House of The Vivienne launches in Colwyn Bay in memory of star
The group is led by Chanel Williams, sister of the late James Lee Williams - better known to millions as The Vivienne - and her family.

The first-ever winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK, James died in January this year at the age of 32, following a cardiac arrest caused by the effects of taking ketamine.
It was a devastating loss for family, friends, and the LGBTQ+ community, and one that Chanel is determined will help spark awareness and change.
The Vivienne and Chanel (Image: Submitted) 'Ketamine is an extremely dangerous drug that is becoming more and more prevalent in the UK,' said Chanel.
'There's still a stigma around ketamine use, and that's costing lives. We want to break that stigma and create a place where people feel safe to say: I need help.'
Chanel and her family, working in partnership with The Sanctuary Trust, Adferiad, and local substance abuse charities, are beginning this campaign in their hometown of Colwyn Bay, with plans to expand nationwide.
James and Chanel (Image: Submitted) The Vivienne, who grew up in the seaside resort and attended Rydal Penrhos before moving to Liverpool, became a household name after winning the first series of Drag Race UK in 2019.
They later made history as the only UK queen to compete on Drag Race All Stars in the US.
Throughout their career, James never shied away from discussing their past ketamine addiction, using their platform to highlight its dangers and the hope of recovery.
'James brought sparkle and joy wherever they went,' said Chanel.
Ty Enfys (Image: Submitted) 'But they also knew the darkness of addiction. That's why House of The Vivienne isn't just about telling people to stop - it's about meeting them where they are, without judgement, and showing them there's a way forward.
'Whether you're using, in recovery, or worried about someone you love, you are welcome here.'
Ketamine, a powerful anaesthetic with legitimate medical uses, has increasingly been misused as a recreational drug, particularly among younger people.
Its dangers are often underestimated, but long-term use can lead to severe bladder damage, memory problems, and in some cases, death.
House of The Vivienne offers a warm, understanding space for anyone affected by addiction - whether to ketamine, alcohol, or other substances.
The doors to the safe space will open every Tuesday and a listening and understanding ear will be provided. Sessions will run from 5pm–7pm.
'This is for anyone who feels alone,' Chanel added.
'James would want you to know you matter, your life matters, and there is help.
"There is always hope.'

Celeb SAS star Lucy Spraggan reveals exact moment she knew her vulva ‘ripped'
Lucy Spraggan has revealed the horrific details of a gruesome injury she sustained while on Celebrity SAS. Last week, Lucy revealed that she ripped her labia while appearing on the current series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The 34-year-old's wound was caused by a harness during a stunt and due to the level of bleeding and intensity of the show, she recalled her 'dignity had gone' when the doctor came over to inspect her. Shetold The Sun: 'I ripped my labia – it was bad.' 'That's not a common injury. Actually, genuinely, that's never been the same, so much so I'm having some surgery soon to correct it,' she said, adding that she suspected the harness was 'too tight'. In a new interview with LadBible, she explained that she was bungee jumping off a viaduct, and the incident happened after she was in free fall for five seconds and came to a halt. 'You hit that sort of lowest point, obviously there's quite a lot of like 'yank' and I knew that my harness was, in a bit of an odd position, but you've got so much adrenaline when stuff like that's happening, you can't really be like, 'Oh, can I just move this?'' She added that she knew immediately something was wrong: 'I knew straight away that, like, that was a sincere amount of pain and it was f***ing sincere pain. 'In midair, I was trying to, like, pull on the rope, so like to pull up to relieve some of the tension, in the harness.' She said that once the task was over, she took herself to some bushes to check out the extent of the injury. 'I looked and there was just blood and I was like 'oh s**t'. The doctor, she was behind me, and she came up to me and was like 'Lucy, are you okay?' 'I turned around, and I sort of like, had my hands and she was like 'Oh my God. I thought it was your leg'.' Lucy also emphasised that she found it shocking how much people cared about her injury, particularly given that men frequently complain about their testicles. 'I just think that it's kind of crazy that men are always like, 'Oh, my balls, my balls, my balls,' the second that a woman is like, I've got a vulva [it's a big news story].' Sadly for poor Lucy, this vulva tear wasn't the only injury the star suffered during filming for the series; she also almost knocked a tooth out, fainted and landed face-first in the sea after attempting to jump from a helicopter into a boat. More Trending This left her with a black eye for her wedding day in June 2024 and forced her to have filler from under her eye dissolved after she 'hit the sea so hard my filler migrated to the side of my face'. This year's series was shot in Wales, the home of the first phase of SAS selection in real life. Remaining participants being guided through gruelling challenges by the elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers, Chief Instructor Billy Billingham and his team of Directing Staff (DS) – Foxy (Jason Fox), Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver – include Traitors winner Harry Clark, Rebecca Loos, Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon-Boulash, former Love Islander Adam Collard and former footballer Troy Deeney. Grantchester fans 'speechless' as they spot huge clue James Norton will return
James Norton has been spotted on the set of Grantchester, sparking speculation he is set to reprise his role as Sidney Chambers for the show's final series Grantchester fans may have said goodbye to Sidney Chambers six years ago, but there's a chance that star James Norton could return to the ITV drama for its final series. Fans have gone wild on social media after spotting a huge clue that the 40-year-old will reprise his iconic role as the detective drama comes to an end. The TV star was spotted on the crime drama's set last week, with filming taking place in Cambridge. In photos obtained by the Daily Star, James was seen having a chinwag with show favourite Rishi Nair, who portrays Reverend Alpheus "Alphy" Kotteram. James' presence on set has ignited rumours that he is reprising his role as vicar Sidney Chambers for the programme's final series. It's been six years since he left to concentrate on other ventures and fans have been eagerly awaiting his return. It comes after Grantchester axed after 11 years as ITV drama films emotional final series. The Hollywood actor was donning a pink baseball cap and a green shirt as he reunited with his former co-stars. He also embraced Al Weaver, who has portrayed Leonard Finch in the series. A telly insider told the publication: "It looks like James will be involved in the last series of Grantchester. If he's reprising his role, it will go down a storm with fans." "James is now one of the biggest stars on TV so having him back on the show would be a big draw for viewers. Ratings would go through the roof." Fans quickly took to social media to celebrate James' appearance on set, with one writing: "James in grantchester im speechless." Another said: "James norton stuns as sidney chambers is resurrected and returns to grantchester." A third was hoping that he would appear alongside current star Rishi Naur on screen, writing: "HOT PRIESTS (PLURAL)." Another replied: "Both of them on screen together pls." Grantchester is wrapping up with its 11th series despite being a ratings hit for ITV. Fans were gutted when the news was announced last month. Actor Robson Green, who has portrayed DI Geordie Keating since the programme launched in 2014, offered a touching farewell to his fellow cast members. He revealed: "I have had the incredible fortune to be part of this extraordinary team of talented, passionate, and dedicated individuals who have become more than colleagues. They have become family. "I have made friendships forged through shared laughter, challenges, and triumphs. The bonds we've formed extend far beyond the camera lens, and I know that they will endure long after the final scene within the Grantchester world has been filmed." Green expressed that it had "been an honour to share in the magic of Grantchester" and that he remained "forever grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the love". He added: "Emma Kingsman Lloyd [executive producer] and Daisy Coulam [writer and series creator], from that very first day you gave me the extraordinary opportunity to be part of this experience." Nair commented: "It's been the greatest honour to step into the world of Grantchester and be part of a show with so much heart." Robson will return for the concluding series alongside fellow performers including Tessa Peake-Jones and Kacey Ainsworth. ITV's director of drama Polly Hill and drama commissioner Callum Dziedzic stated: "It's rare to create a series with such enduring warmth, wit, and heart, as Daisy, Emma, and the brilliant team have done with Grantchester. "This final series marks the end of a golden chapter for ITV drama, and we know audiences will treasure this last summer in Grantchester as much as we will."
