Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's Lombardi Trophy prank ends in disaster
and Rob Gronkowski 's reunion with Lombardi Trophy ended in disaster on Friday.
The pair headlined a star-studded lineup at Fanatics Fest in New York City, joining the likes of Peyton Manning, Kevin Durant, Derek Jeter and Livvy Dunne.
However, the former New England Patriots teammates left fans stunned for all the wrong reasons with their antics.
A viral clip shared by Jordan Schultz captured the pair breaking the Lombardi Trophy with their game of catch. Thankfully, it appeared to be a mere replica.
In a corridor, the former quarterback, surrounded by fans, attempted to prove that his connection with the retired tight end was still as strong as it had been during their playing days.
He tossed the trophy towards Gronkowski, who caught it - only just. Gronkowski, who followed Brady to Tampa Bay in 2020, clasped the football-shaped top of the trophy as the base broke off and hit the floor.

'You broke it,' Brady could be heard shouting at Gronkowski as the two studied the broken trophy. 'You are washed up. I'm going home.'
The duo hoisted four Lombardi Trophies during their playing days together, three in New England and one with the Buccaneers.
Brady is no stranger to a Lombardi toss, having launched the trophy from a boat during the Buccaneers' 2020 Super Bowl win. However, that time, the trophy managed to safely find the hands of Cameron Brate.
The game of catch wasn't Brady's only pank at Fanatics Fest Friday. The seven-time Super Bowl champion brutally trolled his former rival Eli Manning by ripping his New York Giants jersey in half.
Brady spoke to some of the crowd at Manhattan's Javits Center before then taking part in a WWE-style performance later on.
The Fox commentator came out to the theme song of pro wrestler Cody Rhodes wearing sunglasses and carrying a WWE-style championship belt.
But, as he made his way down to the walkway, Brady was presented with a Giants jersey that had 'Manning 10' on the back.
The former New England Patriots quarterback then ripped the jersey in half in a playful dig at Manning.
Brady's actions prompted Manning, who was watching on, to storm the stage and climb on his rival's back.
Their rivalry dates back to their stellar NFL careers, when Manning and the Giants were able to briefly halt the Patriots' dominant run to beat them in two Super Bowls.

Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Diamonds predictions, odds and betting tips
AFTER dropping points in their opening Group E match, Inter Milan can't afford another slip-up when they face Urawa Red Diamonds at Lumen Field on Saturday. Urawa are also chasing their first victory of the competition. The J1 League side fell 3-1 to River Plate in their opener and now face the prospect of early elimination if they suffer another defeat. Waiting for the match to start? 📺 Keep up the live action with bet365 live casino! 👇 Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Dortmund odds Find the latest football betting odds for Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Dortmund here. Our odds are provided by our recommended football betting sites and are subject to change. Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Dortmund predictions Inter Milan were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Monterrey in their tournament opener and now find themselves under pressure to deliver a result. Veteran defender Sergio Ramos rolled back the years to give Monterrey the lead with a powerful header, but his opener was cancelled out just before half-time by Lautaro Martínez. Inter dominated possession (62%) and controlled the game, yet managed only two shots on target - highlighting a lack of cutting edge in the final third, something new head coach Cristian Chivu will be eager to address. Succeeding Simone Inzaghi is no small task, and with two points already dropped, the beaten Champions League finalists can't afford another slip-up. Anything less than a win could seriously jeopardise their chances of progressing in the competition. Meanwhile, Urawa have struggled for consistency in the J1 League. A mid-season surge saw them climb from 12th to 5th with five consecutive wins, but they've managed just two victories in their seven outings since. Maciej Skorża's side did end their domestic campaign on a high with a 2-1 win over Yokohama, but sadly they couldn't carry that momentum into the Club World Cup. They fell 3-1 to River Plate in their opening match. Facundo Colidio and Sebastián Driussi struck to put the Argentinians two goals ahead by the 48th minute. Yusuke Matsuo gave the Reds a glimmer of hope with a penalty in the 58th, but Maximiliano Meza sealed River's victory with a towering header in the 73rd minute. Another defeat against Inter, and Urawa can start planning their journey back home to Japan. Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Dortmund betting tips With both sides desperate for their first win of the tournament, Saturday's clash promises to be a high-stakes affair. Inter will be eager to impose their quality and experience, while Urawa know only a victory will keep their hopes alive. Our Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Diamonds match betting tips follow: Inter Milan to win and over 2.5 goals Despite the doom and gloom that's followed Inter Milan since their Champions League final defeat and the departure of Simone Inzaghi, the situation isn't nearly as bleak as it's been made out. Inter narrowly missed out on the Scudetto and, while they came up short in Europe's showpiece final, reaching the Champions League final for the second time in three seasons is no small feat. This is still a quality side, and we fancy them to get the job done here - likely by a margin of 2–1 or greater. Both teams to score We fully expect Inter Milan to come out on top in this one, but there's a noticeable lack of confidence in the Nerazzurri's recent displays - which could leave them vulnerable at the back against the J1 League side. Urawa have scored in 13 of their last 15 matches, including their 3-1 defeat to River Plate, and carry enough attacking threat to trouble Inter. We wouldn't be surprised to see them extend that scoring run against the Italians. Lautaro Martinez to score anytime Lautaro Martínez looks a solid shout in the anytime goalscorer market - and it's not hard to see why. The Argentine has long been Inter's go-to man when the chips are down. And while this hasn't been his most prolific campaign, Martínez has still shown his knack for delivering on the big occasion. He found the net in the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, and once again stepped up in Inter's Club World Cup opener, scoring a vital equaliser to spare his side's blushes against Monterrey. He's a player who thrives under pressure, and with Urawa's defence looking vulnerable, backing Lautaro to find the net at any time looks a sensible play. 📺 How to watch Inter Milan vs Urawa Red Dortmund Location: Lumen Field, Seattle, Washington, USA. Was this divorced American diva the original Meghan Markle? The REAL story of the most divisive person to ever marry into the royal family...
An American divorcee. A dazzling wardrobe. A royal romance that ends in exile. Denied the use of her HRH title, accused of corrupting a prince, cast as a threat to the very survival of the British monarchy and relentlessly vilified by the press. No, not Meghan Markle - but you'd be forgiven for thinking so.

My cultural awakening: I watched Sleepless in Seattle and realised I had to cancel my wedding
When my boyfriend proposed, I said yes – not because I was madly in love with him, but because it seemed like the correct thing to do. We'd been together for eight years and all of our friends were getting engaged; my life felt like a constant cycle of hen nights. I knew something was wrong but I suppressed it. Sometimes I'd get these flashes of anxiety. I'd worry about the fact that I no longer felt excited when my boyfriend walked into a room, or that we didn't have sex any more – but I was 28, which at that point felt ancient to me, and I was frightened of being alone. I told myself I was experiencing nothing more than a classic case of pre-wedding jitters. I threw myself into buying the big white dress and designing the invitations. I planned to stash a bottle of gin in the church, so I could have a shot to calm my nerves before I walked down the aisle. About three months before the wedding, I was home alone one evening and decided to watch Sleepless in Seattle. It was my father's favourite film – he loved the classic jazz soundtrack and Nora Ephron's dialogue. It had been on in the background a lot during my childhood and teenage years, so I was expecting it to be a comfort watch; something to almost lull me to sleep. I'd remembered the film as being about a man (Tom Hanks) and his cute son grieving the death of his wife. But that night I interpreted the film completely differently. I was sucked into the perspective of Meg Ryan's character, Annie, who is engaged to a perfectly decent but slightly boring man – and deciding whether or not to call it off. I'd always seen Sleepless in Seattle as being about bereavement, but that night on my sofa, it felt like a film about one woman's decision whether to get married, and play it safe, or give it all up and take a leap. There's a scene towards the beginning where Annie is trying on a wedding dress at her family home. Her mother is talking about the 'magic' she felt when she first laid eyes on her own husband, and Annie's face just goes completely blank. You can tell she doesn't feel anything close to 'magic' with Walter, her fiance. Watching that scene, I felt the familiar squirm of panic, but I squashed it down. I did love my boyfriend, in a way. We trusted each other and were good friends and he cared for me. I told myself: I'm not going to be the person who has the magic, and I'm OK with that. I'm going to be the person who has a sensible, kind husband, and children, and a life that is beautifully mapped out. But as the film went on I began to feel this overwhelming sadness. My wedding venue was booked, the deposit was paid – but watching Annie agonise over whether or not to leave Walter, I began to realise that the way I was feeling about my own wedding couldn't be ignored. Right at the end, Annie tells Walter about her doubts, and he has a line that illuminated everything for me: 'I don't want to be someone that anyone settles for. Marriage is hard enough without bringing such low expectations into it, isn't it?' I realised, listening to that, how selfish I was being. My boyfriend was good and generous. He didn't deserve to be 'settled' for. He didn't deserve to have a wife who had to get drunk to force herself down the aisle. That night when he came home, I said I wanted to postpone the wedding. I wasn't brave enough to outright ask to call it off, but he told me that if I didn't want to marry him now, he didn't want to be with me. I like to think perhaps he was having doubts too, but wasn't able to voice them – I hope that's true. I emailed all of our guests and told them that the wedding was cancelled, and people were generally supportive. I remember being so grateful that I didn't have to 'face' anyone. I could call the whole thing off while hiding behind a screen. I told my father that Sleepless in Seattle had inspired me to make the decision, but I kept that part a secret from everyone else in my life. He understood, but I suspected other people would think I'd gone mad. I spent about 11 years being single after the breakup, so I definitely had to face my fear of being alone. Often it was hard, feeling like a spare part at my friends' parties, but as I got older, being 'coupled up' and safe lost some of its allure. I saw the cracks in the marriages around me, and I realised coupledom doesn't actually insulate you from loneliness. I am married now, but I don't completely buy into the idea that there has to be 'magic' in a romantic partnership. I don't believe in the Disneyland, mind-altering, life-completing version of romance – that part of Sleepless in Seattle just doesn't ring true to me. But I still believe you should never settle for anyone. Sign up to Inside Saturday The only way to get a look behind the scenes of the Saturday magazine.
