The ultimate guide for the best iced coffee spots in Dubai for your morning caffeine run

'This is a jumbo-coffee morning. I need coffee in an IV.' — Lorelai Gilmore
This quote resonates with people who work 9-5 on most mornings. How else is one supposed to get through the eight hours of a work day? With a morning shot of caffeine, that's how.
With the UAE weather making it almost impossible to enjoy a hot cappucino or americano in the AM, it's iced-coffee-to-the-rescue season. Plus, it almost feels like a treat you're buying for yourself as a reward for adulting in this prickly heat.
When it comes to iced coffees, not every place can make the cut. It has to be the perfect decoction of the espresso shot, milk of choice, ice and flavouring — no element can overpower the other. Coffee lovers will agree.
After trying and testing a couple of popular joints in Dubai, we've curated a list of the best iced coffee spots that you can pit stop at before head to work. Some elements we looked at while curating this list was checking the quality of the espresso used, the ice to coffee ratio, the value for price, and of course, how cute does the delivery cup look. UAE shines in global safety rankings with Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Sharjah among top 10
Abu Dhabi has been ranked as the safest city in the world for 2025, marking the ninth consecutive year that it has held this title since 2017. This achievement is a testament to the emirate's ongoing commitment to implementing advanced security plans, strategies, and initiatives. In the same Numbeo ranking, Ajman was ranked second globally. Meanwhile, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah were among the top 10 safest cities in the world. Abu Dhabi tops the list as the safest city to walk alone at night, scoring 87 out of 100, according to a recent global study by UK-based long-haul travel specialist Travelbag. With its modern infrastructure, well-lit streets, and low crime rates, it provides a secure environment for both residents and visitors. The city's strong public safety measures make it ideal for confident nighttime exploration, especially around landmarks like the beautifully illuminated Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Taipei, Taiwan, ranks second with a safety score of 85 for walking alone at night. Known for its clean streets, good lighting, and low crime, the city's lively night markets and urban areas are safe for locals and tourists alike. Visitors especially enjoy Taipei 101 after dark, when the iconic tower is beautifully lit and offers stunning nighttime views. New York leads as the most scenic city at night, boasting 40,800 Instagram hashtags, a safety score of 46, and 2,302 late-night venues, making it a favourite destination for night owls. Muscat ranks number one for stargazing, with a light pollution score of 30 and a pollution index of 10.0, offering pristine desert skies and minimal artificial light. Singapore ranks as the most scenic city in Southeast Asia, with 16,500 Instagram hashtags highlighting its vibrant and dynamic nightlife. The survey results revealed that 93.6 per cent of residents felt safe walking alone at night, reflecting the emirate's continued recognition as the world's safest city in 2025, according to global indicators. The Happiness Indicator also recorded an increase, reaching 7.74 out of 10, compared to 7.63 in the third cycle.

UAE Eid Al Etihad 2025 plans revealed: Fireworks, drone shows and a long weekend await
As the UAE prepares to mark its 54th National Day, the excitement is palpable. This year, the occasion—proudly known as Eid Al Etihad (Festival of the Union)—promises to be bigger, bolder, and more dazzling than ever. From breathtaking fireworks to cutting-edge drone displays, Abu Dhabi is set to come alive with a fusion of heritage, technology, and pure spectacle. Every year on December 2, the UAE commemorates the historic unification of the seven emirates in 1971. But this isn't just a public holiday—it's a nationwide celebration of Emirati pride, ambition, and the diverse communities that call the UAE home. This year, residents can look forward to a four-day weekend, with December 2 and 3 officially designated as public holidays. And if the holiday begins on December 1, there's even a chance of a five-day break, making it the perfect opportunity for a staycation or a quick getaway. What's in store for Eid Al Etihad 2025? While the full lineup is still under wraps, past celebrations offer a glimpse of what to expect. The main event, taking place on Tuesday, December 2, will be held at a yet-to-be-revealed iconic location—much like last year's stunning celebration at Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, which showcased the UAE's heritage and futuristic vision. Highlights to Look Forward To: Fireworks Extravaganza: The skies over Abu Dhabi will illuminate in the national colors, with spectacular displays expected at Yas Island, the Corniche, and other key location. Drone Shows: A staple of UAE National Day, these synchronized aerial performances will likely feature even more advanced storytelling and visuals. Cultural Performances & Parades: From traditional dances to immersive heritage showcases, free public events will bring the streets of Abu Dhabi to life. Star-Studded Concerts: Previous years have featured both local and international artists. Exclusive Shopping & Dining Deals: Major discounts are expected across malls, hotels, and restaurants, particularly in hotspots like Yas Bay, Saadiyat Island, and The Galleria. Traffic Fine Discounts & Free Parking: Following last year's 50% reduction on fines in some emirates, could we see a repeat? Plus, free public parking in Abu Dhabi is highly anticipated. How to Make the Most of the Holiday With December 2 and 3 as official days off, strategic annual leave could turn this into a **nine-day break** (if taken from **December 1 to December 9**). Whether it's a luxury staycation, a desert retreat, or a road trip across the Emirates, the long weekend is the perfect time to unwind and celebrate. A Month-Long Celebration of Unity Eid Al Etihad isn't just a one-day affair—it's a month-long tribute to the UAE's journey. Buildings will be adorned in the national colors, Emirati music will fill the air, and communities will come together in a vibrant display of unity. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images: Instagram & Feature Image: Instagram @queenrania
