Govinda Visits ISKCON On Janmashtami, Enjoys Dahi Handi With Eknath Shinde
On Janmashtami, Govinda visited ISKCON temple in Juhu for darshan, then joined Eknath Shinde and Sharad Kelkar at a lively Dahi Handi celebration.
Just like everyone, celebs are also celebrating the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. To celebrate the day, the actor first visited the ISKCON temple and later went to attend the Dahi Handi celebration in the city with Eknath Shinde and actor Sharad Kelkar.

In the videos that are now going viral on social media, Govinda can be seen celebrating the auspicious occasion. In the clip, he visited the ISKCON temple wearing a red kurta-pyjama paired with a beige shawl around his neck. The actor was snapped stepping out of his car before entering the temple in Juhu, taking darshan, and later interacting with the pandits and other members at the temple before he headed back.

Later in the day, Govinda went to attend the Dahi Handi celebration where he was seen enjoying with Eknath Shinde, Sharad Kelkar, and others. In the video, he can be seen shaking a leg in his iconic style as his fans cheer for him and record him. In the midst of heavy rains, Govinda looked unbothered in a comfy black T-shirt paired with matching jeans.

Govinda's last appearance was back in 2019 with the film Rangeela Raja, co-starring Shakti Kapoor, Digangana Suryavanshi, Prem Chopra, and others.
In the meantime, Govinda caught headlines when he asserted that acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron approached him for the lead role in his superhit drama Avatar. He even claimed that the director had offered him a massive fee for the role, which he rejected.
Later, Sunita Ahuja, his wife, reacted to these claims on Uorfi Javed's YouTube channel. Replying to this, Sunita shared, 'Arey yaar, mujhe toh nahi pata yeh kab offer hui. 40 saal toh mujhe ho gaye hain Govinda ke saath. Woh Avatar ka director-producer kab aaya, mujhe nahi malum." (Oh man, I have no idea when the film was offered. I have been with Govinda for the last 40 years, and even I don't know when that Avatar director-producer came to offer the movie.)

The sneak peek is packed with high energy drama, stylish visuals and action that instantly grabs attention. The project has already created a strong buzz, especially with actor Lakshya in the lead, who earlier garnered praise for his performance in Kill. But while the spotlight is on Khan's big step into filmmaking, many are also curious about the show's leading lady, Sahher Bambba. Who Is Sahher Bambba? While the upcoming series may feel like a new beginning for her, it's not actually her first acting project. Sahher has already shown her skills in the entertainment world. Bambba made her acting debut in the 2019 film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, where she appeared opposite Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol. She later starred in popular web shows like The Empire and Dil Bekaraar, where audiences witnessed her acting talent.
