Prince Louis is finishing the Easter holidays on a high as he celebrates his seventh birthday today.
The young royal has quickly become a national treasure, famous for his hilarious antics when stepping out at official events. Whether he's pulling funny faces, dancing by himself, sticking out his tongue, or widely yawning, Louis is the one to watch thanks to his cheeky but endearing shenanigans.
However, Louis is largely growing up away from the public spotlight and the last time he was seen in public was on Christmas Day when the Royal Family made their traditional festive appearance on King Charles ' Sandringham Estate to walk to church.
As the cheeky prince turns seven, we take a look inside his charmed life in Windsor.

Posh school
Prince Louis - along with his siblings, Prince George, Princess Charlotte - enrolled at Lambrook School in September 2022. Lambrook School caters for both boys and girls and it charges up to £7,000 per term, with an additional charge of £1,481 for boarding.
As it is suitable for both sexes, it's believed to have been a more convenient option for Kate and William, as opposed to Ludgrove and Papplewick, which are only for boys. Lambrook School boasts a range of incredible facilities, including a 9-hole golf course, a polo field, a bee farm and a mini Masterchef club.
According to the school's website, the list of clubs on offer includes: farming, bee keeping, chess, mountain biking, fencing, judo, film making, scuba diving, squash, song writing, mini Masterchef, ballet, tap, jazz, golf, polo, podcast making, sewing, skiing, swimming, tennis, life saving, survival, debating and public speaking.
In a guide by Talk Education, Lambrook is described as having a "sense of delicious freedom and fresh air". "We spotted children cartwheeling on the croquet lawn, racing around with cricket bats and swinging from old tyres hanging from the trees, sporting proper rosy cheeks and a healthy outdoorsy glow.
"The school is anchored around a pristine, grand white country house, with a nursery and pre-prep on site. There's a sense of delicious freedom and fresh air," the guide added.
Close relationship with nanny
Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo has been the nanny to the Wales children since each of them were babies and she started working for the family in 2014 when Prince George was just a few months old. As the nanny studied at one of the best institutions in the world, the prestigious Norland College in Bath, one can expect her to be paid well.
After all, her training wasn't cheap. A three-year BA course in Early Childhood Education and Care at the college costs around £17,364 a year and aims to "Equip students with the necessary professional leadership, management and practical skills to work in a variety of early childhood contexts, with a specialism in home-based childcare."
Maria has settled nicely into the household, living at Kensington Palace before moving with the family to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor and accompanying the children on royal tours and family holidays. Author Louise Heren, who spent a year at Norland College while researching a documentary, said that the famous children are likely to lead very normal lives at home and have a close relationship with their nanny.
"Given what we have seen of Catherine when she is out in public, she's very hands-on," she explained. "I imagine her relationship with Maria is very close and they collaborate greatly on the care of the children.
"I've spoken to nannies who have worked with other royal families and life is pretty normal. You get up, have breakfast, you go to school and you wear your school uniform whether you like it or not. It would be quite like the average British school children."
Future as a 'spare'
One person who knows all too well what life is like as a 'spare' to the throne is Louis' uncle, Prince Harry. He once revealed that he had voiced his concern over the impact it could have on George's siblings, Louis and Charlotte.
In an interview with Bryony Gordon, he said: "And though William and I have talked about it, once or twice, and he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility, I still feel a responsibility. I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. And that hurts, it worries me."
However, global parenting expert and Supernanny Jo Frost , told HELLO! exactly why Charlotte and Louis would never be the 'heir and spare' to their big brother. "I think William and Catherine understand the importance of nurturing the sibling relationships between the three of them," Jo said.
"Dare I say it, in their family it would never be the 'heir and spare'. It would be about the importance of all of them. The understanding that it really takes a team, with the important roles in upholding the crown and the monarchy. And so, we're seeing these very early seeds now, with respect to what it means to support each other and to nurture together."
There has been speculation that he may one day pursue a military career like many of the other men in his family, with the RAF touted as a possible option.
Relationship with Meghan and Harry
With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepping down as senior royals in January 2020 - when Louis was just one year old - and moving to California shortly thereafter, royal fans have not seen much of the Sussexes interacting with the youngster.
Now, with the rift between brothers William and Harry running deeper than ever, it's likely that the seven year old has very little, if any, interaction with his Montecito-based aunt and uncle - despite the fact he and his cousin Archie are only 15 months apart in age. There have, however, been rumours that the Sussexes once sent Christmas gifts to the children.
However, despite their seemingly estranged relationship, Meghan and Louis do share one thing in common. On July 9, 2018, Prince Louis was christened at the Chapel Royal of St. James' Palace in London. This is the same place where only a few months earlier, Meghan was confirmed into the church of England before her wedding to Prince Harry.
Sources revealed that Meghan was baptised in a 'secret ceremony' at the church in March before the royal wedding in May.
Huge net worth
Earlier this year, the three Wales children were ranked in the world's richest children list. Despite being just seven years old, Louis was ranked in ninth place, behind his brother and sister, with an estimated net worth of £98m.
The young Prince could be set to inherit the 'Duke of York' title once Prince William becomes monarch. The Dukedom of York, like other royal dukedoms, can only be passed on to a male heir.
Prince William and Prince Harry both received Dukedoms on their wedding days in 2011 and 2018. William was previously - prior to taking on the title of Prince of Wales - known as Duke of Cambridge.
He also has access to the finest homes. While their Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage, is said to be worth £5million, the family's Anmer Hall in Norfolk is even grander with 10 bedrooms and £1.5million spent on renovations alone.

EastEnders favourite kicked out by partner in fiery argument as ‘cheating' exposed

The BBC soap is no stranger to showing dramatic love lives in Albert Square. 4 Elaine Knight was furious - as a secret husband George kept came to light Credit: BBC 4 George tried to explain himself - but Elaine wasn't having it Credit: BBC 4 Elaine kicked George out - and was left in tears afterwards Credit: BBC George Knight (Colin Salmon) faced the wrath of wife Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) after a secret came to light. Up until now, Elaine believed George had been at a boxing match on Christmas Day - which explained blood being on him. George's son Junior (Micah Balfour) returned to Walford and the truth was revealed. The pub landlord had actually visited Junior's mother Sabrina - and kept it from Elaine. He'd hoped to uncover the reasons behind Junior's behaviour - such as sleeping with George's ex-wife Cindy (Michelle Collins). It particularly stung for Elaine, having gotten past George hiding that he was helping Cindy with new venture The Albert. Behind closed doors, he tried to explain himself - but Elaine wasn't having any of it. "You expect me to believe she just threw herself at you?" Elaine said, before adding: "You must think I came down in the last rainfall." George insisted he'd only visited to talk, but Sabrina misread the situation and tried to kiss him. He claimed the bleeding came when he pulled away and Sabrina slapped him - catching his nose. Watch the moment bitter EastEnders rivals come to blows after months of tension Elaine was furious at George not only for lying, but also roping Gina (Francesca Henry) and Kojo (Dayo Koleosho). George reiterated that he loved Elaine, but she said: "But you don't trust me. "Because if you trusted me, you would've come home that night and told me everything. You would've trusted that I would've believed you. "You would've trusted that I'd have been by your side - like I have every single time." Best soap affair love triangles LOVE triangles are a fundamental part of soap-land, but which ones have become the most iconic? EASTENDERS Bradley/Stacey/Max: Stacey Slater began an affair with boyfriend Bradley Branning's dad Max in 2007. Despite their romps, Stacey still married Bradley, but their deceit came out in an iconic Christmas Day episode that year. Grant/Sharon/Phil: Heading even further back in Walford history, EastEnders fans were gripped in the 90s as Sharon Watts had a one-night stand with her brother-in-law Phil Mitchell. Sharon confided in best friend Michelle Fowler - not realising it was caught on tape - and her husband Grant eventually found out and played it in front of everyone at the Queen Vic. Syed/Amira/Christian: Syed Masood was engaged to Amira before realising he had feelings for another man, Christian, which he confessed to him on his wedding day. A devout Muslim, Syed refused to admit his true sexuality and went ahead and married Amira anyway, but when they returned, the two men started an affair before being caught in the act by Amira. CORONATION STREET Shelley/Peter/Lucy: Peter Barlow took the concept of a love triangle and ran with it in Coronation Street - extending it to bigamy. He was in a relationship with Shelley Unwin but started dating Lucy Richards, and quickly married her after she fell pregnant with his son, Simon. But it didn't stop him also marrying Shelley, but he was eventually caught when Lucy turned up in Weatherfield and the two women confronted him. Ken/Deidre/Mike: Back in 1982, Deirdre Barlow started sleeping with her husband's nemesis Mike Baldwin in secret, before confessing all a year later. When Mike turned up at the marital home, Deirdre was being throttled by her husband who then kicked her out, but years later they reconciled. Maria/Aidan/Eva: In 2017, Aidan Connor started sleeping with girlfriend Eva Price's best friend, Maria Connor. Eva eventually found out and she decided to take revenge by faking a pregnancy, spending his money and planned to confront him on their wedding day. But she had a change of heart when a remorseful Aidan confessed, and decided to marry him anyway, only for Maria to arrive and expose her fake pregnancy. EMMERDALE Ross/Debbie/Pete: Debbie Dingle found herself torn between two brothers, Ross and Pete Barton in 2015 in Emmerdale. She eventually decided to marry Pete but yet again, a soap wedding day was ruined when the groom learned of his bride's betrayal via a recording played at the wedding. Chrissie/Robert/Aaron: Robert Sugden was married to Chrissie White and all seemed well - until he began a steamy affair with Aaron Dingle. Robert's ex Katie Sugden almost exposed the affair - but fell to her death before she had the chance. However, a guilty Aaron eventually cracked and told Chrissie about the affair - after which she announced it to the whole pub. Elaine ultimately asked George to leave - saying she didn't think he loved her enough. When he continued to try and smooth things over, Elaine threw a glass at the wall and screamed: "Get out!" After a pep talk from Linda (Kellie Bright) and Johnny (Charlie Suff), Elaine went to find George - only to be left heartbroken by seeing him comforting an upset Cindy. EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer.

Vernon Kay addresses 'stressful' time at home as he makes 'terrible' admission
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Vernon Kay admits he was "terrible" after escaping his family home for a round of golf. BBC Radio 2 star Vernon has opened up about the "stressful" time at home with Strictly star Tess Daly and their family due to exam season. Tess and Vernon share daughters Phoebe, 20, and Amber, 15, together. Vernon has previously revealed GCSE season is "up and running" at home. The former Family Fortunes presenter said the exams were "torturous" for some children. On Monday, Vernon told viewers he decided to go for a round of golf to escape the exam pressures at home. He told listeners: "Friday, I treated myself to a couple of holes of golf. "I was terrible, it was awful. We had a bit of stress with GCSEs so I had five minutes and it was really bad, so I went and had a golf lesson on Saturday morning, and it got worse." (Image: tessdaly / Instagram) During a light-hearted moment discussing his golfing woes, Vernon quipped: "Baby steps, baby steps, that's what they keep telling me." Vernon previously opened up about the exam season when a Radio 2 listener said they were trying to convince their son to revise. It prompted the 51-year-old to reminisce about his own childhood. Vernon said: "[We've] "Got GCSEs on the they're here. We've started ours, we're up and running. "Of course, it's stressful. I remember my I don't...I'm lying, it was so long ago - 1990 I did mine. "I remember sitting there thinking, 'Gosh, I wish I'd revised'. I'm not remembering anymore, it's making me depressed." Vernon went on to say he "hated" exams because he was "rubbish" at them. He added: "It's not the way education should be for me, more practical, playing out, hide and seek, I'd have got A+ in that. (Image:) "It's torturous for some kids, isn't it? If you've got who are going through GSCEs, just put your arm around them. "There's nothing else they can do. There's no point cramming. You can cram all you want in your revision, which we all did, let's be honest, but you've just got to hold their hand haven't you? "Guide them along, make sure they're alright between their ears, in their noggin'." The love story between Vernon and Tess began when they were both rising stars on competing TV channels, with Vernon at Channel 4's T4 and Tess on ITV's SMTV. Despite their professional rivalry, the couple quickly fell for each other, with Tess, aged 56, recalling an "immediate" connection and memorable times together. Vernon popped the question on Christmas Day in 2002 amidst festive celebrations at Tess's family home. Their wedding took place at St Mary's Church in Horwich, Vernon's birthplace, followed by a reception at Rivington Hall Barn. Not long after tying the knot, Tess became pregnant, welcoming their first child, Phoebe, into the world on October 17, 2004, in London. Nearly five years on from the birth of Phoebe, Tess Daly and Vernon Kay were delighted to announce the arrival of their second daughter, Amber, born on 30 May 2009. Vernon shared with the Sunday Mirror, "She is absolutely beautiful and I am thrilled."

Claire Hughes MP was gifted ticket to the BAFTA Games Awards
Ms Hughes, who was elected last July, has declared the ticket on her register of financial interests. This states that, on April 8, the UK Interactive Entertainment Association Ltd gifted the ticket, valued at £700, which she accepted the same day. The BAFTA Games Awards, which were this year held on April 8 and hosted by comedian Phil Wang, celebrates achievements in the video game industry in the last 12 months. Ms Hughes' Labour colleague, Warrington North MP Charlotte Nichols, was also gifted hospitality at the event, also worth £700. Ms Nichols stated in her own register of financial interests that this was 'in my capacity as chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on video games and e-sports". Ms Hughes is not a member of this APPG. All of the other items on Ms Hughes' register of financial interests date back to last year. These include a £10,000 donation from Labour Together Ltd, which was 'to support campaign activities leading up to the general election'. Ms Hughes was approached for further comment by the Pioneer. She posted on her Facebook page this afternoon: "Wales is starting to become a significant player in the global gaming landscape. But I want North Wales to have a much bigger slice of the pie. "At the start of Easter recess, I attended the BAFTA Games Awards celebrating the best of the UK games industry with UK Interactive Entertainment. "I'm not a gamer myself. As someone who previously worked in the sector, though, I recognise the massive value of the sector and opportunity for growth; the video games sector is bigger than the music and film sectors combined, contributing almost £7bn a year to UK GVA. "Recent growth in video games in Wales is thanks partly to support from Welsh Government including the Games Scale Up Fund for Wales, which last week announced a total of £850,000 funding support for Wales-based developers via Creative Wales. "But with the creative industries highlighted as one of the key growth areas in the UK Government's upcoming Industrial Strategy, we could be doing much more to encourage young people to consider a career in immersive entertainment, and to support up-and-coming businesses to thrive. "We have brilliant opportunities for people to gain the skills to build a career in the industry in our area - Coleg Llandrillo have long offered highly respected courses in 3D arts and games development, and the recent investment in a state-of-the-art new campus in Bangor makes it clear the Welsh Government is serious about putting pounds behind promises. "I hope that in future years, we will see games made in Wales featured at the gaming BAFTAs. More than that, though - I want more young people in Bangor Aberconwy knowing that a career in video games is up for grabs. "I'll be doing more on this over the summer, including workshops for school-leavers and an industry roundtable. If this is something you're interested in being part of, get in touch."
