Beyonce looks unrecognizable as she ditches glamour for family outing with Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy

Daily Mail5 hours ago

Beyonce kept things surprisingly low-key as she marked the end of the UK leg of her Cowboy Carter tour with a late-night family outing in London.
The 43-year-old superstar was spotted looking casual at the famed Harry's Bar in Mayfair, where she dined alongside husband Jay-Z, 55, and their 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
Ditching her usual show-stopping stage looks, the singer wore a simple olive jacket paired with pale blue jeans—an understated combo that was a far cry from the glamorous fashion she's known for.
Even her hair was dialed down, left long and flowing instead of the polished, high-concept styles she's recently rocked on stage.
Jay-Z also kept it low-key in an all-black outfit, while Blue Ivy brought a touch of her signature cool in a black leather jacket and dark sunglasses.
The trio reportedly stayed out until around 3 a.m. before slipping away from the Italian hotspot.
The outing comes amid reports that the Formation singer is preparing to 'bare all' in her own memoir, inspired by the success of her mother Tina Knowles's recent release, Matriarch: A Memoir.
'Beyoncé is quietly writing a memoir after being inspired by her mother's book,' an insider told the Daily Mail.
' Beyonce has been private about her personal life, but she documents everything so has technically been writing one for over a decade now.'
The Crazy in Love singer is notoriously private when it comes to her personal life, rarely using it to leverage brand deals like fellow celebs, instead dropping small insights at carefully planned moments in visual albums, lyrics and essays.
'One thing I've worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn't turned into a brand,' she told GQ in a rare interview last year.
'It's very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.'
In recent weeks she has seemingly eased up on her strict measures, welcoming on stage during her Cowboy Carter tour her eight-year-old daughter Rumi, who together with her twin brother Sir has largely been shrouded in secrecy since birth. The tour has been a family affair with eldest daughter Blue Ivy part of the dance troupe. Beyoncé's mom Tina Knowles also joined them onstage for a date in the US.
Beyoncé used the moment to pay tribute to 'Mama T' after Matriarch: A Memoir by Tina Knowles took the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestsellers list last month.
Tina's decision to go public is said to be the inspiration behind her daughter's decision to put pen to paper and tell her own story.
'Tina has been encouraging Beyoncé to be honest and raw about everything – including the infidelity,' our insider said.
Beyoncé steadfastly stood by her man when cheating rumors first surfaced in 2016, some two years after her sister Solange Knowles was captured on camera attacking Jay-Z in an elevator after the Met Gala.
Shocking surveillance footage – bought at the time by TMZ for a reported $250,000 – showed Solange jabbing her finger at her brother-in-law before shoving and hitting him and even throwing her clutch bag at his head.
Beyoncé, meanwhile, appeared unfazed, stepping out of the elevator fully composed and showing no sign of the fight that had taken place just seconds before.
The incident was explained away as a normal family altercation in a short statement: 'They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family… At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family.'
Fans were predictably unconvinced and pounced on the footage when Beyoncé released Lemonade - widely believed to be about her husband's infidelity. She has never addressed this or the elevator ruckus despite Ora, Roy and others standing accused of being the other woman. They both denied this.
Some of Beyoncé's fans claimed the elevator fight had started after Roy had 'provoked' Solange at the afterparty.
In 2017, Jay-Z finally admitted to New York Magazine, shortly after his wife had given birth to their twins, that he had been unfaithful.
'So even with women, you gonna [sic] shut down emotionally, so you can't connect… In my case, like, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity,' he said.
Amid the martial drama, Becoming Beyoncé - an unauthorized biography by J. Randy Taraborrelli. The book went some way to attempt to demystify the singer, documenting her rise to fame in Houston Texas, the eldest daughter of Tina, a hairdresser and Matthew Knowles, a sales manager. From there it followed her journey from a member of Girls Tyme to early fame in Destiny's child, meeting Jay-Z and becoming one of the most successful female recording artists of all time.
But, according to our insider, she did not feel the book 'portrayed her accurately.'
'She is going to bare all in her own words,' they said. 'Publishers are aware of this and have already started putting bids in.'
A memoir could be a smart move for the megastar who has struggled to sell out her current Cowboy Carter tour. She pocketed millions from her record-breaking Renaissance World Tour in 2023 - which sold out in minutes - and its theatrical release, but has so far failed to emulate the success.
Coupled with the ongoing controversy over Sean 'Diddy' Combs (Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old with the disgraced mogul - something he furiously denied) perhaps now is the time for Beyonce to change tack, drop her guard and finally tell-all in her own words.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shows off her toned abs in a plunging sports bra and gives a rare insight into family life with her two children

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed off her toned abs in a plunging sports bra in a social media update on Tuesday. Sharing a series of photos to her Instagram Story, the model, 37, also gave a rare insight into family life with her two children. Rosie shares two young children with her husband Jason Statham, 57 - Jack, seven, and Isabella, three. After posing for a mirror selfie after a yoga session, she also included an adorable photo of Jack and Isabella hugging in the garden. Another snap from a recent holiday showed her daughter at the beach, while Jack read a book in another fun picture. Rosie recently revealed it took her 'two years' for her body to feel 'fully normal' after having her children. In a new interview with the Sunday Times, Rosie opened up about her post-partum figure and told how her body has changed over time. She explained: 'You've aged, you've stretched, things are not sitting where they used to. After both babies it took two years to feel fully back to normal, and even then it's not really normal, is it?' Rosie went on to suggest that she wouldn't have it any other way as she told how life is 'too short'. She added: 'My twenties were fun, but then you get older, wiser and a little more roughed up. S**t happens. Being a mum is challenging. 'You never know if you're doing it right. The one thing I've learnt is the journey is more important than the destination. The process has to be enjoyable because life is really short.' It comes as Rosie revealed why she decided to move her family to London after living in Los Angeles for a decade. The model who grew up in Devon, returned to the UK in 2020 and explained that it was always 'the plan' to raise her children in the UK. 'She told The Times: 'We love the schools, the education. They're growing up British with their little British accents, which was important for us, and we have a great support system here. Jay's parents live up the road and see the kids most days, my family come to visit every six or eight weeks.' Rosie also said her kids are having a childhood not dissimilar to her own, even spending large amounts of time in Devon where she grew up. The mum, who only shares the occasional snap of her children online, added that the family head down to Devon in the summer where her children enjoy the same experiences she had growing up on the farm, which she notes is 'special'. However, she admits that it did take some time to get used to being in the UK again after so long stateside. She said she missed California's sunshine and 'eternal optimism' in particular but has grown to love living in London again.

Love Island fans slam Islander as the ‘real villain' after row over snogging challenge

LOVE Island fans have slammed an Islander for being the 'real villain' after a row over snogging. Last night's episode saw the group of sexy singletons play a rather revealing villa game called Got The Receipts. 4 4 4 The Islanders had to match saucy confessions to the correct person - before kissing who they guessed. Harry, Shea and Dejon seemingly secretly rigged Got The Receipts in order to kiss the girls they wanted. This was then revealed to the group in last night's episode, with everyone left fuming. Meg was perhaps one of the most annoyed over this revelation, because she found out that her man wanted to kiss Malisha so rigged the game so he did. Meg first lashed out at Malisha after she asked Dejon to go for a chat in The Hideaway, with things remaining frosty between the pair since. Although people have been branding Meg a "meal girl", some fans think Dejon is the one in the wrong in this situation. They think he's clearly leading Meg on, especially after teaming up with the boys for the game in the challenge on Monday night. Taking to the comments of the Instagram post, fans went wild and quickly branded Dejon as the real villain. One person penned: "Dejon is that guy who convinces you he's a 'nice guy' but then plays behind your back anyway. "He's been really full on with Meg, you can't blame her for believing he actually really liked her. She needs to just leave him be now though." Why Love Island USA Is the Reality TV Upgrade We Needed: Drama, Fun, and a Fresh New Vibe A second person agreed: "Dijon needs to stop messing with megs head, choose malisha and be done with it cause it's boring now. "Your a player, we get it." While a third wrote: "Dejon comes across so controlling! He can do things but she can't. "He says she don't like how she reacts yet he goes and kisses her on purpose. Like make your mind up." Love Island 2025 full lineup Harry Cooksley: A 30-year-old footballer with charm to spare. Shakira Khan: A 22-year-old Manchester-based model, ready to turn heads. He was released with no further action taken and denies any wrongdoing. Sophie Lee: A model and motivational speaker who has overcome adversity after suffering life-changing burns in an accident. And a fourth said: "Dejon has changed ever since malisha walked in i've been seeing his true colours show and the way he tries to play victim like dude just tell meg you want to explore malisha more." This comes after a furious row exploded in the villa last night after the rigging of the game was revealed. The row erupted between Tommy and Shea after Tommy rumbled the plot. He then realised Shea had deliberately kissed his girl Megan. Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX. 4

EastEnders star Michelle Ryan reveals 'emotional' secret cast reunion ahead of her shock return as Zoe Slater

EastEnders star Michelle Ryan has revealed she secretly reunited with the cast of the soap before her bombshell return as Zoe Slater. Fans were stunned on Monday when it was revealed that the actress, 40, had reprised her role on the BBC soap after a 20-year absence. Michelle's return had been kept a closely-guarded secret, with her return episode even held back from early release on BBC iPlayer. Speaking to Richard Arnold on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain, Michelle shared that she met up with some of the cast who play the Slater clan, before heading to set to film her return scenes. Admitting she had 'goosebumps' over her comeback, she said: 'I've always loved working with Jessie [Wallace]. 'We actually went for a cast dinner with the Slater family so that I would feel welcome with the new people that I didn't know. And seeing her, she got so emotional. 'And when she found out I had the job again she was screaming and I was just like, this just feels like coming home.' Michelle is set to appear in two more episodes of EastEnders this week, and will be back on the soap permanently later this year. Teasing what fans can expect from Zoe now she's back on the Square, she added: 'Brace yourself for what she's going to be like, she's troubled. That's great for an actress to play, that chaos. 'It has felt like I've never been away, it was seamless and it was easy, so I'm really lucky.' Michelle's surprise return to EastEnders aired in the closing moments of Monday's episode, as the soap's new showrunner Ben Wadey kicked off his tenure on the soap. Speaking on her return, she said: 'It feels like coming home. After doing my first few scenes, it was like I'd never been away. It all happened at the right time. 'I'd already been thinking about a return because I'd met up with Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo) and Kim Medcalf (Sam Mitchell) and we were reminiscing our fond memories of the show, and I'd also joined social media and saw that there was still a lot of love for the character. 'It just so happened that at the same time, EastEnders had announced a new Exec who was keen to explore the potential of a return as he was such a massive fan of Zoe and the Slaters, so both of our worlds aligned at the right time, and I'm so excited to be back. Speaking to Richard Arnold on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain , Michelle shared that she met up with some of the cast who play the Slater clan, before heading to set to film her return 'When I was pitched the storylines, and when I read the scripts, I knew it was the right decision.' EastEnders new boss, Executive Producer Ben Wadey added: 'Before I even stepped into the role, Zoe Slater was on my wish-list of returnees as, although we haven't seen her on screen for twenty years, her character has transcended time due to her popular storylines.' Since Zoe's exit from Walford 20 years ago, it's been revealed that she and Kat have become estranged. Teasing her character's reason to come back to Albert Square, Michelle added: 'I can't say too much as there is a lot of drama to come, but Zoe is a mess. 'She's not the girl that left Walford twenty years ago, and she's been really struggling on her own. 'She has her defences up, but this week you will see that she needs help, but whether she is willing to accept it is another story.' During her time on the show, Michelle was involved in one of EastEnders' biggest storylines with it revealed that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) was in fact Zoe's mother and not her sister, with explosive scenes seeing her yell: 'You ain't my mother!', only for Kat to reply: 'Yes I am!' Back in 2001, EastEnders' leopard-print-loving Kat Slater, who had been sexually abused by her uncle, finally revealed to her 'sister' Zoe that she was, in fact, her mother. It remains one of the most famous and iconic moments in EastEnders' 40-year history - a scene that has been mimicked by soap fans worldwide.
