Jim Carrey shaves another $1M off his longtime LA home after a deal fell through
The actor first put the Brentwood compound on the market in early 2023 for nearly $29 million, as The Post reported at the time.
Since then, it has undergone several price reductions before entering contract late last year.
That transaction ultimately fell through, and the property returned to market in February, according to Mansion Global.

The property narrowly avoided direct impact from the January wildfires in nearby Mandeville Canyon but was close enough to prompt evacuation.
Real estate professionals in the area say the fires contributed to a wave of insurance and financing uncertainties, with some pending sales, including Carrey's, falling apart amid the heightened risk.
Carrey previously said he was letting go of the residence simply because he no longer spends much time there.
His listing agent, Graham J. Larson of Sotheby's International Realty, declined to comment.

Wendy's 'Meal of Misfortune' will roll out in time for 'Wednesday' Season 2, the first half of which debuts on Netflix on Aug. 6, according to the streaming giant. Part 2 will premiere in September. Each meal comes in custom packaging inspired by Wednesday Addams herself, including a bag that reads: 'There's nothing happy about this meal.' Pricing information wasn't immediately available. Don't believe your lying eyes. With the incredibly rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence, it's getting harder to tell what — or, more precisely, who — is real these days. Sexy influencer Mia Zelu made headlines earlier this month after her stunning snaps from Wimbledon sent fans into a frenzy. Advertisement 13 Instagram users were fawning over photographs of Mia Zelu at Wimbledon earlier this month — but it turns out she's not a real person. The AI character was created by an unidentified software developer, fooling millions of people. The blonde beauty boasts 168,000 followers on Instagram, but there's just one problem: she isn't real. Mia is an artificial bot designed by an unidentified software developer, and she's just one of a growing species. Advertisement 'AI influencers' are cropping up on social media in droves, duping users into believing they're actual humans with their incredibly lifelike images and videos. Most of our poll participants were equally confused, believing Gessica was the creation of an AI expert. Several pointed to the model's rippling abs in the image we showed as proof that she was't human. But the influencer insists she's the real deal — aside from a few Photoshop touch-ups, of course. Answer: Real model Image 5: Milla Sofia 13 Milla Sofia is a 24-year-old social media influencer from Helsinki, Finland — but is she the real deal? @AiModelMilla/X 13 Aaron J Christopher, 21, a self-proclaimed social media influencer, stopped for our test in Times Square. Billed as a 24-year-old 'virtual girl' from Helsinki, Finland, the blonde-hair, blue-eyed bot has become a sensation on social media. Her anonymous creator told the Independent that he's not trying to push unrealistic beauty standards. 'Social media influencers edit and airbrush their content all the time, and different filters are popular,' he explained. However, the tech whiz may need to brush up on his skills, as everyone we quizzed was correctly able to identify Milla as AI. Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant has liked many of her posts, leading fans to believe that he'd been'catfished' 'Rishabh Pant thinks he's interacting with a real girl, totally oblivious to the fact that it's an AI,' criticized one. But it turns out Pant isn't alone. Almost all the pedestrians who partook in The Post's quiz believed she was a real model. Big Apple resident Quinn Starner, 23, was one of the few who figured out that the beauty was a bot. 'She's beautiful,' Starner stated. 'But she's fake.' Answer: AI Bot.

Ozzy Osbourne felt like Keith Richards: 'Too tough to die'
Despite Ozzy Osbourne's health woes, no one was ready for the rock god's life to end at 76. The Black Sabbath frontman passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 'surrounded by love,' his family revealed in a statement. 'I definitely didn't prep for it,' he said in a phone interview hours after Ozzy's passing was announced. Glendenning started his career in Hollywood when he joined 'The Osbournes' at the end of its first season in 2002 until the show wrapped in 2005 as a camera operator and technical supervisor. He then teamed up with the heavy metal singer as the director of photography for Ozzy's 2020 'Nine Lives' documentary. 'I kind of thought he was going to be like a Keith Richards, man. I just thought nothing was going to kill him. You know, like, [he's] too tough to die,' Glendenning shared with The Post.
