From Monday, customers across the UK will notice some fresh new titles appearing in their Sky TV listings.
The changes will affect users on Sky+, Sky Q and the newer Sky Glass and Stream platforms.
The rebrands are mostly part of Sky's regular themed pop-up strategy, which sees movie channels temporarily switching names to spotlight certain actors, franchises or genres.
One of the first big switches will see Sky Mega Hits return to its old title of Sky Hits HD.

That means fans can expect the usual line-up of mainstream blockbusters and all-time favourites.
Meanwhile, Sky Mission Impossible, which only arrived a few days earlier as a tribute to Tom Cruise's spy series, will make way for Sky 80s HD.
This channel will be packed with cult classics and nostalgic hits from the neon decade.
The changes aren't just limited to films either.

On Wednesday 21 May, two music channels are getting seasonal makeovers.
That's Oldies will rebrand as That's Summer, likely serving up sunshine tunes and feel-good throwbacks for the warmer months.
At the same time, That's Dance will become That's Pride, expected to feature LGBTQ+ anthems and content in the lead-up to Pride Month.
Sky will continue the refresh on Friday 23 May, when family-friendly channel Sky Family is swapped out for Sky Fairytale.

As the name suggests, this version of the channel is expected to focus on magical movies, fairytale favourites, and fantasy fun for all ages.
Then, just one day later on Saturday 24 May, Sky Cinema Action will once again rebrand – this time to Sky M:I, dedicated solely to the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Tom Cruise fans won't have long to wait between themed channels, with his biggest hits still taking centre stage across the schedule.
These channel switches come at a time of big changes in the TV world.

Earlier this year, Sky and Virgin Media users saw several long-standing channels close down completely.
Eurosport, Pop Max, and Sky History+1 have all disappeared from screens.
Much of Eurosport's content has been folded into TNT Sports, while Pop Max now lives online, and the closure of Sky History+1 is seen as a response to declining demand for time-shift channels thanks to on-demand viewing.
So far, no new channel closures have been announced, but experts believe more are likely to come as streaming services continue to reshape traditional TV habits.

With Sky regularly adjusting its line-up, customers are being encouraged to keep an eye on their guides for the latest updates.
The channel changes taking place from 19 May are expected to last for several days or weeks, depending on the theme.
Sky has not confirmed how long the temporary names will stick around, but viewers can usually expect them to run through short promotions, film seasons, or event tie-ins.
Whether you're into action, nostalgia, or musical throwbacks, there's something for everyone in this latest update.

But don't be surprised if your favourite Sky channel suddenly looks a little different next time you turn on the telly.
This is just the start - more changes ahead
Analysis by Jamie Harris, Assistant Technology and Science Editor at The Sun
Broadcasting is going through an almighty shift at the moment with the push toward streaming at a key point.
Eurosport and TNT Sports owner Warner Bros Discovery is making some big changes next year.
And it's likely Discovery+ will disappear as a result.
The UK is one of the few big markets where Max hasn't launched yet because of existing agreements with Sky, allowing Sky Atlantic to air big HBO-made hits like Game of Thrones and The White Lotus.
But the pair recently announced a new deal that will pave the way for Max's launch in the UK early 2026 as a standalone app, while Sky customers will get access at no extra cost.
So expect even bigger changes in the TV and streaming world next year.

Game of Thrones and Handmaid's Tale stars spotted in 'explosive' trailer for new thriller

Stars from two of the biggest shows of the century are going head-to-head in an upcoming thriller on Sky Sky has just released a brand new trailer for its upcoming thriller series, Atomic, starring some very recognisable names from the world of TV. ‌ The gripping new footage released this Thursday (14th August) promises plenty of action and jaw-dropping twists and turns throughout this high-stakes chase across North Africa and the Middle East. ‌ Game of Thrones icon Alfie Allen leads the series as a drug smuggler who gets mixed up with wanderer JJ, played by Star Trek: Discovery's Shazad Latif. ‌ When they find themselves inadvertently trafficking some valuable and volatile cargo, their mission catches the attention of worldwide enforcers who will stop at nothing to take them down. The Handmaid's Tale star Samira Wiley heads up their opposition as Cassie Elliott, who's determined to bring them in after falsely connecting them to dangerous elements. An official synopsis reads: 'When the path of free-spirited drug smuggler Max (Allen) collides with JJ (Latif), an enigmatic outsider on the run, an unlikely friendship is formed. 'They're swept into a chaotic, high-stakes mission they never signed up for— trafficking highly enriched uranium across North Africa and the Middle East, with the CIA, MI6, and a global web of opposing forces closing in fast. 'Leading the charge for the CIA is highly skilled scientist and a Non-Official Cover (NOC) officer Cassie Elliott (Wiley). ‌ 'Convinced Max and JJ are in league with violent extremists, her relentless pursuit puts them all on a collision course revealing that nothing is what it seems, and everyone has an ulterior motive. 'The pair find themselves on a wild road trip, confronting covert operatives, an internationally funded cartel, and ultimately their own pasts. ‌ 'What starts as a bid for survival slowly becomes something more: a reluctant partnership, a shot at redemption, and one hell of a ride.' Atomic is shaping up to be one of Sky's biggest shows of the year and is set to cap off the summer with a bang. ‌ One viewer replied to the trailer on YouTube: 'both lead actors rock - let's see how the writers are.' And another said: 'Sky does these types of serials extremely well. They're yet to let me down. I look forward to giving this a chance.' Is it on your radar or are you not a fan of high-octane thrill rides? Atomic premieres Thursday, 28th August on Sky.

Wednesday fans 'work out' prisoner's real identity and it's not Ophelia Addams

Wednesday fans have an intriguing alternative theory about who the mysterious freed prisoner could be. *Warning - This article contains spoilers for Wednesday season 2 part 1.* ‌ Some Netflix viewers are convinced they have 'worked out' the real identity of the prisoner Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) freed from Willow Hill at the end of season 2 part 1. ‌ It comes after a lot of speculation that the prisoner must surely be Wednesday's missing Aunt Ophelia following Morticia Addams' (Catherine Zeta-Jones) heartfelt admission about her sister earlier in the season. ‌ However, eagled-eyed Wednesday fans have another idea about who the woman could be - and it links back to Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan). In order to understand the compelling fan theory, we must first consider that the Wednesday season 2 part 1 finale left a lot of unanswered questions… What do fans think really happened at the end of Wednesday season 2 part 1? Towards the end of season 2 part 1, we see Hyler transform into the Hyde and murder his master Ms Thornhill/Laurel Gates (Christina Ricci) before charging at Wednesday and pausing menacingly in front of her. We then see Wednesday thrown violently from the window of Willow Hill onto the concrete below as she says in her voiceover: 'I've always dreamed of looking death in the face. But in my final moments, all I hear is my mother's words ringing in my ears. Maybe I have made everything worse... much worse.' While the assumption is that Tyler pushed Wednesday out of the window in his Hyde form, some fans have argued there is a reason why we never actually saw it happen. ‌ One theorised: 'Tyler did NOT push Wednesday idc to obvious! They didn't show it for a reason, watch it be revealed when they find him that it was someone else!!' Another agreed: 'I feel like Tyler pushing her is gonna be a huge red herring.' ‌ Watch Wednesday on Netflix for free with Sky from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description Who do Wednesday fans think the freed prisoner really is? Many fans think that the liberated prisoner who asks Wednesday 'What kind of angel are you?' is actually her missing Aunt Ophelia. However, many of the L.O.I.S prisoners at Willow Hill that Wednesday helped to free had previously been reported dead. ‌ Another outcast sent to Willow Hill was none other than… Tyler's late mother Francoise Galpin. Francoise's Hyde was released when she became pregnant with Tyler and her transformations ultimately got her locked up at Willow Hill. We have been told she died at some point afterwards, with her death having a profound effect on Tyler and his father Sheriff Donovan Galpin. But did she really die? ‌ On Reddit, one fan theorised: 'I'm guessing Tyler's mom is the woman who asked, 'What kind of angel are you' to Wednesday and she'll be able to get through to Tyler. He even tells Thornhill she's not his real mother. So Tyler might be neutralised that way.' However, it is also plausible that it was Francoise, driven mad by her years in captivity, who transformed into her Hyde self and threw Wednesday from the window in order to protect her son Tyler. What a plot twist that would be. What do fans think this means for Wednesday and Tyler in season 2 part 2? If Tyler throwing Wednesday from the window was actually a red herring, fans think this could lead to a reconciliation between the pair and a redemption arc for Tyler. ‌ 'From best enemies to lovers ever,' one wrote, as another concurred: 'He def still has feelings for her.' A third agreed: 'My theory is tyler wasn't the one who pushed wednesday out of the window a) they didn't show it happening b) ehh I lowkey still ship them even tho I know they're doomed.' Who is the lady in the cell and did Tyler really push Wednesday out of that window? We'll have to keep watching to find out. Wednesday season 2 part 1 is available to stream on Netflix. Part 2 is coming to Netflix on September 3.
