Monty Python items from final live show up for auction
Bidding is open now and remains so for just less than three weeks.
What is Monty Python?
Formed in 1969, the Monty Python comedy troupe was made up of Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Sir Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam.
The group's rise in prominence and popularity came through the BBC sketch comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus, which aired from 1969 to 1974.
They went on to create films, musicals, albums, books and musicals.
Chapman died of cancer in 1989, and Jones died in 2020.
The group, minus Chapman, put on their final show in 2024 at the O2.

Sir Michael said: 'Monty Python Live (Mostly) at the O2 was the show to end all Python shows.
"None of us had ever experienced an audience reaction on that scale, proving conclusively that it is possible to be silly after 70.
'We couldn't better that show and since the sad death of Terry Jones, we must admit that the O2 show was Python's farewell.'

Sir Michael said he hopes some of the costumes and props, which are being auctioned online, can be passed on to their 'greatest and most loyal fans'.
Among the outfits up for sale are Gilliam's 'I've Got Two Legs' costume and exploding stomach, Idle's 'Galaxy Song' suit and globe, Cleese's albatross costume and wig and a dress worn by actress Carol Cleveland.
Props include a spam menu from the 'spam' sketch, a lifelike llama, and a fake dead parrot and bird cage.

The 'IMOM' moniker, which they came up with themselves, is almost laughable. But knowing the men involved in this group as I do, I can tell you they've got more front than Harrods - and would have revelled in their self-created grandeur. The reality of their antics is far grubbier, however. 'Partner swapping on Strictly was common,' my insider explained. 'This group of pros referred to themselves as 'The International Men of Mystery' and were notorious for sleeping with each other's partners - even when some of them were in relationships. 'Naturally, it all became very messy.' The 'mess' which my insider told me about played out in the background of the show. And - thankfully for BBC bosses - doesn't appear to have affected the mega-watt smiles the stars put on when Strictly's famous tune starts up…even if they're actually grimacing inside. 'One female star, who was in a relationship, had sexual encounters with two members of 'The International Men of Mystery' and it ended up being gossiped about by everyone,' my source - who worked on Strictly for a number of years - explained. Tributes paid to 'legend' James Whale after death aged 74
Whale had fought a long battle with kidney cancer, having been first diagnosed in 2000, with doctors predicting he had three months to live. However, he had surgery to remove one of his kidneys and six years later, he launched the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer to fund research and raise awareness of the disease. His cancer returned in 2020, and it was revealed that it had also spread to his spine, brain and lungs. We are sad to announce that James Whale MBE died earlier today aged 74, following a lengthy battle with cancer. As a broadcasting legend for over 50-years, James will be missed by so many at TALK and the wider News UK family. The broadcaster's final column was published just hours before he passed away, in which he revealed he's "happy to go now and feels at peace" after moving into a hospice. He is survived by his wife Nadine and his two sons James and Peter. Whale first came to prominence in the 1980s as the host of The James Whale Radio Show on Radio Aire in Leeds. From 1995 to 2008, he hosted a night-time radio show on talkSPORT (Talk Radio 1995–2000), followed by stints on LBC 97.3 and various BBC radio stations. He covered shows on talkRADIO from October 2016, including James Whale Unleashed. Very sad to learn of the passing of broadcasting legend @THEJamesWhale after his long battle with cancer.
