Katy Perry's Hilarious Reaction to John Mayer Song Request

Katy Perry's Hilarious Reaction to John Mayer Song Request

Cosmopolitan3 days ago
Katy Perry had a truly iconic reaction to John Mayer being brought up during her Lifetimes tour, and the video is—frankly—everything.
Watch below, but basically a fan asked Katy to pick from a list of possible songs only...every single option was 2013's "Who You Love"—aka Katy's song with John Mayer. In response, she jokingly refused to play the song and said "I'm not singing that song! Get away from me, Satan! How dare you!"
As a reminder, Katy and John Mayer dated from 2012 to 2014, and things were pretty on again / off again. John's confirmed that his song "Still Feel Like Your Man" is about his ex, telling the New York Times, "Who else would I be thinking about? And by the way, it's a testament to the fact that I have not dated a lot of people in the last five, six years. That was my only relationship. So it's like, give me this, people."
Meanwhile, Katy is currently rumored to be dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, though apparently her friends aren't into it.
"Katy's friends want her to have fun after her split from Orlando, but she's still very much grieving the end of their relationship and the fact that she never made it down the aisle," the source recently told The Sun. "They don't want her to rush into something serious, and have heard Justin has a bit of a reputation as a womanizer, and that he loves the fame game. It is still a very new flirty friendship, but friends are hoping she takes it slow with the next person and chooses a man who loves her for her."

Today's NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Sunday, August 10

In case you missed Saturday's NYT Mini, you can find the answers here: The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper's larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays. Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you'll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives. The NYT Mini is a fun daily distraction that usually takes no time at all. I try to beat the standard weekday grid in less than a minute. But sometimes I can't quite figure out one or two clues and need to reveal the answer. To help you avoid doing that, here are the NYT Mini Crossword answers (spoilers lie ahead, of course): FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers ACROSS 1) Try to tag - CHASE 6) Fictional sports icon with a statue by the Philadelphia Museum of Art - ROCKY 7) Loosen, as laces - UNTIE 8) Trigger for a werewolf's transformation - MOON 9) "It's freezing!" - BRR DOWN 1) Table tidbit - CRUMB 2) Pay homage to - HONOR 3) Driver, Cooper or Butler - ACTOR 4) Poisonous part of a poison dart frog- SKIN 5) Needle opening - EYE This was definitely a speed run day without a doubt. Even if you know only half the clues, that's enough to fill in the blanks to race toward the not-that-difficult other half. You can start with the only fictional sports icon you can probably even name, Rocky, and move on from there to werewolf moons or shivering from the cold. The only mildly tricky one was about Adam Driver, Bradley Cooper or Austin Butler, but by the time you got _CTOR it was kind of self-explanatory. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Today's NYT Strands Puzzle: Hints, Spangram And Answers For Sunday, August 10th

It's Sunday, which means we all need to preserve our strength. The work week (and/or school week) is just around the corner, so for the love of all that is good and holy, take a rest day! Be lazy. Eat leftovers or takeout. Watch some great TV shows and movies (which you can find in my latest weekend streaming guide) and play some games. Puzzle games, in particular, make for great lazy Sunday activities. In fact, let's do a Strands puzzle right now! Strands is the newest game in the New York Times' stable of puzzle games. It's a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we're given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day's theme. Spoilers ahead. Today's Strands Hints Read on for today's theme and some hints to help you uncover today's words. Today's Theme: A rip-roaring good time Hint: Words we use for celebratory gatherings. Clue: A lot of these are words like 'bash' or 'soiree' and so forth. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Here are the first two letters of each word: Remember, spoilers ahead! What Are Today's Strands Answers? Today's spangram is: PARTIES Here's the full list of words: Here's the completed Strands grid: I nabbed SHINDIG first, probably because it's the word I use the most out of this batch. I often describe smaller gatherings of friends as a 'shindig.' I've also been to a HOEDOWN and a JAMBOREE but I think of these more as events than just parties. BLOWOUT I typically associate with sales—a 'blowout sale' on all these appliances, my golly you'll save big! WINGDING I have never used and I'm not even sure I've heard it used. I've never been to a LUAU but I'd like to someday. I've never been to Hawaii! How did you do on your Strands today? Let me know on Twitter and Facebook. Be sure to check out my blog for my daily Wordle guides as well as all my other writing about TV shows, streaming guides, movie reviews, video game coverage and much more. Thanks for stopping by!
