Skai Jackson of Disney Channel fame confirms arrival of her baby boy

Skai Jackson is a new mom!
The Disney Channel and 'Dancing With the Stars' alumna confirmed Sunday that she had welcomed her first child, a baby named Kasai.
Jackson, 22, posted a peek at her newborn on Instagram and Facebook, holding the infant's hands in her own as she seated the baby between her legs. They appeared to be wearing matching pajamas. The 'Jessie' and 'Bunk'd' star did not expose the baby's face in the photo, nor did she reveal the gender or other birth details to her 9.2 million followers on Instagram and 5.2 million on Facebook.
A representative for Jackson did not immediately respond Monday to The Times' requests for comment.
Jackson's mother Kiya Cole was among those to comment with well-wishes on the actor's post. Cole raised Jackson as a single parent and has said she would help her daughter navigate motherhood. On Sunday, Cole posted a baby photo of Jackson at the same age as Kasai and, with the use of a pronoun, revealed that Kasai is a baby boy.
'Kasai's mom,' wrote Cole on Instagram stories, 'At the same age he is now. Twinning.'
In November, Jackson confirmed that she was expecting the baby with her boyfriend, whose identity she has not publicly revealed either.
'I'm thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!' the actor told People at the time.
Jackson confirmed her pregnancy three months after she was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence at Universal Studios Hollywood. She was arrested Aug. 9 after security personnel noticed her and her boyfriend allegedly getting into a physical altercation at the theme park, which is adjacent to Universal CityWalk. Both Jackson and her boyfriend denied reports of a physical altercation, according to TMZ, which reported at the time that Jackson was engaged and expecting their first child.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office declined to bring charges against Jackson, whose representative said at the time that the performer was 'relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding.'
Times staff writer Alexandra Del Rosario contributed to this report.

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie's Twins, Vivienne And Knox, Are Their Parents' Mini-Mes On Rare LA Outing

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt, made a rare appearance recently, which highlighted their strong resemblance to their famous parents. The duo was spotted in Los Angeles dressed casually as they visited a grocery store to pick up a few items. Besides the soon-to-be 17-year-old twins, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share four other children, including Shiloh, 19, and their adopted siblings Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 20. Jolie and Pitt's twins, Vivienne and Knox, were recently spotted in public, and people couldn't help but notice how much they resemble their famous parents. Knox looked much like the younger version of his father, with his low haircut that looked similar to the one Pitt had when he starred with Jolie in the action comedy "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Meanwhile, Vivienne looked like the spitting image of her mother, wearing her hair loose, with some strands tucked behind her ears, just like the actress had been seen doing many times. For the outing, the duo dressed casually, wearing complementing outfits that consisted of a white polo, denims, and sneakers. They visited their local grocery, and Knox was seen carrying out a shopping bag as they made their way out of the location. From all indications, it appeared that they were unaccompanied by their mother on the casual outing. Earlier this year, the twins showed their humanitarian side by joining their mother to help close friends who were affected by the devastating fires that swept through parts of Los Angeles. The trio was spotted making multiple visits to their local grocery store in Los Feliz to pick up items needed to care for some of their loved ones who were staying at their home. "Right now I'm taking care of people close to me and having them at my house," she told the Daily Mail at the time during one of their grocery runs. A source also confirmed to People Magazine that the actress was "heartbroken for those who have lost their homes or are impacted by the fires." "She's doing everything she can to help, even opening her home to friends who were forced to evacuate," they continued. Knox and Vivienne are the youngest of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children. Their siblings include their older biological sister Shiloh, 19, and adopted siblings Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 20. As for why the twins are rarely seen in public, Jolie explained in a promotional interview last year for her film "Maria" that all of her kids prefer to live "quite private" lives. "None of my children want to be in front of the camera [at] this time," Jolie said during an appearance on "Good Morning America," per People. "They're quite private." "Shiloh's extremely private," the actress noted, before adding, "They weren't born with privacy, right? So, I hope that they can have that as they grow old. So we'll see." That same year, she made a similar statement to E! News when asked if her kids intended to pursue a career in acting. "No, I think they're especially shy, very private people," she told the outlet. "They want to be private." While Jolie seems to have a strong relationship with her children, things appear to be different with Pitt. Last year, People confirmed that his bond with his older children remains strained, and he has had "virtually no contact" with them for a long time. Meanwhile, he still has "visitation" rights with the younger kids, twins Vivienne and Knox, although Jolie has the children "most of the time." Yet, his relationship with the twins may not be very strong either. Multiple reports last year noted that Vivienne dropped the last name "Pitt" from her credit in The Outsiders Playbill. However, it has yet to be confirmed whether she has legally changed her name. After nearly a decade-long legal war, Pitt and Jolie finally reached a settlement in their divorce in December last year. The Hollywood stars first met while filming "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2003 and subsequently started dating before getting married in August 2014. However, shortly after their second wedding anniversary and an alleged private jet abuse incident, the "Maleficent" actress filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split. Following their divorce settlement, Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, revealed that the actress is "relieved this one part is over." "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted," Simon told the Daily Mail. "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family."

Gracie McGraw marks Pride Month, celebrates identity as 'out and proud queer, bisexual woman'

Gracie McGraw is proud to be who she is. The eldest daughter of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill spoke out in an Instagram story post Tuesday, refuting recent headlines that claimed she was coming out after re-sharing posts in support of Pride Month. "Hello all!! It has come to my attention that some tabloids have taken an Instagram story I posted yesterday and have used it as click bait saying I've 'come out,'" the 28-year-old wrote. "Let me be VERY clear here….. I've been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn't have it any other way," she continued. "I have and will always be very vocal about my support of LGBTQIA+ rights and the community, but thank you so much to these tabloids for shedding light that it's pride month!!!" Pride Month has been celebrated every June since at least 1970 and spotlights the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual communities and their ongoing fight for equal rights. "So many people out there don't have the support, love, or understanding from their families when it comes to their sexuality or gender identity, but just know that there is a beautiful community out there that loves you and cares about and for you!!" Gracie McGraw wrote in her message Tuesday. "Check on your people and keep safe out there. Give love to each other." Gracie McGraw is the oldest of three and has two younger sisters, Maggie McGraw, now 26, and Audrey McGraw, who is 23. Their parents -- Tim McGraw and Hill -- married back in October 1996.

Husband Couldn't Taste Their 'Gender Reveal' Milkshake. But His Wife's Reaction Said It All (Exclusive)

Sarah Smith and her husband Eli found out they were expecting their first child on Jan. 7 As the weeks passed, preparations for the sex reveal began Sarah, 28, started searching online for low-key reveal ideas. One in particular caught her eye: using milkshakesWhen Sarah Smith and her husband Eli found out they were expecting their first child on Jan. 7, the upstate New York-based couple — along with their families — were over the moon. As the weeks passed, preparations for the sex reveal began. Sarah, 28, started searching online for low-key reveal ideas. One in particular caught her eye: using milkshakes. The moment she saw it, she recalls thinking, 'This is it.' 'We've always tried to keep big moments between just the two of us, at least at first,' Sarah tells PEOPLE exclusively. 'It just felt more playful and different.' The reveal happened during a ski trip with friends in Bozeman, Mont. — a place that already holds deep meaning for the couple. It's where they honeymooned, and where they were legally married by proxy while Eli, 30, was stationed overseas. For the reveal, they went to a local spot in Bozeman called Burger Bob's. Once there, they explained the situation to their waitress, Brittney. The instructions were simple: strawberry for a girl, peanut butter for a boy. One shake, two straws, lots of whipped cream. Sarah handed Brittney a sealed envelope with the results from their blood test. 'She was totally into it and really made it special,' Sarah says. Not long after, Brittney returned with the milkshake. After one sip, Sarah tasted strawberry and recalls feeling overwhelmed, in the best way. But for Eli, the moment played out a little differently. 'I tend to hold stuff in when I'm processing big emotions, and in that moment, I had like a million things going on in my head, my straw wasn't working, I was trying to read her reaction, I wasn't even sure if I'd tasted anything yet,' he tells PEOPLE. 'But what really stopped me was her face. I've seen her happy plenty of times, but this was different. It was raw joy,' he adds. 'And knowing she's had some nerves about pregnancy and everything that comes with it … to see all that melt away and just be replaced by that much happiness, it was so sweet to see. I'll never forget it.' Sarah filmed the moment mostly to capture the memory for the pair and to share with family. She hadn't planned to post it publicly, but after sending it around to a few people, she uploaded it to TikTok, where she usually saves sweet memories. Then the video went viral, amassing more than 8.1 million views and 2,400 comments. 'It was wild,' Sarah says. 'I posted it and then just … walked away from my phone. When I came back, it had all these views and comments, and it just kept going. We hadn't even told all our friends we were expecting yet, so suddenly we were like, 'Okay, time to make some calls before people find out from TikTok.' Friends, coworkers, even people we hadn't talked to in years were texting like, 'Wait, is this you?!' ' 'Honestly, it's been really positive,' she adds. 'People seem to love the idea. A few comments were funny or even a little snarky, but nothing that bothered us. We just laugh about it. Some people are convinced Eli looks disappointed, which … he wasn't. But it's kind of hilarious to see the interpretations.' Now 25 weeks along, Sarah says that while the first trimester was tough, she's been enjoying the rest of the pregnancy. She's staying active, and everything just feels more meaningful. 'Every kick, every ultrasound, it gets me emotional every time," Sarah says. "I love setting up her room, shopping for baby clothes, all of it.' 'No way I could've waited until the birth — I really wanted to know," she adds of the baby's sex. "I was hoping for a girl, so finding out early felt important to me.' The couple already has a name picked out but plans to keep it private for now. But when it came to sharing the sex with the world, Sarah says she's glad they did. 'In a world where everything feels like it has to be shared or staged for an audience, this was a reminder that intimacy and authenticity still matter," the mom-to-be says. "It doesn't have to be perfect or go viral to be special. What made that milkshake moment unforgettable wasn't the setup, it was the emotion behind it." "The joy, the nervousness, the genuine surprise. We weren't acting for anyone," she adds. "We were just fully present with each other, and I think people could feel that."
