"Godzilla x Kong" Sequel Gets Title, Teaser, and Release Date as It Begins Production
The next chapter in Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' Monsterverse has officially been revealed.
The sequel to 'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire' will be titled 'Godzilla X Kong: Supernova,' the company announced Friday along with the news that the film has commenced production. It will release in theaters on March 26, 2027.
A short teaser video was also released. It shows an office for Monarch, the shadowy organization that tracks the gigantic, city-destroying monsters called Titans, where a computer gives a real-life hotline that fans can call to receive an automated message.
The phone number, appropriately is (240) MON-ARCH, which translates to 240-666-2724.
'Thank you for calling the Monarch Community Support Hotline, your global resource for Titan response and relief. Your help reporting Titan sightings plays a critical role in keeping our world safe,' the call says.
'Supernova' is the sixth movie in the popular Monsterverse franchise, following the success of 2024's 'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.'
As for the human cast, Dan Stevens reprises his role as Trapper, and newcomers include Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O'Connell, Delroy Lindo, Matthew Modine, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Sam Neill.
The teaser doesn't reveal much, but it shows a call coming in from Sedona, Arizona.
Diehard fans will remember that Sedona was the city where the spider-legged monster Scylla was awakened from in 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' when the three-headed dragon King Ghidorah summoned Titans from all over the world to fight Godzilla. There's also Godzilla bobblehead and a mug that says 'Keep Kong and Carry On' on the desk in the video.

Taylor Swift Unveils New Album 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Rana Atef Taylor Swift has officially announced her next album, The Life of a Showgirl, sending Swifties into another wave of speculation and excitement. The announcement came after days of cryptic teasers. On Monday night, Swift's website transformed into a glittering orange countdown to 12:12 a.m. ET on August 12. At the same time, Taylor Nation shared 12 Eras Tour images on Instagram with the caption: 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era … '' Swift will also appear on her partner Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast this Wednesday. Fans quickly connected the teaser imagery to her Variety Directors on Directors appearance from 2022, which was linked to All Too Well: The Short Film. When the countdown hit zero, Swift's website briefly crashed before revealing minimal details about the project. No release date has been confirmed, but the site states the album will ship before October 13, with a disclaimer: 'This is not the release date, official release date to be announced.' In a podcast clip shared later, Swift opened a briefcase and revealed a blurred vinyl, announcing: 'This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl.' Swift's career remains record-breaking. She has sold over 200 million records globally, holds the record for most No. 1 albums in US history by a female artist, and her Eras Tour became the first billion-dollar tour, earning more than $2 billion over 21 months. Her last album, The Tortured Poets Department (2024), set multiple Spotify records, including 300 million streams in a single day. This year, Swift also secured ownership of her entire catalogue after buying back the master recordings to her first six albums, a battle she has fought since 2019. While Reputation and her 2006 debut remain unreleased in 'Taylor's Version,' fans expect both to arrive in the future—whether they're needed or not. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani
