Liam and Noel Gallagher's brother Paul dropped from Oasis afterparty after rape

Metro9 hours ago
Paul Gallagher will no longer perform at an official afterparty in Dublin this weekend, ahead of his scheduled court appearance later this month.
The elder brother of Oasis frontmen Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, 59, had been due to DJ at The Grand Social on Saturday to coincide with the band's two sold-out Croke Park shows on August 16 and 17.
The venue confirmed that he had been removed from the line-up, with Mani of The Stone Roses now set to perform on Saturday night, and former Creation Records boss Alan McGee on Sunday.
In July, the Metropolitan Police announced Gallagher had been charged with multiple offences, including rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
In a statement to Metro, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: 'The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022 – 2024. The charges follow an investigation that commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially-trained officers.'
Gallagher, who lives in East Finchley, north London, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, August 27.
The afterparties are part of a series of fan events organised by Up Close and Personal Promotions to accompany the Oasis Live '25 tour, the long-awaited reunion announced last August.
It was previously reported that Liam has moved his brother Paul into his £4million mansion ahead of his court date this month.
According to The Sun, younger brother Liam is supporting his older sibling by allowing him to stay at his home in North London.
A source for the publication also reports that Liam flew Paul to the band's latest gig in Edinburgh, utilising a £3.5million private jet.
Pictures obtained by The Sun on Sunday depict Liam and Paul arriving at Luton airport, where they laughed and joked before hopping on the private jet together.
Another image shows Paul at Liam's London mansion, dragging wheely luggage behind him as he carries a heavy backpack.
A source told the publication: 'Liam is supporting Paul through this. He invited him to stay with him at his house before they travelled to Edinburgh.
'Paul looked like he was moving in and had two large suitcases. When he was at the airport he only had one smaller case.' More Trending
'It says a lot about Liam. He has an incredibly hectic schedule at the moment because of the tour — but he wants to be there for his big brother.'
The third Gallagher sibling has never been a member of Oasis, but worked as a DJ and photographer while the band toured back in the day.
The reunion tour began in Cardiff in July, before heading to Manchester, London, and Edinburgh, and will continue across Ireland and Europe in the coming weeks.
Oasis last performed together in 2009, when a backstage row between Liam and Noel Gallagher led to their dramatic split,.

Oasis 'flooded with huge offers for 2026 shows including Knebworth' amid reunion success

Liam and Noel Gallagher could carry on their huge Oasis reunion tour into next year as offers have reportedly been put to the band as the decision is all in their hands Oasis are said to have been inundaded with offers for shows for next year following their mega reunion this year. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher put their decades long feud aside as they reunited the iconic band for a string of shows. ‌ They kicked off in Cardiff last month before heading to Manchester, London and Edinburgh. The Britpop stars are set to carry on to Dublin before moving over to the US, Asia, Australasia and South America. ‌ Rumours have already been circulating that Oasis could carry on into 2026. It comes after Paul Weller revealed the unusual reason he refuses to watch Oasis concerts. ‌ Fans are hoping Oasis will head to Knebworth House next year as they mark the 30th anniversary of their two historic shows there. It would mean they would tip rival Robbie Williams off the post as the artist to have played the most shows at the Hertfordshire venue. According to the Sun, Oasis has been offered four dates at Knebworth along with a possible residency at their beloved Manchester City's Etihad Stadium. Fake posters of a 2026 tour have already appeared online as fans hold out hope for a chance to see the brothers back in action. ‌ However, it all boils down to whether Liam and Noel are really up for carrying it on. 'They'll be having a well-earned holiday as soon as this tour finishes later this year,' a source told the publication. 'As for 2026, they've seen the speculation, they've heard about the offers and they know what the fans want. But it's ultimately up for them to decide." Oasis: What's Their Story? An unofficial celebration magazine on sale now! A few simple words on social media on August 27 in 2024 were enough to spark pandemonium among Oasis fans and were the catalyst for the most eagerly awaited UK gigs of all time. This special unofficial magazine, available to order here, marks the reunion and honours the band both now and down the years with our incredible archive of photos and interviews - and with exclusive reviews and photographs of their first show! ‌ They added that it is up for Liam and Noel to weigh up if they want to "draw a line in the sand" or "keep the magic going". Yet, it is a "difficult decision". Festivals have also been holding out hope to bag Oasis at their events as they added both Coachella and Benicassim have sent offers to the band. The current tour was announced last year, almost 15 years to the date of their split, and a move that fans never believed would happen due to the tensions between Liam and Noel. ‌ Ever since Noel walked away, the two siblings have hurled insults at one another across social media and in interviews. But now, those days are firmly in the past with the two brothers walking out on stage each night holding hands, as though there had never been any bad blood. Oasis' manager, Alec McKinlay, previously said that the current dates are the only ones that the band will be performing. He said in May: "This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press. ‌ "It's a chance for fans who haven't seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. No, there's no plans for any new music." But Liam later hit out at the comments, saying that they came from "the accountant". Replying to a fan on X, he fumed: "Neither do I and the only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID [Noel] so let's just take it one day at a time."

He previously dated presenter Hayley Palmer from 2023 until splitting in 2024. Speaking to the Daily Mail , the 44-year-old gave her verdict on her Mark's search for new love. Although wishing her ex well, Hayley said she did not intend on watching him in the E4 show. She added: "A year later, I've been able to turn past trauma into something positive. "I feel like I've done a lot of glowing up. I am in a really strong, happy place. Feeling very grounded." Mark and Hayley confirmed their split in May 2024, just days after their one-year anniversary. Taking to Instagram at the time, Hayley wrote in her Story: 'It is with regret I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways. "We had the best year together and I truly wish him all the best for the future." The Sun later told how Mark took a swipe at his ex, saying he would only consider divorcing estranged wife Katie if he met someone serious. EXCL The Chase's Mark Labbett reveals he was forced to quit date after shock health scare Mark married Katie - who is also his second cousin - in 2014 and they separated in 2020. The former couple also welcomed a son during their marriage. He said: 'It will happen if either Katie or I get with someone serious — then it might obviously be a different matter.' Mark spoke out after Hayley told The Sun a month earlier that his break-up with her a week after their one-year anniversary left her 'completely crushed'. She said at the time: 'The whole thing was traumatic, and it's been a journey to heal from it. He was truly beastly.' But Mark feels relieved, explaining: 'I'm just quite content being on my own. 'Facts are easy. Numbers are easy. People are complicated. 'I could sum me up as the kind of guy who could tell you the capital of Estonia is Tallinn but would have no idea why that pretty girl is giving me a funny half-smile. 'That's why I never played poker seriously, because I realised I can't read people.' Mark Labbett and Hayley Palmer relationship timeline May 16, 2023 - The pair went on their first date to a Toby Carvery in Southsea, Portsmouth. December 24, 2023 - The couple decided to record a podcast together after being in a relationship for several months. They planned to cover everything from Mark wooing Hayley with his Toby Carvery card to dating in the public eye, shopping trips, their big rule of not sharing chips and hilarious inside jokes. May 25, 2024 - Mark broke up with Hayley over the phone, saying he wasn't ready to finalise his divorce with his ex wife Katie. Meanwhile, Hayley later fired back at these comments. Taking to Instagram, she told fans: 'I think it's a shame that someone could say something so heartless over a relationship that lasted over a year. "I have moved on and working to be the best version of myself. "I think what is actually serious is Mental Health and we should all be working together towards a caring Christmas. X."
