Miss Great Britain Glasgow finalist raises dementia awareness after gran's shock diagnosis
A big-hearted accounts assistant from Hamilton is raising awareness of a cause close to her heart as she sets her sights on the Miss Great Britain Glasgow crown next week.
Jenna Kinnaird, who volunteers for Kilbryde Hospice, has been named a finalist in the glitzy ceremony which will take place in Larkhall's Radstone Hotel on June 20.
The stunning 20-year-old brunette will compete against dozens of other beauties for the coveted title for the chance to win a place in the Miss Great Britain national final in October.
And while the former St John Ogilvie High School pupil says it would be a "dream" to win the contest, Jenna, who is competing for the second year in a row, is most proud to be raising awareness and funds for Dementia UK following her gran's shock diagnosis.

She told Lanarkshire Live:"My gran was 71 when she diagnosed with dementia at Christmas last year. She had been working as a home carer for people with memory loss right up to when she was diagnosed. It was very fast moving as she was working at the start of the week, and by the end of the week she could no longer live alone.
"It completely turned our lives upside down when her memory deteriorated. I knew I had to look into how the dementia affected my gran's capability to live alone and wanted to educate others on the whole process that comes with it and how it not only affects the older generation, but young people too.
"My family and I never thought dementia would be something that we would have to deal with so soon. I knew I had to use my platform to let people know there is help out there."
As well as taking part in a charity run for Hamilton Judo Club, Jenna was determined to raise funds for Dementia UK after her gran's sudden illness.
Last month she held a quiz night at Giovanni's Italian Kitchen restaurant in her hometown which raised over £600.
Shy and introverted as a child, Jenna says pageanting has given her the confidence to shine on stage and she can't wait to show the judges all the good work she has been doing for her local community in the lead up to the final.
Jenna will compete in four rounds on pageant day in the hope of being crowned Miss Great Britain Glasgow: interview, swimwear, fashion and eveningwear.
Jenna added: "I was always really shy and anxious as a child. In school I was quite quiet, very introverted.
"I've always been more confident on social media and was approached by Miss Great Britain Glasgow via Instagram. I just went for it and it definitely built my confidence so much that I decided to do it again this year.
"I'm so excited to take part in the finals. I'm excited to show the judges all the work that I've put in this year, compared to last year.
"I love my community and I love helping out so I want to show that I'm prepared to make that time for others. With all the things I've done and the people I've met, I already have a feeling of proudness. I'm getting to go up on that stage and show everything I've done which I feel really good about."
She continued: "And raising money and awareness for a charity so close to my heart, it does already feel like I've won. It's everyone's dream to win, but I'd be so happy for any of the other girls to win as we've became such good friends, it's so nice to see.
"My family are over the moon - they're my biggest supporters. And I don't drive so they're my taxi rides here, there and everywhere! My sister Hanna is autistic and really struggles with her confidence so she always tells me how much it means to her that I get up on the stage."

Brooks Nader laughs off X-rated wardrobe malfunction in plunging dress during ritzy yacht trip
Brooks Nader poked fun of a recent X-rated wardrobe malfunction she suffered during a ritzy yacht trip. The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to share footage from the getaway, where she wore a plunging tight white dress. At one point her dress slipped down, exposing her chest. However, Brooks laughed it off putting two star emojis to cover her nipples, and shared the video anyway. The blonde bombshell — who also suffered a wild outfit malfunction in July — completed her sizzling look with a chunky gold Chanel choker and another matching chain. Her golden hair was shielded with a straw cowboy hat, and her eyes covered with sunglasses. Another image showed her with relaxing on the boat with pal Zach Zumbusch, whom she called her 'bestie for life.' Brooks Nader, 28, poked fun of a recent X-rated wardrobe malfunction she suffered during a ritzy yacht trip as she share footage from the getaway to her Instagram over the weekend The star also shared more dressed-up snaps from another night on the yacht. On Saturday, she posted photos of herself in a sizzling blue corset dress from Italian designer Ermanno Scervino. She accessorized the eye-catching look with a cowboy hat featuring a beaded fringe. Brooks added to her height with a pair of strappy blue heels. She was joined by her sisters Grace Ann Nader, Mary Holland Nader and Sarah Jane Nader. It comes after the star suffered yet another wardrobe malfunction while attending the 2025 ESPY Awards in July. Brooks sizzled on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in a plunging cream silk dress. However, the low-cut design unfortunately ended with her revealing a bit too much. The braless star suffered a mishap as her dress pulled to the side, resulting in a nip slip. The model was pictured fixing the issue as she adjusted the neckline with both her hands. Later she was seen holding her dress in place while walking onto the stage alongside Joey Logano. The incident comes after Brooks also encountered a wardrobe malfunction at Wimbledon, when her menstrual cycle began, causing bleeding that became visible on her white skirt. The mishap resulted in her getting a partnership with a tampon brand. The star also shared more dressed-up snaps from another night on the yacht. On Saturday, she posted photos of herself in a sizzling blue corset dress She accessorized the eye-catching look with a cowboy hat featuring a beaded fringe The star stuck to the themes of summertime and tennis, slipping into a white skirt for the world-famous tournament. But while she was in public, her period started and she bled through the fabric, with stains visible along the back of the skirt. She laughed off the snafu on TikTok, posting a video of herself getting confidently up from a table only for her sisters to start cringing at her. At that point Brooks turned around and the shot ran down the length of her outfit, so that the stains were in clear view on camera. The Baton Rouge-born clotheshorse poked fun at herself the in text over the video as well, writing: 'tries to be chic,' and then: 'Starts [blood emoji] at Wimbledon.' Fans leapt into the comments to praise her for being 'real' and 'NORMALIZING it,' with one writing: 'A canon event for all us girlies.' And it appears the mishap paid off, as afterwards she reveled her collaboration with U by Kotex, a brand known for making menstrual products for women. Brooks also had another wardrobe malfunction in April at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards, where her structured dress drifted forward at one point and exposed her left nipple. Her latest outing comes three months after confirmed she has once again split from Dancing With The Stars pro Gleb Savchenko, 41. Brooks and Gleb started dating while competing as a team on Dancing With The Stars last autumn, triggering allegations they were engaged in a 'showmance.' They briefly broke up late last year but rekindled their romance, until it emerged in early April that Brooks had decided to leave him. Gleb was previously married to Russian artist Elena Samodanova for 14 years until she filed for divorce near the end of 2020. She also suffered a wild wardrobe malfunction when she attended the Fashion Los Angeles Awards in April Meanwhile, Brooks was seen chatting with Tom Brady at Michael Rubin's star-studded Fourth Of July party in 2024, setting off an avalanche of dating rumors. Brooks separated from her husband Billy Haire in May 2024 after four years of marriage. Brooks first rose to fame by winning the Sports Illustrated Swim Search in 2019, and last year she was featured on the cover of the Swimsuit Issue. She and her sisters Mary, Grace and Sara are now all starring together on a reality show called Love Thy Nader, slated to bow on Hulu and Freeform this summer.

Bec Judd offers to sell her luxe Melbourne mansion for a staggering $70m
Bec Judd has named the price it would take to sell her family home in Melbourne's Brighton. The AFL WAG took to social media on Sunday to share an image from the lavish property she shares with husband Chris, and their four children. In the accompanying caption, the 42-year-old revealed the eye-watering amount it would take her family to relocate from the desirable bayside property. 'No, we are not selling. But if somebody wants to pay 10 times market rates, then sure, it's all yours,' she wrote. Bec and Chris moved into the $7.3million mansion in December 2019. They have since conducted extensive renovation work on the property, increasing its value, including installing an extra bedroom and rumpus room. The power couple originally purchased the sprawling house in March 2018, and commenced a complete makeover before moving in. A gallery of photos shared to Instagram showed the backyard pool area under construction. After building was completed, the space was transformed into an entertainment oasis, with rendered rock, a magnesium pool and an outdoor kitchen. Other improvements on the lavish property include replacing the mansion's aesthetic and apricot colour palette with stylish greys and blacks, adding modern touches like gold brass fittings, marble and steel doors. The couple kept the home's defining architectural feature, its arches, and used this shape as a theme throughout the interior. Also inside the home is a gym, and a wet bar complete with a snooker table. Highlights include an ensuite bathroom featuring a giant arch-shaped mirror that reflects the Spanish colonial architecture. The influencer's fondness for gold brass fittings, black frames and marble continues in the bathrooms. 'No, we are not selling. But if somebody wants to pay 10 times market rates, then sure, it's all yours,' she wrote Bec and Chris share four children; daughter Billie, 11, son Oscar, 14, and twins Darcy and Tom, nine. It follows reports the pair sold their beautiful renovated Mornington Peninsula property, which was listed on the market for $2.85million to $3million. In May, Bec and Chris finalised the sale of the stunning property for an undisclosed sum. Marshall White Stonnington director Ben Veith oversaw the sale and told the Judds were happy with the process, labelling it a 'good result'. He added Bec had had significant input into the renovation process of the beloved property: 'This was genuinely designed by Bec, and it speaks for itself.' They first purchased the Arthur's Seat property in 2016 and spent several years turning the 1970s-built brick house into a family retreat, with the help of The Melbourne Builder & Co.
