WWE NXT Battleground 2025 shaped up to be a highly intriguing Premium Live Event with some top matches and moments.
One match that had everybody talking was TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry defending his title against NXT top star Trick Williams.
This was the first time a TNA title was being contested at a WWE event. Not only that, it became even more iconic as the dust settled on this spectacular showdown.

The match was, in every sense, worthy of a main event of a WWE Premium Live Event, despite the TNA World Heavyweight Championship being on the line.
