Some took issue with Helena Ford's presence on the show after historic tweets emerged in which she used offensive language.
Among them were derogatory posts about foreigners, which The Sun is not repeating.
A source close to Helena told us: "These tweets are not reflective of the language Helena would use as a 30 year old woman and she would acknowledge she has done a lot of growing up since what she very naively posted over eight years ago."
Other viewers were unhappy with the way Shakira Khan was portrayed during Movie Night.
In a clip played to the villa, Shakira could be seen repeatedly bashing villa rivals Meg Moore and Helena.
It certainly portrayed her in a very negative light, but missing from the edit was the context behind her outbursts as well as things that had been said about her.
One viewer wrote on X: "Love Island is going to make out the mean girls are Shakira and Toni when it's been Meg and Helena."
They added: "It's giving rigged if they don't show what Meg, Helena and Harry have actually been like and what they've been saying!"
Others felt Shakira had been given a "mean girl" edit and clips, such as when Meg and Helena claimed she was grafting everyone and probably even fancied the villa plants, missed the cut.
In addition, there were also various accusations of bullying regarding different unnamed Islanders.

The tense dynamic in the house has certainly led to some difficult moments in recent days with numerous couple swaps and factions forming because of them.
There are likely to be more complaints next week too after villa lothario Harrison's shocking antics ahead of the latest recoupling.
Despite having sex with partner Lauren twice in recent days, he pulled ex Toni for a secret chat on the terrace last night ahead of the recoupling.
He told her that he still had feelings for her and made a desperate plea for her to pick him.
She duly did, leaving viewers and Islanders stunned, while shocked Lauren broke down in tears.

Love Island's biggest Ofcom complaints
Love Island has been hit with thousands of complaints over the years - here are the most moaned about moments
Dani's tears: In 2018, Ofcom received 2,644 complaints when Dani Dyer was left in floods of tears over Jack Fincham during the Casa Amor.
Viewers felt the show had been manipulated to make it appear Jack was going to cheat, when in fact he wasn't. And poor Dani didn't learn the truth for days.
Maura fury: Although she later won over the public, Maura Higgins got off to a bad start in 2019. After arriving as a bombshell, she made a beeline for Tommy Fury - who was coupled up with Molly-Mae Hague - and tried to kiss him while straddling him on a daybed. 709 people accused her actions of being 'sexual harassment'.
Faye explodes: The 2021 series of Love Island remains the most complained series about yet. 4,330 complaints were made to Ofcom after Faye Winter received a postcard from Casa Amor, which appeared to show her fella Teddy Soares kissing a bombshell.
But a whopping 24,763 complaints flooded in when Faye came face-to-face with Teddy again. Faye's shocking outburst even sparked a reaction from male domestic abuse charity, ManKind Initiative, who branded her 'unacceptable'.
Bish bash: The following year, the fallout from Movie Night sparked 3,617 Ofcom complaints. Fans of the show were horrified by Luca Bish's harsh reaction when Gemma Owen was shown speaking to bombshell Billy Brown.
Muggy Mitch: Almost 1,000 Ofcom complaints flooded in from viewers unimpressed with Mitchel Taylor's treatment of Abi Moores.
They felt he was 'targeting' her and even urged Love Island bosses to check on Abi's 'mental health and welfare'.

Love Island reveals shock new bombshell Angel Swift who isn't afraid to step on toes as fans speculate on latest twist
It was another dramatic night for Thursday's Love Island after the Couple Of Sorts game caused plenty of arguments. However the tension didn't end there as at the end of the episode Shakira received a text to reveal the game was not over. New bombshell Angel Swift was then seen on her way to the villa in the show's latest twist. Angel is a 26-year-old aesthetics practitioner and salon owner from Maidstone and has already revealed she isn't afraid to step on toes. Asked whether she would break up a couple she replied: 'Breaking up another couple? That is what's going to happen, so it's quite exciting really. 'I feel like people have been getting their heads turned very easily. I do feel like I have quite a good chance of turning someone's head.' Angel describes herself as a '20 out of 10' and already has her eyes set on one islander in particular. She said: 'I'd like to get to know Ty and see what he's about.' After being single for a year she is going into the villa with the hope of finding a serious relationship. 'It's an amazing opportunity to make new connections and have new experiences. I'm ready to make memories with someone, go travelling with them and fall in love,' she added. Fans took to Twitter as they speculated over what Angel's entrance will mean as they suggested she might get the chance to steal a boy straight away. They penned: 'I reckon this bombshell has to steal a boy straight away then the single girl gets dumped Meanwhile others were quick to suggest it won't be long before certain boys have their head turned straight away. They added: 'Already know Harrison, Dejon and Harry will all be over that bombshell tomorrow'; 'harrison eyeing up that bombshell as his next victim…' 'This bombshell better be for Cach and Cach only. Harrison pls do not even try'; 'WHY DO THE GUYS ALWAYS GET A BOMBSHELL SEND IN SOME MEN FOR THESE LADIES'; 'They should of brought in a boy bombshell and have a boy be dumped'. Earlier in the episode Love Island fans were left convinced exes Harry and Emma secretly plotted to win the £50k prize before entering the show after the pair spoke about getting back together. Harry pulled Emma for a flirty chat where they discussed 'taking their house off the market if they won the show' after both hinting they are keen to rekindle things. Despite Emma's efforts to put the girls off Harry by airing his dirty laundry in recent weeks, the public thinks it was her ploy to get him back all along. During their chat, Harry, who was in a four-year relationship with Emma, said: 'I can't compare anyone to you. Of course I love you, I'm always going to have love for you. It was a long time, I've known you for a very long time.' He added: 'But did we really go on Love Island to get back together?' 'Well, I didn't plan this', Emma said. Harry added: 'Well, clearly I didn't. I think we need another recoupling, everyone's f****** wife swapping.' Helena - who is currently coupled up with Harry - was left raging after Emma pulled her for a chat to share interest into getting back with her ex Emma laughed: 'I didn't need to be because I'll see you at home. See you back at home in bed.' Harry said: 'See you at home dear. Take the house off the market, won't we? I can't believe it hasn't sold. Maybe we'll just chuck a load of cash at it after this.' Emma said: 'Well if we win, we're going to have to. 50 large, I like to stay optimistic.' Helena Ford - who is currently coupled up with Harry - was left raging after Emma pulled her for a chat to share interest into getting back with her ex.

After patching things up and returning to the UK, the couple checked into Glasto's luxury £38k Pop-Up hotel to celebrate their anniversary. And now the pair have put on an united front as Lou shared an album of cosy snaps to Instagram. Makeup artist Lou looked radiant with her footballer partner following reports that their "friends feared the relationship won't last." In the post, Lou was seen cuddled up to Andy while they lounged on a white sofa. She also shared a snap from when they enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday abroad. She captioned the loved-up post: "Few smiley one." The couple haven't hesitated to flaunt their romance on social media, and have shared a slew of loved-up snaps together from their recent sun-soaked holidays. However, a source told The Sun, their friends think it is just a "holiday romance" and that their differences will become too obvious to ignore when they return home and are faced with "reality." The source continued: "There are genuine fears that Andy and Lou won't last when they return to the UK. Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale kiss and make up in £38,000 posh Glasto camp as they snog and hold hands after Greece bust-up "Their relationship has effectively been a big holiday romance, and they are going to be seriously tested when returning to reality. "Andy has clearly made it his priority to be closer to his children. "While that is admirable, things might not be the same for him and fun-loving Lou back in the UK." Andy shares children Arlo, eight, Wolf, five, and Marvel Mae with estranged wife Billi Mucklow and Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14, from a past relationship - all of five of whom Billi has been raising back home. Andy's two-year marriage to Billi ended last summer after 11 years together. In a statement to The Sun in July 2024, Andy said: "Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings. "It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children." Andy is said to be desperate to cut ties with his old life with ex Billi, who he shares three of his five children with. Back in May 2022, Andy's wedding was almost called off when he was caught passed out on a hotel bed with two blondes during a raucous stag do. He had been drinking since midday as he celebrated the end of his single life in Dubai. The 36-year-old insisted nothing sexual happened between him and the blondes - and begged Billi for forgiveness. She took him back and the pair married two weeks later but now they are in the middle of a divorce. THE ex-England footballer has blamed recent rows on the stress of his divorce from Billi Mucklow, but says he'll 'do anything' to keep Lou. 5 Lou snuggled into Andy who couldn't seem to get enough of her Credit: instagram

Olivia Attwood reveals break-in at home she shares with husband Bradley Dack
In a video posted to Instagram, she said: 'Our house got broken into last night and I just did a 5am gym sesh cause I need to get through some of the rage and I need to get ready for the busiest f****** day of my life. 'So obviously I can't go into too much detail cause it's like an open investigation now, but some scumbags basically smashed a second-floor window, went in. 'Security team got the notification within 30 seconds and were there in two minutes with dogs and the little scumbags ran off. 'They got some stuff, but they didn't get what they came for and now I have to just show face, because it's a really important work day, and I feel a bit tired.' In a post to her Instagram story, she added: 'That's why we pay through the nose for private security. On sight in 2 minutes with dog team. 'And the incredible NW (northwest) police force not far behind. 'We saw your faces, we have your foot prints, and finger prints. 'And sorry what you were looking for isn't actually kept at the property.' Attwood married footballer Dack, 31, in June 2023. The couple appeared in the ITV reality TV show Olivia Marries Her Match, which followed the pair in the lead up to their wedding.
