'Clone me': Ozzy Osbourne selling his DNA in empty iced tea cans for a mouth-watering £335

Ozzy Osbourne is selling empty cans containing his DNA for £335 ($450) - so fans can "try to clone" the music legend.
The Prince of Darkness has teamed up with Liquid Death, whose tagline is "murder your thirst", on the bizarre product, dubbed Infinite Ozzy.
The 10 empty cans Ozzy drank from - and has signed - were re-sealed with the rocker's DNA sealed inside.
Liquid Death's PR team said: 'Once technology and federal law permit, fans can use this DNA to try to clone Ozzy in the future and enjoy him for hundreds of years to come."
Ozzy - who will bow out with one last performance at Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning charity concert at Birmingham's Villa Park on July 5 - quipped: 'Clone me, you bastards.'
The 76-year-old Paranoid hitmaker previously starred in an ad for Liquid Death's Death Dust electrolyte drink mix.
He joked in the clip: "Whatever you do, don't try freebasing it and never ever inject it. And don't even think about boofing it, you little perverts."
From overdoses to biting the head off a bat to jumping out of a hotel window, and his Parkinson's and spinal injuries, Ozzy has defied death countless times over the years.
Ozzy's preparation for the show includes rigorous training.
Speaking on his Ozzy Speaks podcast on SiriusXM recently, he said: 'I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It's hard going, but he's convinced that he can pull it off for me.
'I am having my blood pressure taken 15 times a day. I've got this f***ing device on my finger. It's a monitor to say how my heart rate is.'
Ozzy also admitted he is still uncertain whether he will perform standing up or seated, following multiple spinal surgeries related to a 2003 quad bike accident at his Buckinghamshire home.
A fall in 2019 displaced metal rods inserted into his back from the crash, which he said caused more complications than Parkinson's itself.
Ozzy was diagnosed with a mild form of Parkinson's in 2003 and delayed going public with his news until 2020.
Back To The Beginning will feature performances from the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Mastodon, and many more.

Ozzy Osbourne urges fans to clone him as he sells his DNA

The move has sparked hopes the Black Sabbath frontman could be cloned in the future, with the limited edition cans, called Infinite Ozzy, already believed to have sold out. Beverage business Liquid Death confirmed a deal had been made with the music icon. "Ozzy Osbourne is 1 of 1," the company said in a statement. "But we're selling his actual DNA so you can recycle him forever.". In an advert to promote the product, the 76-year-old rocker is featured drinking from the cans before crushing them with his hands. The cans are then placed in a sealed container.

'I was born nervous': Ozzy Osbourne voices fears ahead of Black Sabbath farewell gig

Ozzy Osbourne was "born nervous". The Prince of Darkness will bring the curtain down on his legendary career with the Back To The Beginning show at Birmingham's Villa Park on July 5 – where he will reunite with his original Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – and confessed that he would be feeling anxious even if was just a "regular gig". Ozzy told Mojo magazine: "Even if it was a regular gig, I would be a nervous wreck. I was born nervous. "Right now, I'm feeling grateful and proud and I'm sure I'll be feeling dozens more emotions on the day of the show." The gig is particularly poignant for Ozzy as he grew up near Aston Villa's stadium and would often hang around the ground during matches. The 76-year-old singer said: "Aston made me who I am. Being born there taught me so many things about life. It gave me ambition. "I grew up close to Villa Park and when the Villa were playing home matches, me and my mates would go down to the ground and offer to mind people's cars while the match was on, for a shilling. "Eventually, we thought to offer to wash the cars for more money. The first car I washed was with a Brillo pad, so you can imagine the outcome. That was a clue that it was my time to move on to other things." The gig will mark the first time that Black Sabbath's original line-up will have played together for 20 years but Ozzy insists that it will be the definitive end for the Paranoid rockers. The heavy metal icon, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019, said: "After this show, I'm going home, closing the door and will look back upon the great career I've had. But I'm done, done, done! You gotta know when to call it quits." Ozzy says that it is particularly special that Ward will be part of the performance after the drummer wasn't involved in the making of Black Sabbath's final EP The End, which was released back in 2016. He said: "It's very important that Bill is a part of this show. My career started with Bill, and I'd really like to finish with Bill by my side."
