Edinburgh Live6 hours ago

River Island shoppers are singing praises about a "gorgeous" dress that's gaining attention on social media. The high street giant is well known for it's fashion favourites - and there might be a new crowd pleaser available.
The retailer is selling the Yellow Sleeveless Corset Detail Midi Dress, which is priced at £99. Available in yellow or white, the dress is currently available in a range of sizes, though some are quickly selling out.
The design of the dress boasts a v-neck and sleeveless cut, with adaptable straps, a mid-length style and a zip closure. Its highlight is the corset feature, creating an elegant silhouette.
Crafted from 97% Cotton and 3% Elastane, shoppers are advised to cool iron the dress and to use a gentle 30°C cycle for machine washing. River Island advises against tumble drying or having the garment dry cleaned.
For those who fancy this season's must-have hue but fancy a change in design, New Look is offering a Yellow Floral Patterned Long Sleeve Midi Dress at a discount for £35.99, down from £47.99. ASOS provides a choice with its linen-look 3D floral bust corset midi dress in yellow price-tagged at £75, and Next features a Lemon Yellow Square Neck Puff Hem Midi Dress for £85, reports the Daily Record.
The popular Instagram account @galslovehighstreet uploaded footage showing the River Island dress displayed in the shop. The post read: "It's screaming Italian wedding guest."
The post garnered over 1,800 likes and a range of comments from excited shoppers. Someone remarked: "Love this colour," while another commented: "Gorgeous."
Another keen shopper said: "This looks soooo flattering." Someone else wrote: "I love this dress so much." Another comment read: "I'm obsessed."

Praise for the yellow dress continued with one shopper saying: "Absolutely gorgeous", another adding: "Fave colour."
Further praise included a comment that read: "Stunning" and another that exclaimed: "Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous."
A different person expressed their affection: "Oh my god!! I love this dress!" Another wrote: "Need." Another comment read: "It's such a beautiful colour."

Controversial Strictly star forced to slash ticket prices by 50% after show scandal meant tour failed to sell out

Now you can catch the pro's performances at a steal of a price KEEP DANCING Controversial Strictly star forced to slash ticket prices by 50% after show scandal meant tour failed to sell out STRICTLY Come Dancing pros have slashed tickets to one of their upcoming shows after failing to sell out. The performance, scheduled at New Theatre Oxford tomorrow (Tuesday 17th June), will see two faces join forces as part of their joint tour. Advertisement 3 Giovanni and Anton have had to slash their ticket prices in half Credit: Supplied 3 The pair have been performing across the UK over the last weeks Credit: Giovanni Pernice, who famously left Strictly after Amanda Abbington triggered a probe into his backstage behaviour, has teamed up with Anton Du Beke for a tour they've named 'Together Again'. However, tickets have now been slashed to 50% off via the Show Film First in order to fill seats, with £43 tickets now going for £20.91. At their most expensive, tickets were going for £143 each, but now available for just £53. The entire balcony has also been closed off in order to bring ticketholders down to lower (and typically pricier) seats. Advertisement The Together Again tour will continue across the UK through to the end of July. Giovanni and Anton have been longtime collaborators, with their travel show being axed in the wake of the Giovanni scandal, despite earning a Bafta nomination. Giovanni has since been cleared of all but six allegations made against him by former partners, including Abbington. Whilst Giovanni was cleared of being physically abusive to Amanda Abbington, he stressed that it made last year 'a dark year'. Advertisement He said previously: 'I'm not going to lie, there were dark moments in terms of, you know, this is finished, this is the end of my career. "That was one of my down moments. Sorry for my language but 2024 can f**k off," he added. "I've been looking forward to seeing the back of it.' Giovanni Pernice stands by strict methods as he reveals upset at not winning the Glitterball with 'brilliant' Amanda Despite the Sicilian dancer sharing his hopes to rejoin the series, The Sun recently revealed that Simone Arena is set to replace him. The hunky Italian, 33, is the boyfriend of Michelle Tsiakkas, 29, who is also on the show, will join in the Autumn as one of two new pros. Advertisement But all is not lost for Gio, who managed to bag over £1million in the last financial year – his most lucrative to date – via other television appearances, dance workshops, and moving to the Italian version of Strictly, Ballando con le Stelle.

'People keep telling me to heal,' Bieber wrote. 'Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?' 'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues,' he continued. 'I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and angry.' Meg versus Malisha: How Tape Nightclub Became The New Love Island Insult

After the first week of Love Island season 12, true to form, three new bombshells entered the villa and upset the apple cart. Not only did new girls Malisha, Emily and Yasmin pick their favourite boys for dates, all of whom were already 'getting to know' other people, but in a new ITV twist the other girls got to watch the dates live on a cinema screen. This meant when Malisha and her date Dejon, who was coupled up with Meg, got back to the villa, all hell broke loose. Meg had seen exactly what went down on their date, from Dejon's flirty one liners to Malisha's penchant for hanging out in Tape nightclub in Mayfair, and she had plenty to say about it. In fact, one of the first things she said when Dejon got back was: 'You failed the test. I'm not here to play games.' In one particularly awkward moment, Malisha and Dejon were catching up on the sofa when they overheard Meg talking about Malisha in the kitchen. 'What does she do? Stand in Mayfair and go to Tape every weekend? Boring,' Meg told the girls. Malisha overheard her name and asked Meg to repeat what she had said. Meg downplayed the remark, leaving out the insult and replied that she was talking about Tape. 'I don't think there's anything wrong with that, do you?' she asked. When pressed, she added, 'I'll say it with my chest.' But what even is Tape nightclub and is going there the insult Meg thinks it is? Tape is an exclusive and expensive venue in London's Mayfair, often frequented by influencers and the super rich. Entry is £20, although ladies might get in for £10 or free before 11.30pm (at the bouncer's discretion). Very 2025! Table bookings have a minimum spend of £1500 for up to eight people and VIP tables can have a minimum spend of £2000. It might be bougie, but the club has a mixed reputation, scoring a disappointing three stars on Google reviews and 2.8 stars on Trip Advisor. It's been called everything from 'absolutely vile' to 'the best club in London', with Meg's 'boring' remark now added to the list. The dispute between Meg and Malisha came to a head after the Tape argument when the pair tried to clear things up privately. However, it didn't take long before Meg called Malisha a liar for apologising to her then asking Dejon to come to the hideaway. The chat ended with Malisha calling Meg an idiot and Meg walking off and saying, 'Go back to Tape.' None of which is likely to be the PR Tape was hoping for, but we have a feeling they'll survive the hit. Needless to say viewers have weighed in on the drama on social media too. 'Malisha 100% is in the right she has 0 loyalties to Megan especially after she was calling her boring saying she's at Tape every weekend,' reads one post. 'Malisha calling Meg out for her sly comments while Meg says 'say it with my chest' Meg's stuttering,' reads another. Someone else wondered, 'So meg squared want to come for Malisha for…doing her job as a bombshell.' The story on Instagram was quite different. 'Sorry but team Meg,' wrote one user. 'I thought that was disrespectful wanting to take him the hideaway… feel he's giving them both mixed signals telling Meg she's number 1 & saying same to Malisha, so I think Meg was in the right & its good entertainment watching it.' While someone else commented, 'I actually like that Meg is claiming what she wants, and isn't letting the cameras make her less determined to fight for man... she's doing what is every girl wants and has done int he past.' However, a third summarised, 'I think Meg's anger is misdirected at the bombshell rather than the man she met 5 days that owes her more loyalty. Bombshells are supposed to be flirtatious and "Take your man" it's not a new concept.' As always, the girls are forgetting three major things: they have been in the villa for one week and no one is in a relationship yet, bombshells have no choice but to pursue the people they like, and if they feel disrespected they should address it with the man in the middle instead of each other. Ten years in, the Love Island drama never changes. In fact, it seems to get worse every year. Love Island season 12 continues everyday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.
