've probably wanted to go if my life was physically like his.' Ozzy spoke about his health on his SiriusXM radio show, explaining: "I have made it to 2025. I can't walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I'm still alive." He added: 'I may be moaning that I can't walk but I look down the road and there's people that didn't do half as much as me and didn't make it." Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon told RadioX that he has daily physio to try to preserve his muscle, telling the music station: "He's fine... as fine as you can be with Parkinson's." Ozzy's widow, 72, and four of his children, Kelly, 40, Jack, 39, Aimee, 41, and Louis, 50, shared a statement to confirm the news of his death. It read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time."

Inside Stacey Solomon's Pickle Cottage STACEY Solomon splashed out a massive £1.2million on Pickle Cottage - and Joe Swash didn't put in a penny. She solely stumped up the cash for their Tudor-style Essex property, which is set in 2.5 acres and boasts an outdoor swimming pool. Shrewd Stacey has shown she's a dab hand at running a wide range of successful businesses including TV, books, clothing and homeware ranges. Her main firm Key Map Entertainments is worth just shy of £3million - and she's also branched out into cosmetics. The former X Factor contestant registered the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her youngest two daughters. They currently have their own fly-on-the-wall BBC reality series, titled Stacey and Joe. Viewers have already seen the ex EastEnders actor break down in a candid chat with his wife while discussing the challenges he's faced with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Stacey previously confessed viewers would see 'domestics' between her and Joe. And this proved to be true, as the pair were seen clashing on screen over parenting issues. 6 Earlier this year, the family feared Teddy would not survive his ordeal Credit: Instagram 6 Stacey husband Joe Swash and their family live at the stunning Pickle Cottage Credit: Instagram
