New leak could have spilled all the Pixel 10 Pro Fold specs — here's what to expect

We're not far off the Made By Google event, which means the official reveal of the next generation of Google Pixels is almost here. However, as the event draws closer, we've also seen the rumor mill go into overdrive, including a recent leak showcasing the full technical specifications for Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
This leak comes from the German site Winfuture, showcasing nearly everything about the phone. For the most part, the leaked sheet matches a lot of what we've seen in other rumors, as well as the recent trailer for the phone, but there are more than a few differences as well.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold (winfuture)
Cover Display
6.4" OLED Actua
Inner Display
8-inch OLED Super Actua Flex
Refresh Rate
1-120Hz
Chipset
Google Tensor G5 + security chip Titan M2
RAM
16GB
Storage
256GB/512GB/1TB
Cameras
48MP wide-angle, 10.5MP ultra-wide-angle, 10.8MP 5x telephoto, 10MP selfie x 2
Battery
5,015 mAh
Charging
30W (wired) 15W (Qi2)
IP Rating
IP68
Overall, the specs in Winfuture's sheet appear relatively similar to other leaks we've seen, but there are a couple of differences to note. Firstly, the Winfuture specs appear to confirm that the outer screen will be 6.4 inches, while the inner display will be 8 inches. The report also reiterates that both displays will feature a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, 10% brighter than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Interestingly, the report from Winfuture lists the wired charging speed for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as 30W, rather than the 24W we'd seen in other leaks. However, it again supports the claim that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature 15W Qi2 charging, which is expected to connect with the rumored magnetic Pixel Snap accessories.
One odd thing in the report is that the spec sheet details the Pixel 10 Pro Fold featuring a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens, the same as seen on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. In the same piece, Winfuture states that the phone is capable of supporting 10x optical, or lossless zoom. Other than that, the cameras mostly appear to match the ones seen on last year's model, with a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide and a 10MP selfie camera on both screens.
For the most part, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is looking like a very decent foldable, albeit with some older hardware. While we will have to wait until we can test the phones ourselves, I have little doubt that it will find a place as one of the best foldable phones on release.
On that note, the Made By Google event is scheduled the August 20, while the phone itself is tipped for release on October 9. While we haven't seen an official price, a recent leak indicates that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will start at $1,799, the same as the prior generation. The report also indicates that the phone won't be seeing a price increase in Germany, so this seems likely.

iPhone 17 release date rumors — this could be the full schedule

Summer's winding down, and that means Apple's big annual keynote is just around the corner, promising exciting new announcements about the iPhone 17 line-up, new Apple Watches, and more. While Apple hasn't revealed the rollout's full schedule yet, the rhythm of iPhone launches feels as predictable as the turning leaves. If history serves, we have a pretty good guess when you'll be able to get your hands on a shiny new iPhone 17. Rumors suggest Apple will unveil its major fall product line-ups on September 9. If history serves, we expect the event to take place at the company's Cupertino campus, where the iPhone 17 series will be revealed. Notably, Apple's rumored to shake up the iPhone lineup this time around by replacing the Plus model with the super-thin iPhone 17 Air. In addition to the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, we expect Apple to debut the Apple Watch Series 11 and possibly the Apple Watch Ultra 3. A new version of the AirPods Pro, an updated Apple TV 4K, and the long-awaited smart home hub HomePod 3 could also make an appearance. Apple event announcement date 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET on August 26 iPhone 17 launch event September 9 iPhone 17, Air, and Pro available for pre-order September 12 iOS 26 release date September 15/16 iPhone 17, Air, and Pro on sale September 19 Apple's yet to confirm the keynote's official date, but trusted voices like Bloomberg's Mark Gurman and Forbes suggest we should hear more on that by Tuesday, August 26. That's also when invites should start rolling out via email to select members of the press. Looking at the time tables of previous iPhone generations, we're likely to see Apple open pre-orders for the iPhone 17 a few days later. Apple tends to roll out pre-orders on the Friday after the initial announcement, with sales going live the Friday after that. So if history serves, the iPhone 17 could go on sale on Friday, September 19. As for iOS 26, the latest update expected to ship with the iPhone 17, that's easy to pin down as well. Last year, Apple pushed out iOS 18 on September 16, exactly one week after its annual keynote and four days before the iPhone 16 series went on sale. If Apple follows the same pattern, we can expect iOS 26 to arrive on either Monday, September 15, or Tuesday, September 16. We don't have long to wait until we learn more. All signs point to Apple's iPhone 17 launch event being just a few short weeks away. Follow Tom's Guide on Google News to get our up-to-date news, how-tos, and reviews in your feeds. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is $600 off ahead of the new model's debut

Some people like to stay on the cutting edge of technology. If that's you, you already know that Google is going to officially unveil its Pixel 10 phones (including a new Fold) during its August 20th event. But if you're someone who prefers to use these opportunities to save on last-gen tech, you've been rewarded with a sweet deal on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The base 256GB version in obsidian (black) is down to $1,199 at Amazon and Best Buy, which is 33 percent off its original $1,799 price. It was selling for $100 more just last week. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold was a big leap forward compared to Google's first-gen foldable, touting a lightweight design that looks and feels like a normal phone before you unfold it. One of its main drawbacks was that, despite its high original price, you don't get the same great cameras in the cheaper Pixel 9 Pro (which, by the way, is only $599 at Best Buy). They're still good, mind you, but reviewer Allison Johnson said during her testing that its telephoto lens produced softer images by comparison, and low-light photos were less detailed. Drawbacks aside, she was eager to recommend the foldable phone at its original $1,800 price. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is nearly upon us, and it'll likely deliver some sizeable improvements. Google itself has already shown off its design in YouTube clips, and it's very similar to the model on sale now. However, there's a rumor that it might have an IP68 rating, which would make it dustproof. Dust was the kryptonite for early foldable models, but the tech has apparently come a long way since then, so this would be a huge selling point in favor of the new model if it's true.
