Love Island: Everything To Know About Returning Bombshell Blu Chegini

Graziadaily6 days ago
It seemed Blu Chegini's Love Island journey was destined to be short and sweet, dumped from the island after merely four days of this series.
That is, until a mega twist saw him stroll back into the villa earlier this week alongside fellow dumped islander Megan Forte Clarke.
It was a move that left fans divided - with many pointing out that returning islanders have a certain view of the villa happenings that the rest lack.
'It's so annoying to see Blu and Meghan back because they're now PR trained and know what the public like and don't like,' wrote one fan on X.
And after he pulled Yas – who was recently voted favourite girl by the public – for a chat, another added, 'They sent Blu in there to mess up Yas's chance of winning Love Island.'
'Blu going for Yasmin since he knows she's the most loved on the outside... Yas, don't fall for it,' wrote another.
Here's everything you need to know about OG islander-turned-bombshell, Blu Chegini.
Blu Chegini is an islander from Love Island series 12. He appeared on the show as an OG, before becoming the second islander to be dumped. He later returned as a bombshell.
Asked what he's looking for in the villa, Blu said, 'Someone who is family oriented, has a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive. Personality goes a long way.'
Reportedly born on 13 March, 1999, Blu is 26 years old.
Blu currently works in construction project management, having graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2023. When he's not working, he's an avid boxer who competes in matches. He's also a model, having recently signed to Undivided model agency.
Blu's parents, however, have a very different job. His mum is the owner of a sex shop in Marbella. Opening up about her job, Blu told ITV, 'My mum owns a sex shop in Spain, which everyone knows and is quite popular. Growing up as a kid I was laughed at for it, but little did people know that all their parents were buying stuff from there.'
He came back to the villa as a shock bombshell alongside Megan ©ITV
Blu is originally from London, but was raised in Spain after his parents relocated when he was a toddler. He lived abroad until the age of 17, when he returned to the UK.
During a recent flirty chat with Yas, Blu also revealed that he is half Persian – just like her.
On the first episode of Love Island 2025, Blu found himself coupled up with Alima Gagigo after being picked based on a fabricated dating profile. But while Alima was happy with her decision, Blu was less so. When questioned about his feelings towards Alima, Blu was quick to describe every other girl in the villa as 'beautiful.' He later admitted that Alima wasn't his 'type on paper', and the couple went their separate ways.
Blu then attempted to forge connections with other Islanders, even sharing a kiss in the Hideaway with Shakira Khan. However, he struggled to find a genuine bond and became the second islander to be dumped – despite insisting 'I'm not f*cking going.' The choice came from his fellow islanders, who chose to keep newcomer Shea Mannings in the villa. Returning to the villa, Blu declared, 'I told you all from the get-go I'm not leaving, and I'm not f*cking leaving.'
Since his villa return, Blu is having fun getting to know all the girls. Picking Angel Swift for a date, Blu's also been getting to know Yas Pettet. The couple shared a flirty chat, where Blu admitted to loving her 'sexual energy'.
Yes, he has! You can follow him on Instagram @bluchegini, where he shares pictures of his modelling shoots and boxing escapades.

Meet Man Utd and Newcastle target Benjamin Sesko's stunning Wag whose brother is Love Islander

BENJAMIN SESKO could be Premier League bound this summer with Newcastle and Manchester United both vying for his signature. His red-hot form in the Bundesliga has caught the attention of plenty of top clubs in England, and the Slovenian striker wouldn't have done it all without the support of his girlfriend Anita Vidovic. 6 6 6 Anita, 27, has been Sesko's rock throughout his career and the Ljubljana native could join him in the UK if he does seal a move to the Premier League. Anita has grown up around football thanks to her brother's efforts in Germany and Poland's lower leagues. Boris, 28, retired from professional football in 2024 having had stints with clubs like TSV Bicken and Ritzing. But he has since turned his attention to other ventures, making an appearance on Love Island season 12 as a Casa Amor bombshell. Anita, meanwhile, is a graduate of the Faculty of Public Administration and now shares plenty of her relationship with Sesko on social media. The couple are always looking smitten in their online updates and first made an appearance on social media together back in 2022. Sesko was just 19 at the time, with Anita five years his senior at the age of 24. Now 22, Sesko regularly shares snaps of Anita to his social media too. 6 6 Anita is always supporting Sesko in his footballing endeavours, sharing pictures of herself wearing his shirts and videos from the stands at his games. While she also showcases the football ace's thoughtful acts on her TikTok with her videos amassing around 20,000 views on average. In a recent video of the couple's jet-setting lifestyle Anita wrote in the caption: "It was always you". The globetrotting could continue if Sesko lands his big move to the Premier League. Both Man Utd and Newcastle are thought to be interested in the striker, who was also subject to negotiations with Arsenal earlier in the transfer window. The Slovenia international scored 13 goals and registered five assists in the Bundesliga last season and has been tipped to be one of the best strikers in the world in the future. It's understood that RB Leipzig are looking for a base fee of around £65m for their star man, with the potential of significant add-ons and a future sell-on percentage. Sesko's current deal in Leipzig runs until 2029, but it's reported that a package in the region of £69m to £78m could convince the German club to sell. 6

Destination X review — Traitors wannabe as iffy as Rob Brydon's blazer

The first puzzling thing about BBC1's new game show Destination X (and there are quite a few) is why the host, Rob Brydon, has chosen to dress like Alan Partridge in his Knowing Me, Knowing You era. I can see now why they needed those two buses: one for the contestants and one, presumably, for Brydon's many double-breasted blazers. Another mystery is why the programme-makers decided to make this show so needlessly convoluted and drab. Heed the lesson of the woeful ITV game show Genius Game hosted by David Tennant, which I wrote was ridiculously complicated and duller than the instructions on a tub of tiling grout. It is rumoured to have been axed already, having achieved viewing figures of only 661,000 by the end of the eight-episode run. Unless Destination X gets much better very quickly it may suffer the same fate. To be fair, it is not as bad as Genius Game, even though it seems to be mildly desperate to launch the catchphrase 'Where the X am I?' judging by the number of times Brydon said it. Destination X is billed as a cross between The Traitors and Race Across the World, but I think it is nothing like either. The beauty of The Traitors is its melodramatic campness and that the premise is fairly simple. The viewer knows exactly what is happening, who is wrong, who is right, who is backstabbing whom. Here, though, we are in the same boat as the contestants, mainly because we are being urged to 'play at home' by entering a virtual map room via a QR code on screen. My heart sinks whenever restaurants make you use a QR code to bring up their menu, so I'm not doing it on my sofa. The idea of using 'Europe as a boardgame', the contestants travelling across the continent on a bus with blacked-out windows and occasionally high-tech goggles to stop them seeing where they are, is not a bad one and could be seen as a sort of offline version of GeoGuessr, a game in which players must work out the location of somewhere in the world from Google Street View imagery. Except here they get to peer out of a 'box of tricks' in a town square at staged cameos of, for example, a bunch of tulips ('Is it Amsterdam?') or a St Bernard dog (are we in the Alps?). The person in the map room whose eventual guess is furthest from the correct location is sent home. • Read more TV reviews, guides about what to watch and interviews It started fairly promisingly, if stagily, in a German airport, where we had the usual reality TV slop of a contestant saying effectively, 'I'll win this,' before promptly being eliminated at the departure gate. I did like the observation tests, the minor details and names they had to remember, which is a good grey matter test. But by the time Brydon had later finished explaining the unnecessarily confusing rules I had mentally checked out. The show lacked momentum, with the events feeling a bit random. I ended up not caring 'where the X' they were or who got sent home. It's not a good sign, is it, that one contestant asks to leave before episode one has finished. And if you're going to hire the very funny Brydon, why not give him more opportunities to be funny? Instead it all felt strangely humourless and as airless as that bus. On the plus side, Brydon's blazer choice for episode two is in a nice cranberry red.★★☆☆☆ Love TV?
