President Al-Mashat congratulates Arab, Islamic leaders on arrival of Hijri Year 1447 AH
Sana'a – SABA:
His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent congratulatory cables to the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1447 AH and the anniversary of the noble Prophet's migration—peace and blessings be upon him.
In his messages, President Al-Mashat extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the leaders, wishing them good health and continued progress and prosperity for their nations.
He stated: 'These blessed religious occasions come as we continue to face the immoral and inhumane aggression led by the Israeli entity—with American support—in the Middle East, aimed at subjugating the region and seizing its resources and sovereign decision-making.'
President Al-Mashat stressed that the only path forward for the Arab and Islamic nations to overcome crises and resist all forms of domination by evil powers is through unity and solidarity in defending the causes of the Ummah—foremost among them, the Palestinian cause.
He concluded his messages with prayers to Almighty Allah to bring this noble occasion back upon the Arab and Islamic nations with greater security, dignity, and prosperity.

Popular Front Calls for Formation of Community Protection Committees
Gaza - Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on Thursday held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the massacre carried out by settler gangs in the town of Kafr Malik, northeast of Ramallah. The PFLP stated that this crime is part of systematic policies of ethnic cleansing and ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the PFLP said: 'The surge in these crimes in recent months is happening under the cover of the Israeli military and with direct incitement from the so-called Israeli cabinet—led by war criminals Netanyahu, Ben Gvir, and Smotrich—who are pushing to inflame the Palestinian territories, escalate confrontations, and intensify Judaization, settlement expansion, annexation, and attacks across the West Bank and Jerusalem.' The group called for 'the immediate formation of popular protection committees in cities, villages, and refugee camps to confront settler attacks and safeguard our people.' It also emphasized that 'the Palestinian Authority's security services bear the responsibility of acting immediately to protect civilians and confront settler violence. This is an existential battle, and every Palestinian community is now a target.' The statement concluded: 'The blood of the martyrs in Kafr Malik will not be shed in vain. Our people will not stand idly by in the face of these assaults, and the occupation and its gangs will pay a heavy price for their crimes—no matter how long it takes.' Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
