Sony May Have Quietly Discontinued a PS5 Accessory
Sony may have quietly discontinued a PS5 accessory, replacing it with a more expensive, higher-end model. Players began noticing the disappearance of as far back as six months ago, and now, it's not available to purchase on PS Direct either.
Sony didn't officially announce the discontinuation of the Pulse 3D model, but we've seen reports from various regions that it's no longer available in stores. Pulse 3D has presumably been replaced by the Pulse Elite, which costs more.
Some players have been left frustrated by the change. We've seen a number of threads pop up on gaming forums, with players complaining about issues with the pricey Elite and being unable to find a new Pulse 3D headset.
'I had Elites and Audeze Maxwell, and honestly, I returned to Pulse 3D due to great sound, comfort, and very light weight,' a user wrote on Reddit. 'I wanted to get a second pair and it's kinda unavailable in EU.'
'Why is no one talking about their Pulse headset just disappearing quietly?' another player asked. 'I think this is a big deal especially since their other headset [Elite], is still not functioning properly,' they added, referring to complaints of Elite disconnecting frequently.
At the time of this writing, we can confirm that Pulse 3D isn't available to purchase via PS Direct.

Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are headed to streaming
Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are coming to streaming for the first time. The two game shows will arrive on Hulu and Peacock in September, according to a report from The New York Times. Under the multi-year deal, new episodes of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune will appear on both streaming services one day after they air on linear TV. The agreement will include older episodes of each show, too. For decades, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune have been staples on linear TV, and their expansion to Peacock and Hulu is part of a broader pattern that's bringing key series, like WWE's Monday Night Raw, to streaming. As pointed out by The Hollywood Reporter, this streaming deal isn't directly connected to the legal battle involving Sony — the producer of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! — and its distributor, CBS. Last year, Sony sued CBS over claims it breached their agreement by not doing enough to boost revenue from licensing the shows. A judge granted Sony the rights to distribute Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! in April, but an appellate court ruled last week that CBS can keep distributing the shows during the legal battle.

Benzinga and Yahoo Finance LLC may earn commission or revenue on some items through the links below. A first-time real estate investor in the Northeast shared a raw, detailed account on Reddit about the highs and lows of jumping into property ownership. In the post, the 38-year-old immigrant described buying a $700,000 duplex with big dreams of financial freedom—and the harsh lessons that followed. '$700K duplex, permit issues, and a nightmare tenant—I'm feeling overwhelmed,' he wrote, summing up his experience in the post's title. The investor explained that despite earning roughly $12,000 a month after taxes and having no consumer debt, his first year as a landlord has been anything but smooth. 'I'm new to real estate investing—and honestly, to investing in general,' he wrote. 'I wasn't raised in the U.S., and I don't have anyone in my network who could've guided me.' He rented it out for $3,350 a month. Encouraged by that success, he spent another $45,000 to convert the basement into an Airbnb unit, which started strong and brought in over $7,000 in revenue and $6,000 in profit between November and December. But a plumbing issue late last year uncovered more than just a leak. 'The repair has cost me around $30K so far,' he said. Worse yet, inspections revealed the renovation was done without permits—something he said he was unaware was required. That oversight may now result in an additional $20,000 in fines. While rent is paid on time, he described the tenant as 'loud, combative, and causing me serious stress.' He's now initiating eviction proceedings, even as the tenant threatens legal action against him. 'If I keep her, I will ruin my mental health,' he told commenters. 'My tenant wasn't inherited ... I actually selected them... but again lessons.' With a mortgage that recently rose to $6,600 per month due to a tax reassessment, and only $6,300 in rental income from both Airbnb and Section 8, he says he's just breaking even. 'At least I'm not coming out of pocket,' he ahead, he's planning to move into the basement and convert both the upstairs and downstairs units into full-time Airbnbs. 'One is a 3-bedroom and the other is a beautiful 1-bedroom—I believe this pivot could help me recover from all the unexpected costs,' he wrote. Despite the challenges, he remains optimistic and committed to his financial goals. 'I'm proud of what I've built, but I've made a lot of costly mistakes, and now I'm feeling discouraged.' Reddit users flooded the thread with support and advice. One summed it up: 'Everything is hard before it's easy. The first property is just about learning. How to watch Sony's PlayStation State of Play at Summer Game Fest
To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. Summer Game Fest week just got even busier. Sony is throwing its own party on Wednesday, June 4 at 5PM ET in the form of a State of Play. The stream will showcase "must-play" PS5 games from developers based around the world and you can watch it on on YouTube or Twitch. To make things even easier, you can watch it right here by clicking the big red button above when the time is right. (English subtitled and Japanese versions of the State of Play will be available too.) The State of Play will run for over 40 minutes, so there should be a bunch of games included. Sony hasn't given any hints as to what it will show off as yet, but it'll surely be worth checking out the stream. Wednesday's event will be Sony's third State of Play of the year. The first was in February, which included the reveal of the very tasty-sounding Soros from Returnal studio Housemarque, a PS5 remaster of Days Gone and a release date for Borderlands 4 . In April, the company hosted a brief State of Play entirely focused on Borderlands 4 where it showed off gameplay and some new multiplayer mechanics. With this State of Play, Sony is padding out a packed SGF schedule that includes what is routinely Xbox's biggest showcase of the year on Sunday, June 8. And then there's also the little matter of the Nintendo Switch 2's arrival on June 5. It's shaping up to be a fun, if very busy, week.
