Shreya Dhanwanthary, recognized for her work in 'Scam 1992' and 'The Family Man', criticized the Central Board of Film Certification for cutting a brief kissing scene from the Hollywood movie 'Superman'.
She called the censorship unreasonable, complaining that such actions spoil the cinema experience and insisting that viewers should have the freedom to choose what they want to see on screen.

Lashing out, the actress said, "They want us to go to the theatres. They want us to stop pirating stuff. I don't understand. Why make the theatre going experience so horrible then? LET US DECIDE WHAT WE WANT TO WATCH!!!! Let us decide what we want to do with our time and money!".

She further wrote, "WHAT RIDICULOUS CRAP THIS IS!!! Then they blame the audience and say that we don't go to the cinemas anymore and then wonder why people watch mediocre crap on OTT's and TV.

Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is by Kalaiselvan Sivaji. Sreejith Sarang has been roped in as the film's editor and art direction has been handled by Mahendran. The film is scheduled to hit screens on July 25 this year.
