Alix Earle reveals plans after boyfriend Braxton Berrios signs with Houston Texans

Yahoo19-05-2025

When wide receiver and return specialist Braxton Berrios signed with the Houston Texans in March, it wasn't just him who was going to have to relocate. His girlfriend, social media influencer and model Alix Earle, was naturally along for the ride.
At Thursday's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Launch Party, Earle talked to People Magazine about how the couple is adjusting to southeast Texas and their plans for their first year in Houston.
"I just recently got a pair of red cowboy boots because I was like, 'We have to wear this for a game'," Earle told People.

The 24-year-old was born in Monmouth County, New Jersey and moved to South Florida to attend college at the University of Miami. With Berrios leaving the Miami Dolphins to sign with the Texans, Earle said the couple wanted to find places where they could be comfortable in their new environment.
"Date night spots are really important for Braxton and I — so finding our spots there, our restaurants, finding a coffee spot there was really important," she shared.

Earle also informed the magazine that this doesn't mean she is planning to relocate from Miami, but just set up a new spot in the Lone Star State to support her boyfriend.

In the same interview, she praised the new Texans utilityman for being supportive of her career, telling People Magazine, "He knows I have to travel and can't be with him all the time and he's so supportive of that... I feel like that's kind of hard to find in a guy sometimes."
For Berrios, he joins a Texans wide receiver room that is crowded after leaving the Miami Dolphins. His main role on his new team will likely be on special teams as a return specialist. He missed most of last season after suffering a torn ACL during a Week 7 matchup but is trending towards a return for next season.
If Berrios is healthy, he could play a big part in the Texans' trek for the franchise's first Super Bowl championship.

Dan Marino Issues Blunt Warning to Steelers About Aaron Rodgers

Dan Marino Issues Blunt Warning to Steelers About Aaron Rodgers originally appeared on Athlon Sports. After months of fans begging free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers to make a decision, he finally obliged. Advertisement On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced they had reached a one-year deal with the four-time MVP just ahead of the team's mandatory minicamp, ending the near 10 weeks of speculation about whether or not Rodgers would play in 2025 or retire. Many have weighed in on the Steelers' situation in the 24 hours since the Rodgers news became official, but one former player's opinion that stuck out above the others is that of legendary Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino. During a recent radio interview with 93.7 The Fan, the nine-time Pro Bowler admitted that while he still believes in Rodgers to play at a high level, he has some serious questions about where Rodgers' head is it, and he sent a subtle message to the Steelers to essentially proceed with caution. Legendary Miami Dolphins QB Dan MarinoJasen Vinlove-Imagn Images 'I still think Aaron has some game,' Marino disclosed. 'He does. He can throw it as good as anybody that has ever thrown the football. If his mind's into it and he's ready to go and that works. I don't think it would be an issue with the Steelers. Advertisement 'But you got to have someone that really wants to play there. And he's getting older. So I don't know what his mindset is. But he does still have talent.' There is some good news for the Steelers and their fans should the Rodgers' signing not pan out. Former New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.© Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh is financially investing very little in the 41-year-old QB. 'Aaron Rodgers said on the 'Pat McAfee Show' he'd play for $10 million, and that's where the base salary is expected to be with some incentives to get a little higher,' Rapoport stated on Friday. 'It is not going to be a big-money deal.' If Rodgers struggles or things go sideways between he and the Steelers, the team can turn to Mason Rudolph, who has an 8-4-1 record as the Steelers' starter in his previous four seasons with the team. Alexis Bledel's Dating History Over The Years Includes A Few ‘Gilmore Girls' Loves, Too

Alexis Bledel is best known for playing Rory Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, a character whose love life fans are very passionate about. And Alexis dated some of her onscreen boyfriends too! Earlier this week, my phone buzzed with a text from a friend I hadn't spoken to in three months. 'Dean, Jess, Tristan, or Logan?' she asked. Sensing the urgency of the situation, I immediately responded, 'Logan 100000 percent.' I've elected myself president of the Logan Huntzberger Fan Club since the first time I watched Gilmore Girls. I firmly believe that Logan is the best partner for Rory. Sorry to all the Jess girlies out there — and if we're looking at off-screen relationships, that includes Alexis Bledel. Any Gilmore Girls fan worth their coffee knows Rory Gilmore's dating history like the back of their hand, but Alexis Bledel's dating history is much more low-key. The star is much more private, but just like Rory, she's captured her fair share of hearts over the years, including two of her Gilmore Girls love interests! Rory may have Dean, Jess, Tristan, and Logan, but Alexis has Jared, Chris, Milo, John, and Vincent. This might be controversial, but I think Dean was the best first boyfriend Rory could have had. As far as we know, Jared Padalecki was the best first boyfriend Alexis Bledel could have had, too. The Supernatural alum confirmed he and Bledel dated while filming Gilmore Girls Season 1. 'When Alexis and I met, we were both 17 years old and were both Texans and kind of in this new, strange city and I was like, 'Hey, want to go out to dinner?'" he told Glamour in 2021. 'I don't know if we tried to keep it a secret. I wish it was scandalous or something! I think it was more kind of silly.' I guess he really was 'her Dean.' Bledel may have dated two of her Gilmore Girls love interests, but she dated three of her Gilmore Girls co-stars. Chris Heuisler had a small role as a Stars Hollow High basketball player in Season 2 Episode 11, titled 'Secrets and Loans.' The pair didn't interact onscreen, but casting director Mara Casey told Life & Style that they were briefly together offscreen. Okay, even though I'm Team Logan, I happily admit that Rory and Jess had crazy onscreen chemistry. That's probably because their actors dated for three years in real life! They started dating halfway through filming Season 2 (which was around 2002 and was the season Jess moves to Stars Hollow) and broke up in 2006. They've stayed on good terms since; Ventimiglia even Bledel on her Emmy nomination in 2017. Alexis Bledel briefly dated this British model between 2010 and 2011. They were photographed attending a for Kate Spade's new fragrance in September 2010. Bledel guest-starred on Season 5 of Mad Men as the mistress of Pete Campbell (played by Vincent Kartheiser). Their illicit affair was totally above board in real life. They waited to begin dating two months after filming wrapped, got engaged a year later, and tied the knot in a in June 2014, according to US. The couple were careful to keep the details of their relationship private, so the world was happily surprised to learn — from , who played Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls — that they welcomed a son in fall 2015. In 2022, Us Weekly reported that Kartheiser had filed for divorce after eight years of marriage. Bledel currently appears to be single. I may be on Team Logan for Rory, but I'm on Team Alexis for Rory's real-life counterpart. Check out for even more celebrity relationship content! This post has been updated.

Commanders Defense Got 'Bigger and Stronger' in 2025

Commanders Defense Got 'Bigger and Stronger' in 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. During the 2025 offseason, the Washington Commanders made several high-profile additions to their offense. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel and left tackle Laremy Tunsil stole the show as the biggest acquisitions of the offseason. Advertisement But … Washington made some shrewd moves on the defensive end as well. And those moves have led defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr. to believe the unit has gotten better than last year's mark. 'We're really excited about the guys that we added," Whitt said. "We wanted to get bigger and longer. We definitely did that up front. We did in the back end also with [CB] Trey [Amos]. "So, the vision of how we want to play and how we want to be and how we want to look, you're seeing more of it right now from a size and length and speed standpoint.' Washington did lose free agents like safety Jeremy Chinn and edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr. Both players were important to Washington's turnaround last season on the defensive end. Advertisement But with another year in their system, Washington is hoping the current group will get even better. They drafted Amos with their second-round pick and signed Javon Kinlaw, Deatrich Wise Jr., and Will Harris to free agent contracts. These moves may not stick out quite like the Samuel or Tunsil trades, but they are important for the team in 2025. And if this all works out … each addition on the defensive end may end up helping Washington reach the Super Bowl for the first time in decades.
