Noida: Woman jumps to death in front of metro train at Golf Course Station

Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 6 (ANI): A 25-year-old woman died after she allegedly jumped in front of a moving train at the Golf Course Metro Station on Tuesday noon.
The incident caused a delay in train services on the blue line of the Delhi Metro, which is located near the golf ground in Noida.
Speaking to ANI about the incident in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ram Badan Singh said, 'A short while ago, we received information that a 25-year-old committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at the Golf Course Metro Station.'
'Upon receiving information, police reached the spot. The body has been sent for a post-mortem. Further investigation is being done.,' said the DCP.

Criticising the NDA government in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav alleged that the criminals have been "protected" by the administration. Speaking to reporters, Tejashwi said, as quoted by ANI, "Criminals have become fearless in Bihar, and I am a former Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition in the state assembly, there are residences of the Development Commissioner, many ministers near my residence. Still, such incidents are happening. This is very serious... If the most secure area of the state is not safe and they cannot catch the criminals then Bihar CM Nitish Kumar should resign." He also took to X and wrote, "Bullet shots were fired outside my residence today. In the NDA-ruled Bihar, the morale of criminals, protected by the government, is so high that they are roaming freely in the high-security zone. They fired and fled the spot." According to the details, the firing incident took place in the Polo Road area, where the official residences of many ministers, Tejashwi Yadav and top bureaucrats are located. Also, CM's residence and Governor Arif Mohammed Khan's house are also located close to the Polo Road. "A case has been registered, and the matter is being investigated. Search is underway to arrest the miscreants', the SDPO said.

Many of these conversations stretched between 30 to 60 minutes, indicating a close and ongoing connection. Once the pattern was established, police began searching for Verma in Indore. However, the number in question had since been switched off, making it difficult to trace. Officers then turned to Sonam's family for leads, but even her brother Govind claimed he had never heard of anyone by that name. Speaking to reporters, Govind said, 'I don't know anything about Sanjay Verma. I had come to show you all the places where Raj used to work. Nothing has been seized from here.
