However, the character's original ITV sitcom came to an end back in 1995.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Rowan discussed whether he would revive his classic role.
It saw Richard Arnold ask him: "What price to have you back doing a live-action version again?"
Rowan replied: "Occasionally, I think about it. Is it worth it? Is there any need?

"It probably won't happen. Almost certainly won;t happen. But I have to say, it's not an impossibility."
Since the initial sitcom concluded, the character Mr Bean has reappeared in other forms.
This includes two feature films - Bean (1997) and Mr Bean's Holiday (2006), respectively.
Mr Bean featured at the London 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, in TV ads and several sketches for Comic Relief.

Rowan has also reprised the role for an animated series which has existed in three iterations.

Titled Man vs Baby, it is a follow up to the actor's 2022 series Man vs Bee and sees the actor reprising his role as lead Trevor Bingley.
Man vs Bee followed Trevor's disastrous experience housesitting a luxurious mansion filled with expensive artwork and classic cars.
A new employee at House Sitters Deluxe, it's Trevor's first big job but it is hampered by a rogue bee that he can not catch.
Not only does he injure himself while trying to overcome the bee, he causes destruction to the million-pound home he's been paid to look after.

The nine-part comedy series saw Rowan return to the small screen in a role similar to that of global hit Mr. Bean.
Man vs Baby will see Trevor looking after a luxurious London penthouse, but this time he is faced with an unlikely foe - a baby.
The new series consists of four 30-minute episodes and has been created and written by Will Davies & Rowan.

Lorraine Kelly filming new project amid 'insulting' cuts to ITV show

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Lorraine Kelly has revealed she's taking a break from her ITV show for an "amazing new project" leaving fans eager for her return. The beloved 65-year-old Scottish presenter took to Instagram to announce her one-week hiatus as she ventures up north for a project. In her Instagram video, Lorraine excitedly wrote: "BIG FILMING ADVENTURES! ! ! ! Heading to the very far north - it's going to be amazing - see you in a week's time!" She told her 581,000: "Hi there! I'm in the land of the midnight sun. It's absolutely glorious. It's a project that I have wanted to do for years and years and finally it is actually happening. "I'm heading really, really far North. It is going to be amazing and I will tell you all about it when I am back. I'm back a week tomorrow (Monday) and I will see you then. Wish me luck." (Image: Getty) This announcement follows reports that Lorraine was less than impressed with an alleged proposal from ITV. It's been suggested that chiefs proposed integrating her self-titled programme with Good Morning Britain, an idea she reportedly declined. The supposed offer would have seen Lorraine hosting the breakfast segment for half an hour each day, similar to the temporary format used during the COVID-19 crisis, which insiders have described as an "easy fix," reports the Express. Sources close to the presenter, now 65, allegedly revealed that she felt "insulted" by the proposal and declined it. Substantial shifts at ITV have had a significant impact on Lorraine, with the programme being reduced to airing 30 weeks a year and the episode length cut from one hour to just 30 minutes. One insider shared: "Lorraine was not happy about what is happening and also had concern for the production team which will be cut back too. "But the truth is she has to roll her sleeves up and work harder on her own show than she has in recent years, otherwise the long-term future does not look good." Lorraine is on ITV1 weekdays at 9am and ITVX

Ranvir Singh left gobsmacked as BGT winner Harry Moulding wows her with ‘absolutely ridiculous' card trick on Lorraine

RANVIR Singh was left gobsmacked after Britain's Got Talent champ Harry Moulding wowed her with an "absolutely ridiculous" card trick live on-air. The magician, who has been part of the illustrious Magic Circle since he was a youth, scooped the ITV reality series title this weekend. 7 7 7 7 Harry, 24, was crowned BGT winner in a tense final - taking hone £250,000 in the process. Yet while the Blackpool lad's victory was shrouded in "fix" claims, he shrugged off the backlash on Monday's Lorraine. Good Morning Britain anchor Ranvir, 47, was standing in for regular host Lorraine Kelly, 65, and told how Harry was a "good old Northerner, a Lancashire lad," before she added: "You always had my vote." As his interview wrapped, he pulled out a pack of cards to challenge Ranvir. He asked her to pull a card from the pack and show the camera, where she revealed it was the 10 of clubs. Harry didn't look at the card but asked her: "All good, are you happy? "Just say stop in it goes," before she inserted it back into the pack which he shuffled slowly, at Ranvir's request. To her shock he then pulled out the 10 of clubs and confessed: "No, most magicians wouldn't show you the moment this happens but I will. "If you watch that 10, we will bring it really close, I'm going to let you do this. "Can you push it in [the pack] yourself?" Harry Moulding crowned winner of Britain's Got Talent 2025 After a click of his fingers, Harry said "look at me," and Ranvir let out an audible gasp. The ITV favourite said: "What did you just do there?" as he replied: "It jumped all the way here." She could then be seen clapping as she said: "That is absolutely ridiculous well done." SHOW FIX? Prior to the BGT show final, angry fans of the series took to social media and shared their thoughts about an act that seemed to get special treatment and more air time. BGT's Best Golden Buzzer Moments BGT have handed out many Golden Buzzer's over the years, can you remember some of the most famous Loren Allred - Loren Allred, 32, from Brooklyn, New York jetted to London to audition after recording the vocals for The Greatest Showman. The stunning singer got a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer from the judges as she delivered a stirring rendition of Never Enough from the popular film. Loren came out on stage and revealed to the judges they would have heard her voice many times before that moment. "I was hired to record the vocals for The Greatest Showman as a guide for the actors to know how to sing the songs," she explained. Loren then revealed actress Rebecca Ferguson was so stunned by her singing that she decided to let her vocals be heard in the movie. "So she lip-synced," Loren said. Chicken Shed Theatre Company - Comprised of individuals aged between 5 and 37, the group was set up to welcome anyone irrespective of background to get up on stage and perform and fulfil their dream. Chicken Shed prides itself on accepting anyone and does not hold auditions to make the group a safe and inclusive space. The group wowed as they performed Wonder by Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sande. It meant that Alesha wasted no time as she decided to hit her golden buzzer for the young performers. She told them it was her "honour" to reward their inclusiveness with her golden buzzer. The Dancing Granny - Granny Paddy Jones and her professional partner Niko Espinosa first hit headlines when they won the Spanish talent show Tú sí que vales in 2009, before going on to appear on Britain's Got Talent in 2014 where they came ninth. Amanda Holden was so impressed with Paddy that she gave her the Golden Buzzer, which sent them straight through to the semi-finals. But things took a worrying turn when Paddy cracked a rib while rehearsing a new move and her place on the show was under doubt. She was given the all-clear to perform in the end but didn't quite live up to expectations. Bars and Melody - They will forever be remembered for their anti-bullying song on the talent show. Bars and Melody were first seen on the 2014 series of Britain's Got Talent, getting shuttled into the semi-finals when Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer. They made it to the final thanks to a performance of I'll Be Missing You but lost out on the crown to Collabro. These days Charlie Lenehan - known as Melody - is covered in tattoos, with inkings on his neck, arms and chest. But he is as close as ever to co-star Leondre Devries - who is Bars - with the pair seen enjoying themselves in exotic locations all over the world. Magician Harry took to the stage again after winning a spot in the semi-final. And while he wowed the audience and judges, viewers thought that something wasn't fair. One disgruntled fan said: "10 minutes of sh**e. How come no other act gets that time. It's a big fix folks." Another added: "11 acts but some got more stage time than others! How can that be fair?" It's not the first time the magician has caused controversy because fans insisted they had worked out his semi-final trick. 7 7 7

GMB's Susanna Reid forced to intervene after co-star's X-rated remark

Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid was forced to interrupt a conversation about OnlyFans On Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid had to step in and humorously remind her colleagues that they were live on air during a cheeky exchange. The Monday show took an unexpected turn when the panel discussed the earnings potential on OnlyFans, leaving Ed Balls particularly astonished. ‌ Kurts Adams Rozentals, a British canoeist, had earlier shared on the programme that he was raking in a six-figure income from OnlyFans, despite being barred from competition due to "allegations" concerning his social media activity. ‌ While reflecting on the sportsman's unconventional revenue stream, Ed quipped: "We are in the wrong jobs!" Amused by the thought, the former Strictly contestant chuckled: "It's amazing on the internet what you can make money from." Ed even suggested there might be a "niche" for Andrew, prompting Kevin Maguire to chime in with: "There'll be a fetish stream!" Ed, highlighting that making money on OnlyFans isn't against the law, continued: "Well, Andrew, when you find out how much money he's making, honestly, you should think about it." ‌ GB News' Andrew retorted: "I thought about it, Ed, the answer is no!" Yet, he couldn't resist making a playful offer to Ed, joking: "Are you suggesting we do it together? Are you blushing, Ed?" With Ed turning a shade of red, Susanna quickly interjected as the conversation veered off course. "This is going in a whole different direction!" she exclaimed. ‌ "Blimey!" added Kevin, before Susanna firmly reminded them with a laugh: "We are still on air, guys!" While Ed isn't keen on making waves on OnlyFans, he certainly raised eyebrows with Susanna after disclosing a saucy bikini anecdote. ‌ In 2023, he made a surprising revelation about participating in a charity swimsuit competition, boasting: "I've got to say, I looked really good." Susanna was taken aback by the unexpected viewing of Ed sporting a mankini on GMB. "Has it been censored?" she quipped, as Ed jestingly responded: "Luckily, you're not showing the bottom half!" ‌ Susanna then queried, amidst their banter, "Is that an AI mock-up?" Upon revealing the photographs, Ed shared the family rule his children set regarding the mankini—no wearing without boxers because it is "too revealing." "I'd not shaved or anything," he confided. "To those claiming it's too early... you're absolutely correct," Susanna retorted. "This'll be the amusing surprise that just keeps on giving!" Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.
