Hunter Biden: F--- George Clooney
Mr Biden criticised the Academy Award winner for withdrawing his support for his father Joe Biden during the 2024 presidential race.
'F‑‑‑ him. F‑‑‑ him. F‑‑‑ him and everybody around him,' Hunter Biden told YouTube journalist, Andrew Callaghan during an interview on his 'Channel 5'.
'I don't have to be f‑‑‑ing nice. No. 1, I agree with Quentin Tarantino. F‑‑‑ing George Clooney is not a f‑‑‑ing actor. He is a f‑‑‑ing, like… I don't know what he is. He is a brand.'
Hunter was referring to remarks by director Tarantino in which he said Clooney was not a 'movie star'.
Clooney wrote a New York Times op-ed last July highlighting Joe Biden's mental decline and urging him to pull out of the race against Donald Trump. The piece contributed to the pressure which ultimately led Joe Biden to step down.
Elsewhere in the interview, Hunter revealed that he bought crack near the White House during Mr Trump's first term as president.
Hunter, 55, said he purchased the drugs in Washington DC's Lincoln Park after admitting to his doctor that he had begun drinking again shortly after his brother Beau died of cancer.
'I know it to be…sometimes an open air drug market, and I saw someone that I knew from my past life as being on the streets, a woman that I referred to as Bicycles, and I knew that it was kind of a suicidal thought,' he told Mr Callaghan.
'I said: 'Do you got any crack?' She sold me crack. And that was it.'
The interview was published on the one-year anniversary of his father's withdrawal from the race for the White House.
In the three-hour conversation, Hunter spoke candidly about his drug use, addressed criticism of his father from both Republicans and Democrats and shared his thoughts on Mr Trump's border crackdown, comparing it to Nazi Germany.
The president's son dismissed claims that he acted as a de facto chief of staff to his father as one of a number of 'conspiracies' spread about him.
The allegations are contained in Original Sin, a recently-published book by CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios's Alex Thompson, chronicling the former president's mental decline and aides' attempts to cover it up.
Responding to suggestions that he played a key decision role in the Biden administration, Hunter said: 'I think I spent 12 days in the White House in the last two years of the administration. I had a lot of other things going on.'
Hunter has frequently clashed with Mr Tapper.
The former president's son also hit out at Democratic commentators David Axelrod and Rahm Emmanuel, claiming that they want the Left to 'turn away from all values' on the issue of immigration.
The two Democrats, who worked in the Obama administration, were critical of Joe Biden's decision to run for a second term.
'These guys think that we need to turn away from all values in order for us to lead.'
'I would threaten to invade El Salvador'
If he were president, he would threaten to invade El Salvador in order to free US deportees detained there, Hunter said.
'I would pick up the phone and call the f—ing president of El Salvador and say, you either f—ing send them back or I'm going to f—ing invade,' he said.
Hunter said any migrant who goes to extreme lengths to get into the country 'deserves to be an American'.
Addressing his drug addiction, which spiralled out of control between 2016 and 2019, when he got clean, Hunter said he was drinking a bottle of vodka a day and began to make his own crack cocaine.
Asked how he sourced the drug, he said: 'One of the things I don't want to do is give a how-to to any moron like myself that may think that it's a good idea.'
Having tried his first drink before high school and begun experimenting with drugs in his teenage years, the former president's son said that during his period of full-blown addiction, he was 'smoking anything that even remotely resembled crack cocaine'.
'I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone,' he joked.
Hunter denied that a bag of cocaine found in the White House in 2023 during his father's presidency was his, after the FBI opened an investigation into the matter.
'I have been clean and sober since June of 2019. I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug, and I'm incredibly proud of that,' he said. 'Why would I bring cocaine into the White House and stick it into a cubby outside of the situation room in the West Wing?'
The discovery of the illicit substance fuelled rumours among Maga supporters that Hunter was responsible.

Brooke Hogan's emotional way of remembering her late dad Hulk after bitter family feud
Hulk Hogan 's daughter Brooke has remembered her father in an emotional way despite their estrangement and bitter family feud. Earlier this week on Thursday, the WWE icon passed away at the age of 71 after going into cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. But months before his sudden death, Brooke gave birth to twins in January - a boy and a girl - and her daughter's moniker has a sweet tribute to Hogan, a source told TMZ in an article published on Friday. Her daughter's full name is Molly Gene Olesky - with the middle name being the same as the late wrestler's. Although Brooke, 37, and Hulk had a tumultuous relationship for years, insiders informed the outlet that she still cared for her father. TMZ reported that both she and husband Steven Olesky had moved down to Florida in order to be closer to Hogan, but they never had the chance to strengthen their bond. Hulk welcomed Brooke as well as son Nick, 34, with ex-wife Linda - whom he was married to from 1983 to 2009. He later tied the knot with Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 until their divorce in 2021. Two years later, the WWE legend said 'I do' to Sky Daily and the pair were married up until his death on Thursday. Brooke learned of her father's passing when Nick reached out to her husband Steven to share the devastating news. Olesky - who is a former NHL player - later broke his silence on his father-in-law's death by commenting on a friend's tribute to the wrestler and wrote: 'Thank you for the love and support for my beautiful wife. 'We are incredibly lucky to have you in our lives - not just during this challenging time, but always.' Brooke and her father last spoke nearly two years earlier in September 2023 only weeks before he married Sky. On that call, Brooke expressed love and concern for her father - telling him that he shouldn't be working so hard due to his declining health. Despite her pleas for him to enjoy more of his life, those requests fell on deaf ears. The pair didn't speak again. The outlet also claims that Hulk apologized to Brooke on the call, but it wasn't clear what that apology was for. TMZ also reported this week that Brooke was concerned with what was going on in Hulk's life and was protective of him. However, their relationship wasn't reparable. Despite multiple attempts from her husband to fix their relationship, including when Brooke almost died in childbirth, Hulk 'responded coldly and never made an effort to meet Brooke's kids,' per TMZ. The outlet added that Hulk seemingly 'only wanted a relationship with her under his terms.' Back in April, exclusively revealed that Hogan was 'heartbroken' about his ongoing family feud - specifically with Brooke. 'The massive uphill battle might finally be taking place,' an inside source stated. 'Hogan is finally hearing and listening to those that have been thrown in different directions by his behavior. He is looking to make up for past bad decisions.' While it's said that Hogan wanted to stay as 'far away from Linda as possible', our source added: 'He's heartbroken that he doesn't have a relationship with his daughter and would love someday to rectify that. 'As this current drama has occurred and all the s*** that he has gone through piles on to itself, he is finally looking to see if he can make amends and help rather than hurt. 'He knows that many will think it is a boy who cried wolf situation, and it will be hard to trust him - but he is looking to do the work.' The insider added, 'Nothing will be overnight but now that his daughter and his ex-wife have said their things, he is taking it to heart and hopefully it will lead to a change for the better.' Hulk's reputation was damaged in the mid-2000s in a leaked audio recording when discussing how a Black man was interesting in bankrolling Brooke's attempt at a music career. Hogan told a family friend: 'I don't know if Brooke was f***ing the black guy's son... I mean, I don't have double standards. 'I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f***ing n******. But then when it comes to nice people and s***, and whatever.' He continued: 'I mean, I'd rather if she was going to f*** some n*****, I'd rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we're all a little racist. F***ing n*****.' Brooke wasn't the only one the wrestling legend had issues with. In recent months, his ex-wife Linda lashed out at Hulk - calling him a 'complete liar [and] a sex addict' who had left their family in the 'worst mess.' But just days before his death, Linda paid a special tribute to Hulk on Instagram as she shared a throwback photo of the pair from the 80s. In the caption, she had written: 'The good old days!' After Hogan's death was announced, his widow Sky broke her silence and penned to Instagram on Friday: 'I wasn't ready for this... and my heart is in pieces. 'He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.' She added, 'This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend... but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart. 'Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.' Daily concluded with, 'He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he's been welcomed home. Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.' Before his death, Hogan had undergone neck surgery and Sky claimed that his heart was 'strong' amid claims he was on his deathbed in a coma. The late star's rep also expressed in a statement, 'He's had problems with his back for years but there's no emergency.' A source told that the WWE icon was trying to get back to '100 percent' following both neck and back surgeries. 'Hulk has a body ravaged by wrestling, his body is the body of a 140-year-old man with all the bumps and bruises through the years, and his recent neck and back surgeries have been harder to come back from,' the insider said.

US rejigs duty status of military personnel assisting in immigration
July 25 (Reuters) - The Trump administration has brought some 1,700 military personnel under the command of state governors to help with the administration's immigration law enforcement mission, the Pentagon said on Friday. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the service status of 1,200 personnel, who were already assisting with the mission, was changed to Title 32 from Title 10 and an additional 500 personnel were authorized to help with the immigration effort. "Through active planning and collaboration with our ICE partners, the Department determined that specific operational needs may require direct interaction with individuals in ICE custody," leading to this reevaluation of military personnel duty status, Parnell said in a statement.

CK Hutchison ports deal deadline likely to be extended as geopolitics weigh, sources say
HONG KONG, July 25 (Reuters) - CK Hutchison's ( opens new tab plan to sell most of its $22.8 billion ports business is unlikely to be finalised anytime soon, with political brinkmanship set to continue, and sources saying that a Sunday deadline for exclusive talks was likely to be extended. The Hong Kong conglomerate's plan to sell the business, which would include two ports along the strategically important Panama Canal, to a consortium led by BlackRock (BLK.N), opens new tab and Italian billionaire Gianluigi Aponte's family-run shipping company MSC, has become politicised amid an escalating China-U.S. trade war. Negotiations for the deal, which covers 43 ports in 23 countries, are on an exclusive basis between CK Hutchison, controlled by Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing, and the consortium for 145 days until Sunday, according to the terms announced in March. The deal talks, however, are unlikely to collapse if the two parties do not ink a pact by Sunday, with three people close to the ports-to-telecoms conglomerate saying the parties could extend the deadline to continue exclusive negotiations. The first part of the deal - definitive documentation to sell two port operations near the Panama Canal - was also not signed by an April 2 deadline set in the sales announcement. The people declined to be named due to the sensitivity of the matter. BlackRock declined to comment. CK Hutchison and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, which CK Hutchison said in May was the main investor in the consortium, did not respond to requests for comment. U.S. President Donald Trump hailed the deal as "reclaiming" the Panama Canal, after his administration previously called for the removal of what it said was Chinese ownership of the ports near the canal. But in April, China's top market regulator said that it was paying close attention to CK Hutchison's planned sale and that parties to the deal should not try to avoid an antitrust review. Beijing's stance on the planned deal was made public after pro-China media launched a stinging criticism, saying China had significant national interests in the transaction and it would be a betrayal of the country. "I think at this moment it's not very optimistic that they can directly sell the ports to the consortium," said Jackson Chan, global fixed income senior manager at FSMOne Hong Kong, which has clients holding CK Hutchison bonds. "The market has already digested the news, even if it announces next week that it won't sell anymore, I don't think it'll be a shock because the market understands it wouldn't have a large impact on its operations." CK Hutchison shares, which jumped 33% the following two days after the deal was announced in early March, erased all of the gains by mid-April. But since then it regained lost ground along with the rise in the broader Hong Kong market index (.HSI), opens new tab. The outlook for the deal has been clouded further in recent days, with a separate source telling Reuters that Chinese ports operator China Cosco Shipping Corp (COSCO) was also looking to join the consortium to buy the ports business. COSCO is requesting veto rights or equivalent power in the entity that will take over 43 ports from CK Hutchison, Bloomberg News reported this week, citing people familiar with the matter. COSCO did not respond to a request for comment. Responding to Reuters' emailed queries on the deal prospects and possible involvement of COSCO in the consortium, a White House official said: "As the president said, we didn't give it to China. We gave it to Panama, and we're taking it back." The official did not elaborate. The existing consortium would likely allow COSCO into the deal, said Cathy Seifert, an analyst at CFRA Research. "The bigger risk to the deal being consummated, in my opinion, is likely the Trump administration, which is likely to block a deal that would include China," said the New Jersey-based analyst who tracks BlackRock. Ballingal Investment Advisors strategist David Blennerhassett, who publishes on the independent online research platform Smartkarma, said the addition of COSCO in the consortium was likely to enrage Trump. "Trump, who has a handful of issues already on his plate, would be incandescent," he said.
