4,078 Days As PM: Modi Tops Indira Gandhi, Now Behind Jawaharlal Nehru In India's Longest PM Streaks
"Narendra Modi is no bogeyman. The media has simply blown it out of proportion – I've met him. It's all just showmanship, no substance," he said.
leader Sudhanshu Trivedi reacted to this saying that PM Modi had "become the second-longest-serving PM of the country" with people's mandate.
"Today, PM Modi has become the second-longest-serving PM of the country with an uninterrupted tenure.
When Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi became the Prime Ministers of the country, it was the result of the prevailing circumstances. However, PM Modi has achieved this record with the mandate of the people," he said.
This is not the first time that Rahul has targeted PM Modi over his public image. Last month, while highlighting the failures of several schemes including 'Make in India', he had said that PM Modi was more about "catchy slogans" than delivering real solutions to economic challenges.
