Estonia expels Russian diplomat over alleged subversive activities
Riga: Estonia has declared a staff member of the Russian embassy in Tallinn persona non grata and expelled him from the country over alleged subversive activities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tallinn said on Wednesday the chargé d'affaires of the Russian mission has been informed of the decision. 'The diplomat in question has been directly and actively involved in undermining the constitutional order and legal system of Estonia, as well as in dividing Estonian society, contributing to the crimes against the state, including several offences related to sanctions violations,' Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said in a statement. An Estonian citizen has already been convicted in connection with these activities, the minister said. 'The Russian embassy's ongoing interference in the internal affairs of the Republic of Estonia must end and by expelling the diplomat,' Tsahkna added. (DPA)

Qatar slams Israeli PM's ‘Greater Israel' vision remarks
QNA Doha The State of Qatar has expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the remarks made by the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation regarding the so-called 'Greater Israel' vision, considering them an extension of the occupation's arrogance-based approach, fomenting crises and conflicts, and constituting an egregious encroachment upon the sovereignty of nations,international law, the United Nations Charter, and resolutions of international legitimacy. The fabricated Israeli allegations and futile incitement will never undermine the legitimate rights of Arab nations and peoples. There must be solidarity within the international community to counter such provocations, which expose the region to violence and anarchy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in a statement on Wednesday. The ministry reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive, and enduring peace in the region, and at consolidating security and stability both regionally and globally.
